History: It began in a quite suburb known as haven city. Jade and Phillip met in the usual way, a certain coffee shop and a simple mix-up and it was love at first sight. It wasn't long before they dated and soon married and had children. Sarah was the first born, the result of their honeymoon. She was an average child to an average family in a very average city.

Phillip was an engineer, he worked at an automobile factory and managed the multitude of machines. Jade on the other hand was a florist. They lived well under the circumstances and where overjoyed when they found out that they were having another child. Little did they know that they would have twins, Paul and Samuel, when they where born they did their best to shower each with the same amount of love and attention.

As the two grew up it was obvious that they had very different personalities, while Sam was quiet and slightly odd, Paul was fiercely outgoing and had very many friends. In high school Paul excelled in biology, and Sam excelled in mathematics while neither was far from the other. That was when they began to manifest their abilities.

The world was different, changed, one day. It seemed to distort and warp, the edges of things seeming to curve off into infinity, he felt like he was going going insane. He went weeks with this vision when under pressure of a local bully he lashed out with his mind. The world around the bully caved into a point and to a normal person's eye he elongated and then disappeared to Sam the world lines wrapped around him and thrust him up, in a direction he could not describe, in to darkness. He ran away in shock, he didn't know what he did and he didn't know how to undo it. So the child who was normal became not so.

He grew up, experimenting with his ability and hiding it. He went to college and studied mathematics and physics, receiving renown from his theories. Along his studies he realized just what his ability was: Dimensional Manipulation, the ability to manipulate objects' dimensional aspects.

With his newfound understanding he made great strides in theoretical physics (even though to him it wasn't theoretical) and he even began to work on making machines that could duplicate his power. That was when Corona found him.

They came in the night, they knew what he was but not what he could do. They attempted to put a bag over his head and tie his hands, but as he woke he saw "through" the bag, his vision seeming to peer into the world as if it was flat. He shifted his hands out of the bonds by pulling them into the dimension "above" it and began to warp his room. A slash of light and a vertical line rotated into a scene of a meadow. There was a hole in the air in his room and it led to somewhere far away. He barreled through the hole and came out the other side, he closed it with his mind, just as a black garbed commando was trying to get through. As the hole closed it sliced the arm off and Sam just stared at the arm in horror.

Corona tried another means, when they found out what happened. They offered a job. Without knowing who had attacked him and why he happily accepted. With the resources of Corona he could do anything he wanted. So while Sam did his studies, Corona studied him.
