It started as just a fissure in one farmer's field, and nobody knew where it had suddenly come from. It seemed harmless, so nothing was done about it. It was just a hole in the ground, right?

One day, that hole suddenly spewed rocks and hot ash into the air, followed shortly by lava and more ash. The ground heaved and split open, shaking the city.

Of course, nobody was going to stick around for this. The volcano grew quickly, forcing everyone who wanted to live out of the town. Most of them fled the continent somehow or another, but we'll get to that soon.

Either way, the whole area quickly got swallowed up by lava, ash, and rocks. There was nothing anyone could do to stop or change what Mother Nature wanted to happen.

The city of Toral was no more.
