Descent, (Open) Gatekeeper plot roleplay. :D

The Valley of Heroes was certainly not occupied by anything of the sort today. Oh no. A monster owned the valley, the Legendary arena, on this day.

The Gatekeeper, Bio Cerberus, was sitting in the large stone arena with his small army behind him. The ten Blade Ligers and Liger Zero were laying around, just doing random Zoidly things.

The Bio Zoid itself was laying down in the center, contemplating. Repairing. Its middle nose had started to reform, and the little scratches in its armor had been repaired already.

It turned a mental eye towards its pilot, the girl who's mind he was busy putting back together. In the way he wanted. She'd been thusfar unresponsive to nearly everything. It was starting to get better though.

Girl, come out here,

In the cockpit, Timber felt herself drop to the floor of the suddenly, gasping in slight surprise. Standing on the metal ground for a second.. she noticed something.... off. "What?"

Just... come out here,

The floor of the cockpit dropped open, but lucky for Timber, the chest of the Zoid wasn't too far from the ground. She scrambled up after she'd hit the ground, tail thrasing in irri-

Wait.

Tail?

The Zoid curled all three heads around to look under itself. Come over here. Into the sunlight, it scooted back instead of waiting for her. She winced slightly. "Bright.."

Well, look at that. I think I did a rather good job, don't you think? Look at your arm,

She looked, bringing up a skeletal clawed limb instead of the vaguely mangled remains of an arm that had been there for a while. She stared, even though there was barely any interest there. She looked almost bored.

I told you that I would get you a new arm. I suppose you haven't noticed that the rest of the armor grew?

"I noticed," she said softly. There was a pause, "I have a tail now,"

The Gatekeeper grinned, its own skeletal thrashing around behind it. Nobody can defeat you now. All that armor is made of Bio Armor. I expanded the interface to be more armored, and that ribcage and shoulder armor I added, the Zoid actually sounded proud of itself. With good reason, really. The armor stretched like a ribcage over Timber's vest, but it was loose enough to not be horribly constricting. The shoulders were covered with armor, and there was a huge spike that shot out from there and swept backwards, like the Gatekeeper's own shoulder spikes. The spinal brace, which before had just been a piece of metal, actually looked like a Bio Armor spine. It extended all the way down to form an actual tail, complete with a spiked blade on the end that was serrated to look like the Gatekeeper's charger tail. And the arm.. though not all of it had been gone in the first place, armor stretched up all the way to the shoulder. The claws on the hand were like small scythes, golden like the Gatekeeper's. The silver armor stretched up to the elbow, where it shot off into a huge spike there.

It was easy to see why the Zoid thought of them as invincible now.




While the two sat there and talked, three Zoids were watching them nearbye.

See? See?! A monster, just like we said,

I see it. But where did this beast come from?

We don't know, actually. We just discovered it here earlyer this morning.

Alpha, Omega, and Azule. The three feline Zoids were perched on the cliff, overlooking the valley but trying to keep hidden from sight. They watched the Gatekeeper and its mini army, still discussing what they were going to do...

"Well isn't this interesting.." Mused a man to himself as he overlooked the gathering of Zoids- his interest most certainly pulled primarily upon the strange skeletal creature that really stood out. "I've never seen anything like that before. Wonder if it'd be a threat.." His voice was very calm for someone so intrigued, and almost humble. His one uncovered eye (the other was hidden beneath a royal blue headband, resting diagonally across the top of his head) browsed over the Blade Liger Ab's, then casually moved onto the smallest, almost undetectabe being. His eye widened in surprise, inspecting every odd inch of the woman- if she could even be called that by now. He'd go more for beast.

"Suppose I have nothing to complain about pertaining to my own slight deformity now.." He sighed, slipping his black sandals forward a bit, which slid across what was rounded orange transparent glass. The man was crouched down low, but almost to the canopy of his Zoid's, body hunched forward a bit for balance. "What do you think, Mangetsu. Should we get a closer look?" The man looked down to where the optics of the mecha's would be, should it ever get any. When no response came, he sighed and gave a light tap with his knuckles onto the perked white ear behind him.

I was thinking, you oaf. Snarled the Whitz Wolf, who gave his head a firm shake to try and get his partner to fall- but to no avail. The halfbreed wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. We're outnumbered. Outgunned. Probably outclassed too. He responded at last, scraping his nails against the rock ground, which was the ledge of a cliff overlooking the others. Mangetsu's maw seemed to slim into a grin. I like those odds.

The man gave a firm nod and a smile- though it went unseen beneath the mask over his mouth and nose, but his eye smiled for him. "That's the spirit." Pause. "But lets see what those others are doing first.." Lazily, he pointed a finger at the two tigers and the Murasame Liger. [Insert large sweat drop here for both Zoid and pilot.]

The small army didn't seem to give any indication of noticing any of the Zoids watching, save for the Gatekeeper suddenly stopped in the middle of a sentence and looked around. When he didn't see anything right off the bat, he shrugged and leaned his head back down.

We're being watched, he rumbled softly.

"Do you want to take care of them?"

No, no. Not yet, he scraped his scything nails on the ground in thought. Those three felines, I already know about. They've been here for a while. Lets see what this other person does, the skeletal teeth seemed to grin, and the girl grinned right back in the same sinister kinda way.



The three big cats didn't notice the Wolf at first, but Alpha's head perked slightly as he paused to think. He looked over at the Wolf, watching it for a second.

Hey, look. Azule looked up immidiately, tilting his head at the Wolf. Omega didnt' look, and it took Alpha bopping him on the head to get his attetnion.

What?? Alpha forcibly turned his head to look at the wolf, Oh. A canine. I see. he stared for a second, optics flickering in a blink.

(MINION)

The Midnight Demon stalked behind it's new master. The midnight blue Liger Zero liked this. It was a good feeling, a feelingof power. His old instincts had been buried by his previous master, a Zoidian.

Behind Azule, a gold Liger Zero stalked up. Blade snarled at the Bio Cerberus to himself. He and his pilot, Leon had been tracking this rogue Zoid ever since the reports came in that a mysterious Bio Zoid had been seen, with a small army of Zoids.

Blade spoke to the three feline Zoids. I suppose you three have been observing this abomination

"Where are your manners Blade...I'm Leon Rechter, of the Guardian Force and this is my Liger Zero. We've been tracking this fiendish Zoid for days. Can you give any info on it?"

"I'll leave the tigers to you, buddy." The man grinned beneath the face mask, already feeling the tension in his partner beneath his feet. Raising to his full height, he first ran a hand through his silver spikey/messy hair (which leaned to the left) before placing both hands together. Different signs were made between his fingers, each time they interlocked in a different formation, whose names he muttered under his breath. Out of nowhere it seemed, a puff of gray smoke expanded around and consumed his form, which left nothing behind upon its clearing.

You have got to be kidding me. Grumbled the Whitz Wolf, who pointed his snout towards the group of felines. More sweat drops dotted his head, which was then hung with a heavy sigh. Shrugging his shoulders, Mangetsu figured he might as well make friends- those three seemed like they'd be good allies. And heck- he didn't want them to be his enemy. So there he was, walking with much caution towards the three, tail swinging from side to side like a pendullum. He froze in mid-step, attention being drawn back to the gathering below- where another cat showed up. What is this place, a feline paradise?

Shaking his head, the Whitz Wolf returned to his pace- only to stop again and facefault- flat out facefault- with a big thud. Yet another feline popped up- one of gold. After getting up and recovering, Mangetsu cleared his throat and paused a good ten meters from the now four to get their attention. Um..hi. He gave a little wave with a paw.


A second puff of smoke exploded around the odd woman- or beast if you will, which quickly fanned away. The silver-haired man stood up from what was a crouched position and cracked his neck from side to side. That single eye of his smiled for him again as he rubbed the backside of his head, while the other was put onto his waist. "Hello there."

"Well, there's our answer," she said, looking down at her claws and flexing them. Testing them. The skeletal tail twitched around, resting on the ground for balence.

Indeed, it is, The Zoid snarled softly, bearing its teeth at his back. He didnt' lunge, not yet.

She looked up from her claws, tail twitching slightly. "Hello,"



The three felines stared at the Wolf, Omega snickered when the canine facefell. Alpha just gave him a "STFU" look.

Azule craned his neck around to stare at the golden Liger, seeming to blink. This is the first time I've seen this beast, actually. And the Brother Tigers here just noticed the thing this morning,

While he spoke to the Zero, Alpha and Omega were watching the Wolf.

Blade twitched his tail. Of all of the Ligers I chose, I had to get the one with the attitude. Leon rolled his eyes.

Welcome

Blade hopped out of the Zero's cockpit. On the ground he stealthily crept towards the place where Timber was standing with her massive canine Bio Zoid. He slicked his hair back before walking into the open and leaning against a rock, to observe. He'd let them make the first move. Doing recon was always good when faced with possible enemies like this.

He kept from gasping with effort at the site of the girl-turned-beast. What kind of creature had this kind of power? It was unnatural. Zoids and human's shoulding mix like that...

"Forgive me for intruding, miss- but I couldn't help but to take interest in yourself, that strange Zoid looming over us, and the group of Blade Liger AB Units." Each time a name was said- or creature pointed out, a finger was casually pointed to those beings. His eye wandered up to the skeletal creature, moving across its three heads, staring each one in the eye sockets. "A ravenous beast, this one looks like." The man's thumb gestured to the canine. "Something I'd like to see in action. I think he'd be something interesting to watch." No, this wasn't an indication of him wanting to battle it- he wasn't that stupid. But to see another fight it..yeah.

A hand was offered to the beast of a woman. "Forgive me for not introducing myself. I am Adauchi." His free hand raised to scratch his fluff of hair while that one eye smiled again. After their hands met- should they at all-, Adauchi bent his knees and pressed his feet firmer against the ground. With one good kick-off, he sailed up and forward through the air, performing a lazy yet impressive flip on the way over to the Zoid's middle head in hopes of landing on its snout.

Mangetsu sighed out of relief- at least these fierce kitties weren't hostile. Yet. Once comfortable enough, he lowered onto his stomach away from the others, stretching his frontal limbs out before him. The Whitz Wolf's tail twitched from behind- he wasn't all too trusting of them- even if they greeted him fairly decently. It's always best to keep one's guard up. Especially in such a situation. So what exactly is going on here?

She watched him with an almost uncaring expression. Almost. There were traces of interest there somewhere. "Ravenous doesn't even begin to describe him..." she said softly, though it was obvious that she was speaking to him.

The Gatekeeper hissed, bearing its teeth at the man as he looked at them. The jaws snapped shut once he'd turned back around, they continued to loom dangerously behind him.

The girl smirked slightly, staring for a few seconds. Slowly, as if she wasn't quite sure what she was doing, she raised the clawed skeletal hand to shake his. Surprisingly gently, concidering. "Tis a pleasure. I'm-" she stopped, slowly releasing his hand and staring off into space.

She snapped out of her little stare, lifting her head to watch him. "I would not do that if I were you,"

He did, infact, land on the Gatekeeper's snout. The reaction was immidiate. The two side heads snarled and sprung into action, carefully snapping at him so that they didn't catch the middle head in the crossfire.

She watched, boredly, almost. The skeletal twitched on the ground, and she turned to look right at the man who came from the Liger Zero. She didn't say anything, just stared streight at him.



Omega shrugged, turning his head to look back at what was going on below.

Well, we don't know specifics, Alpha started, his tail flicking absently, But this Zoid and its little army showed up earlyer this morning. The Bio Zoid was in rougher shape. Its healed since then,

Evil, wreched Zoid, Omega hissed, laying his head down on the ground and snapping his jaw.

Blade snarled. What does Leon think he's doing...Fool... His claws cut through the rock in which he stood. Blade then adressed the canine Zoid. To be frank...I don't have a clue...I get an evil vibe from this Bio thing...but I seems far to powerful to just attack rashly...


What needs to be done? Shall we strike...? I have a feeling that those Blade Ligers are still deadly, even without their pilots...so that'd be unwise. He hrumphed.

Leon twitched inwardly...now that he was spotted he'd need to make a move. He strode forward, more confident than he actually was.

"I happened to notice the...intriguing Zoid you have miss. It's a Bio Zoid, am I right?" He bowed. "The name's Leon, Leon Rechter. Thank Eve he'd stuffed the Guardian Force emblem inot his pocket before he'd ventured out of his Zoid.

Adauchi gave the girl down below a peace sign after her warning, then seemed to disappear between the deadly jaws of the two heads. Or rather, it appeared that he had been ripped in half- yet not a drop of blood had been spilled nor limb dropped to the ground. Instead, the man reappeared on the canine's back, upon one of the vertebrae in a crouching position. "My my. Fiesty, aren't we?" His one revealed eye smiled, then narrowed into a slit. "This one needs to be taught some manners it seems." Raising to his full height, the man hopped from one bone to the next, then kicked off of the one nearest the base of the neck.

He performed another frontal flip through the air, landing flawlessly on the ground infront of the woman-beast. "I don't believe I caught your name." Adauchi chuckled while scratching the side of his head. His other hand actually poked at the bone armor- the spike on her shoulder. "And where, may I ask, did you aquire this? It's looks quite good." The man's eye looked her up and down again, admiring the odd and twisted features. His gaze seemed to last longest on her rear- where the tail was. And not in a perverted way. "Most interesting.." Noticing the new arrival, a brow was cocked, eye moved back onto the woman.

So, it is one of those Bio Zoids, hmm? He seemed most interested now. "I haven't seen many of that breed around lately. It's as if they've vanished entirely. Nor have I ever witnessed such a monstrocity as this... For a better look, Mangetsu raised back onto his four paws and inched his way on closer to the tigers. His snout pointed over the cliff's ledge, pausing for a moment over the silver-haired man below, then moved across the others.

His head snapped to the golden Liger. Striking such a force would be suicide. Especially without my Upgrade equipped. With it, I'd be of more use. And besides- it hasn't provoked us. Why fight it? The Whitz Wolf gave a little snort. I'd rather not make an enemy today. Especially of such a monstrocity.

Experimentally, she leaned back on the tail, crossing her arms and watching Leon walk closer. "Yes. This is the Bio Cerberus, better known as the Gatekeeper," she gestured with a hand at the beast beside her.

The two jaws pulled away, looking to see if they'd gotten him. They roared in rage, snapping as he flew through the air, but not quite able to reach him. He seethed and hissed, but didn't attack once he'd reached the ground. It was glaring holes in the back of the mans head tho.

"I..." she thought hard, not noticing the strange stare her Zoid gave her. "...I can't remember, actually,"



Well, I don't enjoy sitting back and watching. But you are right. Fighting that thing would be madness, Azule scratched his claws on the ground, the blade on his back twitched ever so slightly.

....I wanna nuke it! Omega started to stand, but got smartly fwapped in the head by Alpha.

You will do no such thing, he forced his brothers head to the ground.

We continue watching, for now, Azule rumbled, nodding.

Blade nodded. Maybe waiting was a better idea. He mental relayed this message to Blade, who recorded it. He'd need ot make a report back at Guardian Force HQ.

"Bio...Cerberus..." muttered Leon slowly. "How'd you get it anyway?" He still had alot of questions. If there were demons like this running around, Planet Zi was in more danger than he first anticipated.

Bio Cerberus? He stroked his chin most curiously. It was amazing how even though he traveled the world, he was still encountering such fascinating creatures. What was even stranger, was the fact that his amazement never ceased- his curiosity was never satisfied, nor his thirst for adventure and danger. His black eye raised to the middle head, which curled into a ( ^ ) in a mocking sort of way. He could feel the beast's hostility towards him. Suppose not many didn't show fear to him.

"Can't remember your own name?" He returned to pacing around the beastly woman while stroking his chin again, as though trying to figure it out himself. While doing so, he kept watch over the skeletal mecha, humming softly to a risen suspicion. The armor upon the beast and girl matched- but it looked too organic to be a replica. Stopping his little stroll, Adauchi marched right up to the Bio Cerberus and folded his arms behind his back. "You wouldn't have anything to do with this, would you?" The man tilted his head to one side slightly.

Mangetsu sighed to himself over the Brastle Tiger's hot-headedness. Though I would like to witness your power over heat, now is not the time. Nor is it the place. He pointed with a paw to the humanoid figures. There are innocents down there. What if they got caught in the crossfire? The Whitz Wolf looked relieved to see the Rayse Tiger take control of the situation and chuckled inwardly to the smack. They had to be siblings of sorts.

Do you suppose they know we're here..?

She barely seemed to notice him walking around her. She was too busy staring off into space in thought to, really. "No, I can't remember. How strange,"

Its not really important, the Zoid said, shrugging its shoulders.

"Hm?" she looked at Leon, "I found it. Stole it, actually..." she paused, trying to think of how she knew that. There weren't really any details, she just knew/

The beastly Zoid stared at the man as if he thought he was crazy for being so brave. Nope, the Zoid rumbled.


They probabily do. Why they haven't done anything yet, I'm not sure, he scratched his claws on the ground. The two brother tigers stayed quiet, crouching down, but keeping their eyes up enough so that they could see.

I think a better question would be, what do we do if they decide to finally notice us, and do something about it?

Now this was getting wierd. Who had the time to create beasts like this? It was just too wierd.

"Hmm...Bio Cerberus...this doesn't add up. Think I'd better get back to HQ." He thought to himself. He snapped his fingers.

Blade said to the other onlookers. That's me, watch your backs and stay sharp! And the Lion bounded down the ravine towards his pilot.

Leon boarded quickly. "Sorry I can't chat longer, I've things to do, people ot save, ya know...it's what I do." Leon gestured to the Guardian Force emblem on his shoulder. "Well, Zya...good luck with that Zoid miss...you'll need it..." He added in an undertone. Blade turned and dashed back towards the cliff side, slightly to the left of the 3 Zoids, making sure he didn't blow their cover.

He grinned beneath the mask, giving the peace sign with his right hand at the same time. "Alright, that's cool. Thanks for answering me." His focus returned to the woman- most intensely this time. His suspicions had been confirmed, and his need to try and help her were beginning to develop. "Excuse me, miss? Would you mind taking a little walk with me? I just want to have a decent conversation is all- without any interruptions." Adauchi passed a glare to the newcommer- the man who kept foolishly questioning her relationship with the Bio Cerberus. As if any good answers would be given.

The Whitz Wolf shuffled around a bit, growing anxious. Oh, I don't like this. Not at all.. He didn't like knowing that at any time, those below them could strike. It was unnerving- especially since he knew he wouldn't stand a chance in his current form in a fight against the bunch. But he was no coward either- he'd stand his ground and do his best..but still, wouldn't prefer a confrontation. If this Bio thing was as beastly as declared, his guard would have to be constantly up.

There is a Gustav not too far off with my Upgrade inside. If I can get there in time.. His orange 'optics' moved to the left with his head, staring off to the horizon where the transport unit was. We'd stand a better chance. Especially since that form was made to combat the Bio breed..From what I understand. Mangetsu winced as the golden Liger Zero took off- heading down towards the others. Fool! He barked, jumping to face the remaining others. I'm going for the Gustav. If he looks like he's in trouble, do everything you can to distract our foes- this won't take long.

And with that, the Whitz Wolf bounded over the felines, entering a direct run the moment his paws struck the ground once again. A trail of dust and small rocks were kicked up into a wake behind him as he raced for the transport beyond.

The skeleton Zoid huffed darkly once the man's attention was turned away, eyes flashing dangerously for a second. The girl looked past Adauchi at the three headed Zoid, but shrugged a second later.

"Sure, alright," she said softly.

You two could stay here, if you want, the Gatekeeper stood, I have some business to take care of, it turned, and started towards the three felines.



Azule was quiet, scratching his claws on the ground. ....oh dear,

Lets go nuke it! Omega roared, and lept up from his crouch, and into the arena. Alpha stood up and roared, Moron! Omega, wait!

The Gatekeeper stopped, staring at Omega as he charged. The rogue Tiger, crouched into a flying leap at the skeleton Zoid, claws and teeth charged up with heat...

And the Gatekeeper's tail blade suddenly sliced right through the Zoid's head. Omega was thrown back in mid leap, a burning slice through his head. The Rayse Tiger roared in rage, charging for the Gatekeeper as well.

Azule stayed up at the top, watching and tapping his claws. He really didnt' want to get involved, but if that Zoid took out the Brastle Tiger that quickly, he just might have to step in.



The girl watched the battle, boredly almost. She looked back at Adauchi. "You were saying?"

Blade turned, the commotion attracting his attention. He watched in horror as the Brastle was struck down. Alpha...OMEGA! The Zero roared and charged the Bio Cerberus! FIEND, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! I will destroy you! He snarled. His front paws began to glow as the Strike Laser claw was charged, for all of the good it would do. Leon knew in an instant that this was foolish but hey, it was a fight, and he enjoyed good fights. It had also looked as Blade had made friends with the Brastle, Rayse and Murasame.

Blade's impact cannon blazed repeatedly, peppering the Gatekeeper with 208mmm slugs. LEAVE THEM ALONE! Roared the gold Liger Zero. He lunged at the Bio Zoid, raising bot hclwas for a double strike. TAKE THIS STRIKE LASER CLAW!

Adauchi stared at the Bio Cerberus, not at all liking the dark vibe the mecha gave off. And yet, he was enticed by it at the same time- almost drawn to the strange essence. Shaking his head, the man let his one black eye follow the canine as it moved off, heading towards the cliff. Inwardly, he winced, knowing well that his Zoid was up there as well. Or so he thought. But he also knew the Whitz Wolf could take care of himself- they had trained together for a long time and taught one another different survival techniques. Hopefully, they'd pay off.

When the mecha was gone, the silver-haired man gestured with a hand for the woman to follow him anyways. He didn't want to be within earshot of the beast- plus walking would be more comfortable than just staring one another down. "Forgive me in advance for what I'm about to discuss with you, miss." He sighed appologetically, having a feeling that this might not go as smoothy as originally intended. Yet, the woman seemed almost..how to put this...She didn't seem all too caring or attentive. Like her mind was always elsewhere, or no soul inhabited her body.

"You must realize what that thing is doing to you, don't you?" Adauchi almost whispered. He then gestured to the armor covering her hide. "This has to be his work. The material is organic- and it matches that Bio Cerebus's own perfectly. He's changing you. And I'm afraid he might be trying to take you over- use you like a puppet.."

Mangetsu had disappeared within a large metal box, attached to an extra long platform the Gustav dragged along behind it. The whir of mechanics sounded off, as did many thuds and clicks as the transaction continued in secrecy. Before long, one end popped open and dropped to the ground, creating a form of ramp out into the open. Though footsteps were evident through the ramp's shaking and thumps rattling the structure, nothing could be seen. Dust then began to rise one thud after another, raising to invisible steps and falling back to the land.

Up ahead, the Zoid stared at the new battle. A flicker of light occured within the air, and a second later a Sword Wolf was revealed. His orange optics seemed to narrow in their light, almost glaring a the Bio Cerebus beyond. His black paws raked the ground, the swords on his sides gleamed and shined under the sunlight. With a howl, he took off running up ahead, speed drastically increasing with each furious leap. While on the approach, his right sword raised vertically and dropped forward, forming into a sort of lance that stretched beyond his snout. I'm comming..just hold on a little longer..

The skeletal tail pushed her off where she'd been leaning on it. It coiled around her legs for a second before loosely hovering above the ground behind her. "Alright," she said, walking with him.

She tilted her head at him as he started to speak, eyes sharpening in a dangerous way as she listened. It disipeared after a second, "I don't think he would do something like that. He's..." she paused, staring up at the sky for a second. "That Zoid there is my only friend. He keeps me safe, and I do what he asks me to..."



The Gatekeeper spun around on a talon, his long skeletal tail catching Alpha and throwing him ito the Liger Zero's barrage. The shells hit the Rayse's armor, a few of them getting past to strike the Bio Zoid's armor, but only caused light damage.

Foolish little Zoid.

A blue shape suddenly lept over the Gatekeeper from behind, tackling Blade in mid leap with its own blazing golden claws. The viral Liger Zero roared, claws aiming for the other Zero's neck.

Alpha and Omega both started to stand, though Omega seemed to be having a harder time at it. The Rayse Tiger looked up... just in time to notice that the ten Blade Ligers had surrounded them.

Oh no,

All ten Zoids opened fire with their impact cannons, and the guns concealed in the back of the Attack Booster units.

The Murasame Liger stood, watching the battle below carefully. He heard the Wolf's howl, but didn't look. He knew.

I suppose it is time that I stepped in, Azule coiled his legs, taking a bounding leap off of the cliff and jumping into the fray.

Leon's eyes widened in shock. The blue Liger Zero caught Blade in the shoulder, knocking him off balance. Darn! Azule! Get back! He's too strong! He roared as he hit the ground. The Zero was back on his feet in a flash. With a roar he lunged forward and locked his claws with the other Liger.

Leon's eyes glanced around. He was surrounded, by 10 enemy Zoids. "Oh...boy... Blade what on Zi have you gotten us into this time?"

He shook his head and sighed heavily. So, this Zoid was shedding comfort upon a fragile mind it seemed- made her trust him in order to get what he wanted. A truly cunniving beast this one was- he'd have to get rid of it if he ever hoped seeing this woman free. Just as he was pondering such a thought, his eye wandered to the side, head then turned slightly so he'd see over his shoulder. His pupil dilated, feet locked in place seeing the Bio Cerberus on the attack. This is not good.. Adauchi continued to stare, left hand raising to grasp the headband that covered his other eye. Spotting his friend, he winced. Definitely not good..

"Safe? He's keeping you as a tool. I believe it's because of him that you don't remember your name- your identity. You're losing who you are and whatever you'd like to become. That thing has really bent you to his will, using cutting words and false comfort to get you on his side." The thought of it made his stomach churn. How something so vile would pick on such a woman of innocence. "And just look at what he's doing!" Adauchi forcefully grabbed her shoulders from behind, forcing both of them to turn and face the Bio Cerebus. "The Zoids can sense his real darkness. He's corrupt to the end. And so will you be, if you keep by his side.."

The Sword Wolf continued to pound the ground with his paws, speed reaching its maximum in no time. Up ahead, he was forced to watch in horror as the Zoids he spoke to were being thrashed- and now surrounded by a new threat. That's it! His left-mounted blade stretched outward to face horizontally, its body gleaming with pure elegance. I'm comming! He howled, optics burning with vengeance.

As he neared the group of Blade Liger AB's, his body dissolved away behind an Optical Stealth cloak, the cloud of dust behind him disappeared as he leapt from the ground. In that single bound, he passed through the barrier of felines, blades positioned to hack apart anything and everything he passed by on his way to the center. When his paws touched the ground again, they pressed down hard and pushed off once more, sending him right for the Bio Cerberus's chest. The forward-facing sword was just in alignment to jab into the glowing red Core at the chest, with enough momentum to really do some damage behind him.

She walked a few more steps before stopping, looking over her shoulder at him to see why he stopped. She listened for a second, "....well. That can't be. I've always been by his side, as far as I remember,"

She let herself be pulled around, and watched the battle boredly. "This reminds me," she said after a second, "Of last night. A Geno Breaker attacked us. We got rid of it though. And that girl that was piloting it...." she winced slightly, remembering the blood... that girl had seemed to familiar....



The blue Liger snarled as their claws locked together. His claws were still glowing with laser energy, so he shoved forward, trying to push the other Zoid over. His red eyes glared at the other Zoid's, and he suddenly lunged forward to bite down on the other Liger's face...

There was nothing but a cloud of dust as the Liger's paused in their assault, trying to see through the haze. A glowing shape suddenly lept out, coming down to bite a Blade Liger's face. There was a small explosion, both Zoids were thrown back slightly.

Alpha snarled, his armor riddled with holes. As the dust cleared, Omega was laying on the ground, spewing sparks out of the gaping wound in his head. The Rayse Tiger surged forward again, claws glowing as he lept at another Blade Liger. The rest of them closed in...

The thermal pannels on the Zoid's back opened, drawing in heat before beams of thermal energy arced up, and struck the ground all around. Some of the Blade Ligers were struck by the beams, their armor melting immidiately.

The thermal blast made a lot of light and it was because of that that the Gatekeeper saw the Wolf leap. He saw the shadow of the Zoid. He slid to the left, the sword sliced the air inches from the Bio's leg.

Close, but no cigar, as he turned to follow the Wolf's shadow, a blur suddenly shot over his head. The Bio reflexively ducked, but something embedded itself into the ground infront of him. One of his own shoulder spikes.

He snarled like a wild beast, turning to look at the Zoid who had done that. Azule was crouched nearbye, sword pointed forward at the Cerberus.



The girl's eyes widened, "Those Zoids have no reason to attack him. He hasn't done anything to them," she took a few steps forward. Her eyes narrowed, and she turned to glare at him. "Your Zoid is among them, isn't he?"

((Wow..this would make a sweet Anime Episode you know...))

Blade rolled over in mid air, his back legs kicking out at the Liger's stomach attempting to throw it fowarded over it's own body. Blade's back hit the ground and he rolled over and got to his feet. It turned quickly to face the Zero.

I don't have time to play with you... snarled Blade as he fired the impact cannons. The enemy Zero's claws had left a slash in the shape of an X over his left optic.

Leon searched the battlefield quickly. "This is Gold Lion, I repeat, Gold Lion calling HQ. I've cornered the Bio Cerberus, requesting backup! I repeat requesting backup!" Leon called into his comm unit. He didn't have time to wait. He dashed for the Gatekeeper through the gap. There was a bellow from a cliff above. The Zero stopped dead as a white antlered Zoid leapt from the cliff a pointy lance protruding from it's side. It landed directly infront oof a Blade Liger and thrust it's Lance forward.

Having some trouble? The Lancetag chuckled. Young man, if you want to fight a Bio Zoid like this one, you'll need my help. Call me Spike. He charged the Bio Ceberus. Time to put an end to your evil game Gatekeeper!

Leon quickly shook his head to clear it, before charging ot the Rayse Tiger's side.

The man shook his head again, growing rather impatient and weary considering how distracted he was becomming with the battle before him. "The reason you think you've been with him always is because he's erasing your memory. Bio Zoids themselves have abilities that haven't even been discovered yet. And those that have still require much further investigation. Quite frankly, I wouldn't put it past him to do such a thing. Emptying your mind is a much better vessel for his dark deeds." His fingers wrapped firmer upon the headband, which was lifted but an inch to reveal the lower half of a scar.

"Indeed, he is.." Adauchi sighed, letting his hand drop back to the side and the headband to slip down again. "But he's fighting to protect the others. It's his way. He's too just for his own good, and I appologize for it.." His glare suddenly hardened and became more serious than ever. "But I must help him. And by doing so, I'll be helping you out too." His right eye closed, hand raised to the band, which was suddenly jerked up. His left eye had a nice scar running down it, and when it opened, revealed a red iris. Not only that, but there were black swirl markings within the red, giving an almost demonic or unnatural look.

"It's time to give my Zoidian side a workout..If only I was a full-blood.." He shook his head and placed his gloved hands together, making a variety of signs between them. A few seconds later, he became devoured in a burst of smoke, which occured a second time elsewhere. Where, exactly? Inside a Zoid's cockpit, which he quickly fastened into.

Well it's about time! Mangetsu barked, digging his paws downward to skid. While doing so, a hind leg pushed out so he'd spin a full 180 degrees to reface the Bio Cerberus. Raising to his full height, the cloak deactivated itself, revealing the Sword Wolf in all his glory again. His optics burned brighter than normal- their orange color now red with matching black symbols. Stop this senseless fighting! "And release the girl!" They cried out together. Or else! "Or else!"

Her glare disipeared as she listened to him, not saying a word till he disipeared. She stared at where he had just been, slowly turning to look back at the battle. "Those Zoids have no reason to attack him," she repeated.

The Gatekeeper snarled, snapping its jaws at the Murasame Liger. Azule snarled back, the two Zoids started to circle eachother, waiting for the other to make a move. The charging Lancetag caught their attention, and the Bio jumped streight up to avoid the charge.

He landed with percision behind the girl, who froze upon seeing the three metal zi equipped Zoids staring at them.

I agree! the Zoid roared, Let us... stop the fighting. he grinned, curling his golden claws around the girl so that she was out of sight. You all started it, after all, he drew his claws closer, up to his chest. Attacking me senselessly. But I'll tell you what, the Zoid suddenly stood, the hatch in the Zoid's chest could be seen snapping shut. I'll give you all a break, there was a pause.

Then, the Bio Cerberus was suddenly on fire. The Charger System suddenly kicked on, sending red flares of light into the air to form the Zoid's ears and tailblade, the core became alight with fire as well.

Run. Run, as fast as you can,

Never! Azule roared, charging forward. The Gatekeeper hissed, dodging to the side of the charge. When the Murasame blade swong to still try and catch the skeletal Zoid, the middle head's mouth suddenly opened, a cannonbarrel extending there. There was no charge, a small beam of red light suddenly shot out, severing the hilt of the blade and sending it flying.

Azule landed and skidded back to face the Zoid, but he didn't realize his blade was gone right away. The silver sword spun in the air, coming down after a second. The middle head caught it, grinning in its creepy way as it watched the Murasame Liger realize what had happened. No longer seeing that Zoid as a threat, it turned back towards the Lancetag and the Sword Wolf.

You can run, or you can die. Your choice. Now... it took the blade in one of the side heads, pointing it forward, Who's next?



The midnight blue Liger landed on his back, rolling till he was on his stomach and pushing himself up. The Zoid took the few shots to the face, shaking his head as he watched the other Zero run away. The Liger turned, and ran over to help the Blade Liger with the Rayse Tiger.

Alpha was in the process of charging another Blade Liger when the Liger Zero tackled him in the side, slashing ferally with glowing claws. The Rayse Tiger finally fell, near where the Brastle Tiger had fallen earlyer. The remaining Liger Zoids turned to look at the golden Liger Zero, turning till they were all facing him. All the Zoids suddenly let loose with every single forward facing weapon they had...

Blade stopped dead. Darn....get out..now! "But Blade..." No buts...GO!

The Zero opened the cockpit and the Zoidian jumped out jus tin time. purple beams of energy struck Blade from all angles."BLADE!" cried Leon. The gold Liger Zero toppled over, a loud roar issued from it's jaws as the Zero was defeated.

The lanctag lowered it's antlered head and opened it's cockpit without a word. I'll kill you....I'll destroy you all! Leon shouted. The Lancetag dashed forward. The lance thrust out at the middle head, aiming to knock the blade away, hopefully to rearm the Murasame Liger. Just as quickly the Zoid retreated.

Spike struck again at the left head this time. "I will crush you...for Blade's sake...."

Adauchi kept his red eye focused- not on the Bio Cerberus, but rather the woman he had prematurely left. He was genuinely worried about her and was determined to make sure she'd be free from the beast's clutches. Someday. Right now, the monster had the advantage- the man had left his position foolishly in order to protect his friend. Which, now that he thought of it, was another idiotic move. He could have slapped himself for it, had his hands not been so tight on the controls, which shook with burning fury. It only grew the closer the three-headed creature inched his way to the girl, whom he continued to watch perfectly, as though he could see through the claw.

"Leave her alone.." His voice grew more stern and serious, deep and dark at the same time. It was hissed with a warning tone, to let the other know his future intentions should his words not be heeded. When the woman was drawn into the chest, Adauchi leaned forward inside the cockpit, his other eye opening. "Let. Her. Go." Tension was building. His heart was racing faster. Blood actually felt as though it was comming to a boil inside his veins. "You have no right controlling her!"

When the flames suddenly sprang to life, the Sword Wolf howled out and flexed his paws, while the boosters on his rear began to rev. "We will not run!" We will fight to the end! "For her freedom!"To end your tyranny of darkness! The canine's mouth widened, teeth took on a glow of white while strands of electricity dripped off from them like saliva. He charged forward, racing for the middle head that held the blade, which he aimed to snap his jaws around. The electrical current, he planned, would be transfered through the blade and into the Bio Cerberus itself, through the Electron Bite Fang feature, which packed quite a punch.

His optics flashed, sighting the Lancestag charging forward. Mangetsu was forced to release his grip and discharge the electricity while leaping back and out of the way- narrowly. Growling, the Sword Wolf crouched down low and backed up step by step, eyes never leaving the skeletal beast.

The middle head, which wasn't holding the blade anymore since it had been passed to a side head, snarled and ducked to one side of the Lancetag's charge. The blade parried the lance away as the Zoid spun on its talons. While the Wolf caught the blade in its teeth, unfortunately for it, that was the head that held the electrical blast. The voltage was returned in double.

Azlue lept at the Gatekeeper's backside, but the three headed Zoid saw it coming. It fired its burning jets, leaping over the Lancetag and Sword Wolf and flipping in the air to face them. The rest of the Blade Ligers and the single Liger Zero stepped up to flank him.

Fire,

Azule's eyes seemed to widen, and he lept infront of the Lancetag and Sword Wolf. The spikes on the Zoid's face fanned out, and a shield activated. The attack boosters of the Blade Ligers flipped forward, and all the Zoids opened fire with their weapons.

The Gatekeeper laughed, passing the blade over to the Liger Zero, who held it in his teeth. You see, foolish humans. This girl is far smarter then you all will ever be. She has aligned herself with me. Sold her soul for power and protection. I'm no tyrant. I have no want to rule the world. I just want to have some fun, destroy some stuff. Not rule, takes too much, the other Zoids continued his assault as he spoke.

Now, I'm giving you one more chance. Run,

"Why run...you've destroyed my partner...my friend...for that...I will destroy you. He opened a line to Mangestu. "I'd like to thank you properly, Sword Wolf pilot. I am Leon Rechter of the Guardian Force." He said quickly. Spike snorted. Don't talk now, just concentrate on staying alive.

The Lancetag was about to strike again when he Murasame blocked the oncoming attacks with his shield. Destruction is harmful. We cannot allow you to use us and our companions as minions or slaves. His first attack had been foiled but he wouldn't allow himself to fail again.

He'd need a plan. He got one quickyl and relayed it to Leon, who agreed. The Quad impact cannon blasted at the nearest Blade Liger. The attack continued at the cliff side. Soon a rumbling sound villed the valley as rocks broke from their original positions and hurtled down towards the battle.

He leappt from his cover onto a nearby ledge, away from the falling rocks. A gold blur streaked past him but Leon didn't notcied, he was intently staring at the Bio Cerberus' white skeletal form.

Mangetsu shrilled through clenched teeth as his current of electricity was negated, only to be overpowered by a second surge that raced through his own teeth and coiled around his head. The moment he released, his chin hit the ground hard, legs had slipped beneath him from a short-circuited malfunction, and a cloud of dust raised up around his fallen form. Sneering, the Sword Wolf forced himself back upright, red optics burned brighter and the markings within them seemed to pulse. I told you, I will not run! Not until I end your terror! He howled, while taking several cautious steps back. While doing so, his image slowly began to fade beneath the cover of his Optical Stealth unit. Before long, he had disappeared.

By the time the Blade Liger ABs had opened fire on the others, he had already moved his way out of their direct range and more to the Bio Cerberus's left side (his right). Charing forward (still to the left), Mangetsu used the terrain to pick up speed, being as cautious as he could not to kick up too much dust to give away his position. Distancing himself to the rear of the other canine, he used the free range to make a large turn around (to face the Bio's rear directly) and picked up the pace. The faster he ran, the longer his strides were, and less times his paws hit the ground.

Keeping the right blade extended directly forward, the left was retracted back to his side. However, it wound up flaring back out, hacking and slashing through some falling rocks that descended on the account of the landslide. Everything he didn't strike was either evaded by his pure speed, or bounced out of the way. The hidden Sword Wolf attempted to kick off the ground and onto the Bio Cerberus's back, from where he'd charge forward and try to ram said sword into the backside of the middle head's skull.

While this was going on, Adauchi was doing his best not to become distracted by the communication line. "No need to thank me. I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing it for the girl." He replied in an almost cold manner. If only there was a way I could make her see..

Azule's shield shattered, and he took a few shots before the Zoids stopped. The Cerberus snarled, getting more annoyed by the second. Stupid humans. I give you a chance and you blow it, he growled.

The Liger's shield flickered on, taking the shots till they weren't aimed at him anymore. The shield clicked off, and the Zoids looked over their shoulder at what was happening.

Azule stared, but quickly lept to follow the Lancetag. He made it to the same ledge, This is starting to seem pointless...

Move! the three headed Zoid roared. The Zoids charged away from the rockslide, but the Blade Ligers turned to face the falling rocks. Their shields all clicked on, the rocks bounced and stopped against the glowing pink barriers. The Cerberus had no idea what had happened to the wolf, probabily caught in the rockslide or something. The two brother tigers were now buried under the rock, even more damaged then before.

The group growled up at the Lancetag and the Murasame, but the Gatekeeper started looking around for the Wolf now, trying to see where it had gone. Since he had moved, and was now facing the rocks, the Wolf's blade slashed right into his face, cleanly cutting it right down the center, up to the eyes.

The girl and the Zoid howled in pain, stumbling back. The two side heads curled inwards to shield the middle head from any more attacks, while the girl in the cockpit whined softly from the pain.

Spike dashed across the ledge. Yes...I agree...but this menace needs to be stopped. The Lancetag said to the Murasame. Can't you call your Sword back? Spike asked. He steadied himself, crouched and leapt into the air just as the Sword Wolf struck. The Lancetag landed inches from the Gatekeeper's side and drove the Lance forwarding.

"The girl....he's holding her mind hostage isn't he?" Leon said softly more to himself than his ally, ignoring the coldness in the Sword Wolf pilot's voice.

Spike bellowed and drove the lance further forward. Today, I end it.

Meanwhile, that golden blur, let out a roar before rushing past the lead Liger Zero, silver claws now burning with a Strike Laser claw. Leon turned his head. BLADE! Your alive!

The batter Liger Zero skidded around to face the blue enemy Liger and roared. It'll take more than them to keep me down. Sir Lancetag...thank you for keeping my pilot. Leon, stay with Spike for the time being. His Metal Zi weapons are more effective than my weapons.

Ripping the left sword up to be completely vertical, Mangetsu wound up flying right off the Bio Cerberus's head and onto the ground below. His landing caused a surge of dust to uprise, but he quickly caught himself on the rebound and continued his high-speed run. This time, moving around was a lot more choppy- there were boulders that he needed to weave around and jump over, which hindered his speed a bit. The Sword Wolf wound up climbing upon the shallow pile nearest the skeletal canine, which he stealthily leapt off of.

While gliding through the air, his body's weight was shifted to the side, left sword exchanged for the right that stretched out horizontally. At the last second, the boosters on his rear flared up, shooting out three pressurized (and visible) flames of white that propelled him past the left head of his foe's. His sword was in perfect alignment to cut through the exposed neck (seeing as it was craned to protect the middle head), due to the angling. Landing again, rather than to sheath the weapon, he continued his run forward, sword now begging to cut through the left front and rear legs.

"Not only her mind, but body as well. He's completely taking over her life.." Adauchi hissed through clenched teeth. Blood was beginning to run from his left eye- the red eye- on the account he was straining himself. For it represented his Ancient Zoidian powers, which helped him out in this fight much- without it, he surely would have missed every strike against such a formidable foe. "And what's worse, she thinks us the enemy. She cannot see what harm he is doing to her. All she cares about is his safety. So destroying him is for her own good. Though..I do worry about the consequences.."

Since the interface wires weren't as constricting as they used to be, her hands were clutching her nose. She knew that she hadn't literally had her face cut in half, but it sure hurt like it did. Though a tear or two leaked from her eyes from the pain, she glared hatefully up at the screen. Searching as hard as she could for the Sword Wolf.

No, he severed the hilt of the sword, nothing to call it back to, the Liger seemed to mumble. He coiled his legs and lept after the Lancetag did.

The Gatekeeper was forced to snap out of it, seeing the Lancetag land. It rounded on the moose Zoid, burning with more rage then it ever had. "You will end nothing!" the two roared together. It lept forward, its golden teeth energizing with red energy as it bit at the Lancetag's chest and legs.

Azule landed, and lept forward...

"And you!"

Suddenly rounding on the leaping Liger, it swong all three heads. Azule was caught in the chest, and sent flying. He hit the boulders and slid down, standing again. The Bio Cerberus was shaking with rage, and surged forward. The middle head, despite the damage, gaped its mouth open. The cannon barrel extended there, and without warning... it fired. The small red beam of light carved through the Murasame's armor as if it was made of tin foil.

"All of you! You attack me for no reason, so you shall get what you diserve!" they roared with rage, red energy still dripping from the beast's jaws.


The blue Zero's teeth chomped down harder on the sword, and it swong it at the golden Liger with all of its might. The slash was aimed to knock the other Zoid away, and hopefully slice it right in half.


The rocks shifted under the Wolf's paws, and both the Zoid and pilot heard the slight noise. They rounded on the sound, the cannon barrel of the middle head still extended. It shifted to the side, the sword sliced a shallow groove in the side head, neck, and legs. The Cerberus whipped around, firing another beam at the Wolf's backside.

Spike pivoted the lance straight up and attempted to impale the middle head as it bit forward. Retracting it and jumping back, the moose skidded so that it's side faced the Bio canine. The Rolling Spiek Shield began to spin, hopefully closing a head and attempting to pull it off with the moment of the spinning shield.

Deactivating the Shield's spinning, the Lancetag dashed over the Sword Wolf's side, jumping over the beam as it passed, grazing the understide a bit."Okay....Spike we gotta rethink our strategy...it's repelling all of our attacks. What if we attacked together?" This last question was directed at the Sword Wolf pilot.

"It's strength comes from the girl...if the strain from maintaining the three heads is great, she might collapse and render the Zoid useless." He said. The Lance tag, charged again, head low, lance pointed forwad. If nothing he would provide a distraction.

Blade faired a little better. The Zero's claws hit the Murasame Sword, and while the body wasn't cut, the Liger just dinged of the metal Zi. At the same tiem he struck out at the face of the other Zoid with the remainng claw, before skidding ot a spot facing the enemy's flank and firing the impact cannon, before bounding up the rocky slopes towards Mangetsu and Spike.

((...Jerao. The beam would go THROUGH the Lancetag, and the Wolf too. Its like a condensed CPC, all the destruction of it but fit into a tiny little beam))

((Its all good. Thought I said before that it was like a cutting laser tho...*shrug*))

((You know...I almost feel sorroy for the Bio Cerberus....tis putting up quite the fight though. *pokes Seij* You're like...good withthat Sword Wolf already, I is surprised...and impressed.))

"Impossible.." His eyes widened with fright, for they were glaring over his shoulder and to the oncomming beam. He jerked on the controls with all his might, forcing the boosters' alignment to shift to the side. The barrels sparked from strain, rims began to melt from the adjacent flames flowing over them. In mid-leap, the Sword Wolf propelled itself to the side, but couldn't do it fast enough. The Optical Stealth unit dropped as the beam cut across the back- but couldn't slice fully through on the account of the movement- but did leave behind a deep diagonal groove stretching from the middle of the back all the way through the left side.

Adauchi roared out as his partner hit the ground on all fours, but wound up collapsing onto his stomach and skidding ahead several meters. By the time he stopped, a mound of dirt had collected at his snout, and his hide was sparking perfusely. A loud ringing sounded in the cockpit, the visual screen flickered on and off. Warning signs flashed all around him- alarming the man to what severe damage had been dealt. The attack had just missed striking the side of his partner's Core- which was bared at the left side through the deep gauge. Systems were shutting down- weapons had all frozen. A Weapons System Freeze commenced.

Wiping the blood from his red eye, Adauchi was forced to close it and move the headband back over it diagonally. His head hurt. Eye was strained. Body energy very weak to the point he was reaching unconsciousness. "Guess we overdid it..huh?" He was too weak to laugh, so instead he patted the controls. Mangetsu let out a little howl- he was in great pain and didn't want to budge an inch. The man looked through what section of screen remained and at the Bio Cerberus. "We have to help her.."

The Sword Wolf growled at the Lancestag and flashed his now normal orange optics.

The Bio ducked low under the Lancetag's charge, waiting till the other Zoid was right on top of them before springing. It lept forward, snapping the side heads at the Zoid's legs while the middle head bit at the Moose's neck.

It put a claw up, and pushed off of the Lancetag's head, regardless of what damage it might have done, and landed a little ways away from both Zoids.


The Zero pulled his head back, leaping away from the other Zoid to avoid the shots. He bounded after the other Zoid, the other Blade Ligers ran with him.


The small army of Zoids came up behind the Bio Cerberus, and readied their weapons.

"Now. I want you two to run away. And not look back. Or I swear to Eve, I'll smite you both," the two growled, the energy ears and tail flaring dangerously.

"Yeah, like I'm scared of you." Leon snapped. Spike ducked just in time to avoid being bitten but one of the fangs shredded a front leg badly, to the point where it had begun to spark. The Lancetag did a massive faceplant when it was stepped on

"Hmm...darn it...we might have to fall back." He spoke ot the Sword Wolf pilot privately The wolf Zoid was badly damaged. "C'mon, we can't help the girl if we die here can we? Blade go on ahead, We'll catch up."

The Liger Zero quickly dashed over to Alpha, Omega and Azule, nudging them with his snout. C'mon you all, can you stand?

Adauchi sneered, rather irritated in his current position. As much as he wanted to keep on fighting, it wasn't possible in the least. Heck- he'd be lucky to even walk out of this one let alone run. "This isn't over, beast. That girl will be freed from you. I sware it." Big words for a man on the brink of unconsciousness. It was very hard and painful for him to reach up as he was, fingertips stretching to push a button upon the ceiling. Doing so caused the button to flash red on and off, transmitting a message to the Gustav transport nearby. Smirking under his mask, the man's arm suddenly dropped limply to his side, head sagged onto a shoulder as everything went black.

Receiving the transmission, the Gustav began rolling on over across the rigid terrain. It was a slow thing, but moved rather quickly now that it had detached the last platform that trailed behind it. Upon reaching the Sword Wolf's fallen form, a series of mechanical arms and lifts attached to the damaged hide carefully, as not to cause further injury. Before too long, the canine was lifted onto the remaining platform. Unfortunately..with no pilot to give out coordinates, the transport was stuck in the middle of the valley with no knowledge of where to go. It was programmed to retrieve and not much else- that's what you get for renting a transport.

The two seemed to calm down consideribly when all the fighting stopped, the 'big and burly' posture that it had taken seemed to deflate. It gave an irritated rumble, turning away from the two and stalking towards the Murasame Liger.

No, I can't. The stabilizers were damaged in the fall, Azule rumbled, trying to stand with the two legs that still worked. There was a smoking hole streight through his body, from the front right shoulder back to the left hip. It'd just barely missed his core. The two Tigers are buried under the rocks, I think,

"Get away from them!" they roared as they approached, snapping its golden teeth at the Zero. The Gatekeeper walked over to the Murasame, putting its paw on his body and leaning low over the Murasame's head.

"These three foolish Zoids... belong to us now,"

Blade snarled. "Leave him... We'll save him...with the girl..." Leon said sadly. The Liger Zero growled at the Bio Cerberus then turned and ran. The Lancetag charged after, turning it's head to see if the Sword Wolf would join it.

"Let's regroup, repair and go in for another attack!" Leon urged.

Hokay, since it was obvious that the Gustav wasn't going to be given directions, the transport unit's A.I kicked in. It was one of those emergency unit things, that magically appeared in the systems. The mecha beeped and hummed as its radar began to spin, mapping out the current terrain and calculating the fastest route back to its shop. Once acquiring such information, it began rolling off at top speed- not a very impressive rate, but good enough. Besides, it wasn't like the Sword Wolf was going anywhere..

The Gatekeeper glared daggers at the two as they made their leave, hissing a dark note as it leaned low over the Murasame's cockpit. A hatch opened up in the Zoid's chest... and a bunch of Organoidish wires shot out and into the Murasame's cockpit. Almost like... a mane of snakes...
