Rules
The Great Rule:
DO NOT HARASS/THREATEN ANY MEMBER OOC.

The Great Guidelines:
No double-posting / spamming. This means making many short or pointless posts to increase the amount of money that you have, or advertising other sites a lot in places like the . This also includes OOC only comments in the RP forums and posting more than one time in a row for the sake of bumping your topic to make it the last visible post or any other reason. Other actions not specifically listed yet may also be considered by the admins and moderators as spam, depending on the situation.

No god-moding. This is where you play your character as an all-powerful or overly-powerful being. Also includes not allowing yourself to get hurt and having your attacks always do serious damage. When you god-mode, it really takes away from the fun of RPing and agitates the people you're playing with.

No power-playing. This involves controlling the actions of someone else's character, and saying that they did something or reacted somehow that they didn't put in their posts. You cannot do this even if the other person is an alternate account of yours.

There is to be no "net-speak" in RP posts. Do not use abbreviations like "ur" and "sum1" or you will be warned. RPing is for proper writing. Please also keep smilies in the Out Of Character posts / comments ONLY.

Please post your topics in the correct forums. Example: Do NOT advertise for a site that you like in the General OOC Boards. They have a designated location of their own.

Death is allowed, but don't kill others without their permission. You may not kill off someone else's character unless they give you explicit permission to do so.

No one liners. In fact, I'd love to see nicely developed posts. Short happens, but if you give less than one good paragraph with material to help the next person's post, we will warn you. Try to make a good, detailed post. We want to know what's going on. Try to involve as many senses as possible without getting too into detail to remember you're making a story.

Respect other players and the fact that they aren't always on. Please wait in a thread for others to post. If a person tells you it's okay to skip them, put an OOC note at the bottom.

Do not start other topics while you are in the middle of a character-changing, plot integral story. You don't know how it'll turn out! You may die!

Stay true to your characters.

If you were not there for all of the posts, you don't know what is going on unless someone tells you. (this is for IC of course you can just read it but your character can't)

Do not make a character and then act completely contrary without good reason.

On controlling another:

If the player gives you permission to put minor expressions, reactions, or gestures in your post, then put a note at the bottom. This goes the same for controlling another person's NPC (non-player character). If the character is a constant companion that is property of the player, let it be.

If you haven't been given express permission by a player, then you cannot do anything on behalf of the character.

If a character is to die, please notify an admin of some sort so we can arrange that the character stays reasonably dead. Tell us ahead of time if it is a fake death. I don't want a resurrection just because someone decides after the fact that he/she wants it.
