Site-Wide Plot/Event/Fun Thing!

So, here we go!

Here's how it's going to work, if nobody read what I said in the other thread.

I'm going to post two topics in the In-Character News thing... prolly tomorrow at some point. They'll have... instructions, basically, on the beginning.

This plot will be very non-rigid. As in, you guys will be able to choose your own path on this. All I have is the beginning, and a vague idea of the end. It's up to you guys to connect the two. If not, though, I do have vague bits I could throw at you to help you along.

For the first part of the first RP, I want to keep a posting order, just to see how it works. (Yeah, ignore this strike thru bit. Explained why below.) When I say so, then anyone can post in any order. But only one post per 'round', and you'll see why when ya get there.

At least give someone 5-7 days to post before skipping over them. If ya get skipped over, you can join back in if you want to.

This will not die, as long as I have at least one person posting with me.

Just to keep things simple and keep me from overloading my brain, only one character/Zoid/Organoid for each 'side'.

I have no idea if there's going to be a reward beyond the finished RP reward. This will not be graded. You guys'll get something if you get through to the end, at least. I'll make it worth it.

This will be multiple RPs long. I have no idea how many at this point, since it kinda depends on you guys. I think at least two, at the very least. Again, depends on what you guys do.


A lot of this is experimentation and trial and error. We tried a site wide plot years and years ago and it kinda failed. I'm seeing if it can be done with this place, because I've seen it done other places.

When I put the news topics up, whoever wants to start the board can start it. I'll wait a few days, and if it's been 5 days without a new post, then I'll post and we'll get started.

I'm gonna be sending out an email to all the registered members at some point today, to try and get some of them back. If any of you guys know anybody else on here who hasn't shown up in a while, try to get 'em back?

'cause I'm completely not sure what I'm gonna put in said mass email and the thought kinda makes me nervous. ._. *shrug*

Also, I need to figure out how to do it. I know there's a way, but I don't know what it is. Hurr.

In all honesty, I'm thinking about roleplaying Mischief and only Mischief. Not really sure why.

It'd be cool to see old members come back because of it. I might not have been around long, but it'd still be nice.

I can bring Ephriam if you guys are still open for taking people. He might not have a very good zoid right now but he has Guts Courage and is a friend of Justice! If you guys arn't taking people I guess Ill just have to hope that it goes well and spawns another one later.

If you're the first one there (OOC) then it'd make sense that you'd be the first one there In Character too.

By the way, how I said above to keep a post order? Let's just forget about that. I realized when I was working on this that it won't work prolly.

So, if you get there and someone else gets there, and you guys wanna talk for a few rounds? Go for it. Just exercise common sense and common courtesy when dealing with your fellow players. (And if you're known for being a spam poster, I will deduct your post count for spamming, so watch yourself.)

There are two sides.

You may use two characters. One character/Organoid/Zoid on one side, one character/Organoid/Zoid on the other. But not two of each on the same side. (Ya can't have one character on one side with two Zoids/Organoids, and have the other character with no Zoids/Organoids. Or both characters and their lot on the same side.)

Heyheyhey. I has a question. Because I don't know the innards of this, it's intriguing that I don't know the details and kinda exciting.

I wanna know if there might be room to drop in at a later RP? Or if we wanna get involved, do we HAVE to get involved in the first RP to be part of the plot?

It kinda depends on how everyone directs it? Like, where it goes and what it does and how things play out. So... there might be an opportunity to come in later, and there might not be?
