This place looks a lot better than it did when I first took a look at it (no offence) but it could still use a lot more work. For example, there shouldn't really be a space (no matter how small) between the forum banner and the board. On the up side, I find it both clever and refreshing that there's so much information on all of the powers a character can have. I mean, how often do you read about the ability to manipulate milk? xD

Unfortunately, a new member will have to spend majority of their time reading through all of those powers before they make their character, but I suppose it can't be helped.

Button sets. I can't stress this enough. Complete graphics make the board, believe me. I believe we've had this conversation before, Merre, and if you're too busy, I can easily take a load off your hands and do it for you if need be. But only if need be. Actually, graphics in general make a forum look good and professional, and not to mention more attractive! ^^

For example, affiliate buttons and banners for members to use in their signatures is a fine plus. Not only does it make you look good, it promotes your community! Think about looking at someone's signature on another board. Take a look:

That banner takes up a lot of room, first of all. Second of all, it's not all that special looking. It's a cluster phuck of pictures smacked into one with text on it. Not really saying much... It might pull in a few guests, but probably not many promising members.

Not to brag or anything, but this is pure epic win. It's attractive, it's symbolic, it gets its point across, and it also advertises. Who would not look at this and say, "ooo! Let's check this out."? This is the kinda thing that pulls people in.

Advertising. It's more so advice than anything and you don't exactly have to advertise on other forums, either. Put yourself out there! I mean, take what I did for the DSOJ for example. I made a myspace for my forum and have all of my members as friends. Check it out here if you like. Maybe use it as an example even! Update it, broadcast it, etc. Make yourself known.

Upgrade! >.< Honestly, IF is dead. Not many people have them or look at them anymore. Zetaboards gets all the attention now. I would highly recommend you upgrade. It won't erase anything, don't worry, but the day it converts, the board will be unavailable to everyone for 24 hours due to transfer. Honestly, dude, it's so worth it. Your members can do SO much more!

ZB offers a blog feature! It's awesome. Members can write out personal stories, reviews, journal stuff (personal), etc. It's a life savior, trust me.

The skins are MUCH more attractive, sleeker, and even better than they are with IF. And there's so much more to do, too! I would recommend testing it out first before hand though, just to see which one you like best. <3
