General Information
We are a six year old text based Zoids RPG that strongly focuses on descriptive roleplaying. It is set nearly six years after the end of the Zoids Chaotic Century anime. We encourage organized character driven plots between members that revolve around aspects of the Zoids world.

Our member base is friendly, and we always welcome new people with open arms. Our roleplay level is between intermediate and advanced, but with the occasional exceptions. We do offer critique on writing and other aspects for people who are interested in enhancing their skills (Such as writing, story telling, and character development) in specific areas.

This website was first born in March 2003 as an Avid Gamers community. The website grew and grew, but went through a little slump in the fall/winter of 2003 because the AG servers were so unstable. Due to this and lack of image hosting, Koneko bought sever space from MySiteSpace and slowly revived the RPG again.

Ever since then, GZ has been going at a steady pace. Even though the Zoids fandom is essentially dead in the United States, GZ is one of the few RPGs that continues to thrive on the internet. We offer a hobby to anyone who loves Zoids and can write, and we hope for many more years to come!

Activity Philosophy
GZ has a "quality over quantity" philosophy determining who is let into the RPG, and how long inactive accounts are left on the server. People who demonstrate a sufficient ability to write are accepted and have their accounts set up. If accounts become inactive over time, or are never logged in to, they are deleted. Often times accounts that have never been logged in to are deleted after three months. Accounts that have been logged in to and played on, but then are abandoned are deleted after about six months. Because of this, only active members are kept on the boards, and the website continues to thrive. Our member count rarely goes over 100, but active roleplays are going on in every other board every day.
