Description: closed~Tamrin, Megara, Thomas, Clint

Fueur Yajumaru - January 1, 2008 01:51 AM (GMT)
Fueur yawned, stretched, and looked idley around the valley. There were a few people who had gathered there, and they brought their partners. The zoids, varying in size and class, were scattered here and there among the people and were happily chatting above their heads. The (much fewer) organoids were dispersed throughout the crowd, but some made conversation with each other. It was not everyday things like this happened, after all. Fueur turned. Even Daum was engaged in what seemed to be an exciting conversation with a Blade Liger. The raptor was bouncing up and down.

Smiling, Fueur thought how Daum had to get out more this was good for him. Anyway, the people who organized this event had done a great job in choosing the place- it was beautiful. And a good number of people came, too. It made Fueur happy to see people joined together for a cau-

"Fueur? Hey, Fueur?"

A certain 14 year old tugged on his shirt impatiently. Looking down, Fueur noticed she had been doing so for a minute. "Yeah?"

"Why are we here? You haven't told me anything yet." Her annoyence showed clearly. First dragging her here for no reason, now this daydreaming!

Fueur grinned apologetically. "Sorry. Um... Basically, some zoids, pilots, and 'noids have gone missing for a while. This is a search thing someone organized to look for them. That's it in a nutshell..."

Sara's face relaxed into a smile. "That's nice of them to do. I hope I can be of help with Maer and all." She nodded once, then ran off to play with the organoids.

"Fueur! Fueur!" Daum yelled, and Fueur spun around in alarm.

"You can charge an iPod with Gatorade and an onion!!!"

"Wonderful!" Fueur called back sarcastically.

"Hey, Fueur! I didn't know you were here!" Panic Omet's voice came over his Trinity Liger EV's speakers. She stepped close, then lowered her head, and Panic soon jumped down from the cockpit. "Anything happen so far?"

Fueur shrugged. "I think they're about to start." He looked over were an officially-dressed lady prepared a speaker.

Further away, a white-haired eighteen-year old sat boredly on a Toorima Shark. He was watching Fueur, Panic, and Sara. Though he lived with them in the same base, he didn't bother to go over and make conversation. Actually, most zoids and people kept away from his with his Toorima Shark and his completely-white eyes.

Tamrin - January 1, 2008 11:41 PM (GMT)
"Why'd we get stuck with this job anyway? We should be out there catching bad guys, not searching for some lost kids." Waddoff complained to his Rayse Tiger as they arrived in the valley to where the search party seemed to be gathering.

He yawned and slumped bored on the controls. The sun reflected off the Rayse Tigers' highly polished armor, and the hula girl toy on the dash board rocked from side to side with every step the Rayse took.
Waddoff moved the Zoid along side the others and popped the canopy, he gazed down at the other search party members.

"I wish they'd at least sent another member along with me, I don't recognise any of these faces." He said to himself as he leaped from the cockpit and joined the group, waiting for the next orders.

Megara Talenaria - January 2, 2008 12:26 AM (GMT)
Megara, the shadow fox sitting at the edge of the crowd asked the woman standing shyly at his front feet. Of all the potential piloting missions you had to pick, why did you have to pick the one where we don't know what we're up against?

"Well..." Megara muttered shyly, stroking a stray tress of gold-orange hair behind one of her ears. "It didn't look like a lot of people had volunteered, and they could use all the help they can get."

I implore your pardon, but with your poor combat skills, you're likely going to need to be saved, as well, the shadow fox replied.

"We've got some extra help, though," Megara stated as she pointed up at the Buster Eagle circling impatiently overhead.

Oh yes, like that giant peacock's gonna be of much help.

"Now Artemis," Megara began, but had to pause as the Buster Eagle in question swooped down to give the Shadow Fox a sharp peck on the head. She continued, "Really, what do you have against him?"

His entire concept! Artemis whispered to her as he crouched down slightly. I mean, an organoid I can understand, but zoids were never meant to fuse with each other!

"He can't help what he is," Megara reminded him as she patted his foot. "And besides, you have to admit that being able to fly will probably come in handy."

Artemis conceded with a sigh, but only because he remembered that he had a more pressing argument to make. Do you really think it's a good idea to participate in this mission? We don't know how many or what kind of zoids wait for us.

"Or even if there are any," Megara countered, though she sounded quite unsure. She paused to seriously deliberate on the matter, then shrugged her shoulders and said, "It can't hurt to try to help."

Artemis made a sound that was half-rumble half-squeak; he wasn't too sure about this.
'It's her decision,' he looked up at the Buster Eagle circling in the sky, 'You'd better try your hardest, if worse comes to worse.'

"Hey Artemis."

Yes, Meg?

"I'm gonna see what's going on over there; someone just found out you could charge an iPod with Gatorade and and onion."

Don't let anyone step on you! Artemis called after her, but quickly shouted up at the Buster Eagle while rubbing his head, Will you cut that out?!!

Megara looked back at her two zoids, and chuckled to herself. 'Maybe if I leave them alone, they'll learn to get along...'

((And it's crumtastic, anyway. D: Man, I'm rusty. *attempts to kick self into drawing a picture of her so people know what she looks like* I can't describe her new outfit to save my life, so I've decided to draw it. XPPPP ))

Thomas Jensen - January 2, 2008 02:15 AM (GMT)
"Remind me again why he had to come with us?" Thomas asked his Lighting Saix partner obviously annoyed. "Well, Jacob is still a little out of it so he couldn't come and Luciana didn't want us trying do this mission on our own." The Zoid calmly replied. The he in question was their friend Luciana's organoid Takine. "I can not believe she demanded we take him. I mean we can handle things on our own." Thomas sighed realizing that complaining was going to change the situation. He didn't think they needed to Takine but he was there with them any way.

The Organoid in question was speaking with the a group of other 'noids trying to enjoy himself. He didn't see others of his kind very often so this was a rare treat, but he had gone over to speak for another purpose. So he couldn't let himself get lost in the conversation. After about ten minutes of talking he walked back over to Saix and Thomas. "So did you find out anything?" The Organoid scratched his chin for a second then said. "Learned about a nice trick you can do with gatorade and onion but nothing about the mission. No one seems to know much about what's going on. There's no way to know if the Bringers of Chaos are involved." Thomas sighed again and shook his head as he popped open the canopy. He had been hoping that Takine would have been able to get more info, they were basically still stuck at level 1.

The only reason Thomas had signed up for this search party was because he believed it had something to do with the group he had been hunting. It, sounded like something they might do but like always there was no definitve proof to be sure the Bringers of Chaos were involved. "All right then looks like it's your turn Saix." The giant mecha waited for her pilot to jump to the ground before replying. "Sorry Thomas not going to happen. I don't think the Zoids are going to know anything either, nor their pilots. It's best we just wait and see if whoever is in charge of this little party can tell us anything more."

Thomas considered trying to force the Zoid to do as she was told but thinking back to past experiences with that; he decided it was best to go along with her plan instead. "Fine, we'll just wait. You two can do what you like until then I am going for a walk."

Clint Unknown - January 2, 2008 01:30 PM (GMT)
The cockpit of the Zero was warmer than ever. The temperature rocketed from its usual 70 degrees to 98, and still it rose. On the ground of the cockpit, a puddle of liquid laid, and while a few droplets made its way down into it, it didn't seem to grow too much.

Clint made shor that the hat he was wearing covered his eyes by having his left hand press down on it. While his feet were laid on the control panel, his comfort level was at its peak. He griped a brown paper bag which held a large open bottle, with his right hand, and brought it up to his lips. With that, he sipped the poison from the bottle, and afterwards, brought it back down to his lap again.

Sipping Hennessy, he was, and this would most likely decrease his productive skills in the cockpit by more than 70%. But he didn't care. After all. That was the point. He dozily brought his right hand up again and opened a pack of cigarettes that were pouched up in his pants pocket. While he lit his cigarette and inhaled deeply, he lazily watched the other people around him. He shook his head and turned on the phone screen for a comrade was calling.

Jen Matsumoto...

"Clint?. How are you doing? Have they came yet? " She asked with a serious thought behind those words.

"Naa..."He responded after blowing out smoke from his mouth.

"What are you doing? You know your pilot skills decreases when you smoke that stuff. You have to stay alert!"

"Naaa..I'm good...If I stay alert I might blow it. *hick* I'll let the Black Moon have their fun for now. "

"Are you serious. This isn't what we planned. :< I'm coming to get you. "She said in annoyance, while she began to type something up in her computer. Most likely the directions and location of Clint.

"If anything..*puffs* I'll stop smoking. Maybe that would help...Or not.."

Jen looked at the intercom steadily, and noticed the brown paper bag on his lap. She could see the shape of the bottle through the crumpled grips of the bag, and was not happy. She ceased to talk to Clint anymore after that. What he was doing was ridiculous. Clint was going in deep, and being tipsy and light headed wasn't going to help...

Livingston, the purple liger Zero was moving it's head about, while it's pilot laid in the cockpit half aware of what was going on. It just watched the other Zoids in such a happy but sneaky way, if any of them spotted him, the Zero would have problems. But that's exactly what it wanted. After all it was armored with the newest Zero armor around. The Souga CAS...

*puffs*

Fueur Yajumaru - January 2, 2008 07:52 PM (GMT)
"May I please have everyone's attention?"

A voice came over a speaker. Talking into a microphone, a woman tried to gently quiet the crowd of volunteers. "I thank you all for volunteering to help. We will start the search shortly. First of all, the humans, zoids, and organoid will be seperated into different groups to converse with each other and formulate a plan using each other's strengths. You will be reunited with your partners right after. All zoids, please follow Kashaku here." The woman motioned to an Alpha Hound Soldier that stood at her side. He started to walk off to the right, a line of zoids started following him. He led them around a hill and out of sight.

The woman continued. "Organoids, follow Snare." A tall organoid stood on the other side of the woman. He probably was already seen by many. Snare, a large bipedal dragon, was only a skeleton. The circuits, it seemed, were inside the bones. Two bone wings were tucked against his shoulders. He unfolded them so the 'noids knew who to go to, and started peeling off to the left, leading the organoids behind a different part of the area out of sight.

"And us humans will stay here. Now, to start off. Many people have been disappearing lately..."
As she continued her speech, Fueur watched Daum walk off and hoped he could keep himself out of trouble. Luckily, Panic's zoid Comet went immediately to keep an eye on him. Sara's zoid, however, was somewhat antisocial, and went on it's own.

At the same time, the white-haired man's eyes narrowed. "I don't like this." He said to his Toorima Shark.

"If there's any trouble, call me." The Shark replied as Makaylo slidoff of his back. He watched Gyorg float away, levitated by his booster system. He then joined into the crowd of people and waited.

Tamrin - January 3, 2008 01:53 AM (GMT)
Waddoff glanced across at his Rayse walking away, then back to the woman with the microphone.

"Uh, question?" Waddoff raised his hand.

"Since we're going to be piloting with our Zoids anyway, wouldn't it be better to form three search parties, in stead of three plans for each person? He asked.

He wondered how many search parties this woman had organised before. Waddoff looked around at the people standing around him. He didn't see a single face he recognised, which wasn't surprising.

He wrinkled is nose with disgust as the stench of smoke drifted from the man standing next to him. He shifted slowly through the small crown until he was standing up wind of the man.

Waddoff realised he hasn't been listening to what the woman had been saying, he tried to pay attention again, but was already behind in the announcement.

((ugh, I can't seem to think of much to write, my posts look so short next to all yours -_-))

Megara Talenaria - January 3, 2008 03:56 PM (GMT)
((Great work setting off all of Artemis's alarms, fyi; it doesn't take much brain power to see the lack of sense in splitting into three groups in this specific manner, but Buster(dunnohisnameyetshaddup)'s fortunately calmer and can think clearly.))

The moment the woman said the zoids and humans would be seperate, every single alarm in Artemis's head went off. Metaphorically speaking, of course; if that had literally occurred, that would've produced a cacophony of noise. It wouldn't be said that Megara didn't care very much about her zoids and took every precaution to ensure they wouldn't be stolen in their sleep (meaning anyone trying to pilot either of them will have to bear the sirens).
Now wait a minute! Artemis protested, but because of the sudden current of zoids following Kashaku, his path to Megara, who was blindly following the woman's directions to get to the crowd of other humans remaining behind, was blocked, and the noise of all these moving zoids deafened his words.
Are all of you morons?!! Megara-! OW!!
Artemis glared as the Buster Eagle that had just pecked him for what felt like the thousandth time that day landed in front of him, but stopped in surprise as a private channel was opened between the two through the communication array meant for the pilots and the BLOX said, If this is a trap, now is not the time to do anything about it. If there are zoids stationed for an ambush, struggling now would place the humans in the crossfire, and they will likely all be killed before we can rescue them... should this even be a trap in the first place. It's too obvious to have been done by anyone but amateurs, which does not sound like the skill level of whomever we're after, and the woman might just be hapless when it comes to planning things.
The Shadow Fox snarled, but followed the crowd of zoids; the Eagle was right.

Satisfied that he had averted a potentially ill-timed maneuver, the Buster Eagle followed alongside Artemis, hoping that, whether this really was a trap or just a very stupid planning strategy, that everything would turn out okay.

..... How're you talking? You wouldn't let Megara install the human speech program.

That Lezingol thing did it while I was asleep last night; I don't like it, but I guess talking comes in handy, after all.

To say the least...

Then their connection ended.

Megara joined the crowd, and put her attention on the woman, but blinked when someone asked a question that put her own mind in doubt.
'He's right - this doesn't make a lot of sense. Is something going on?'
She wasn't one not to give the benefit of the doubt, though, and awaited the answer to the question.
'There's probably a good explanation for this.'

((And though I have foresight on my side at the moment, I honestly do believe I'd be just this stupid if I were in this situation without the foresight I have now. XDDD

EDIT: And I apologize for making Artemis do something physically impossible in that last post; rub his own head. Not only is that physically impossible, it would just damage him more if it were. ^^; ))

Thomas Jensen - January 4, 2008 02:48 AM (GMT)
Thomas stopped in his tracks just a few feet away from Saix and Takine. "So much for that walk I guess." Right as he had begun to walk away a woman came up to a mic and finally got things started. but what she told them all to do was seemed very suspicious to Thomas, Saix, and Takine. Why would you split everybody up to make a plan? Doing it that way when you all got back together the odds were incredibly high you would have three different plans. Looking back to Saix Thomas was about to say something when Saix interupted. "Let me guess, you have a bad feeling about this right?" Thomas nodded his head and Saix dropped hers. "You know I hate it when you say that. Because every time you do something horrible and or crazy happens." Thomas could only smile in repsonse, she knew him well and knew his feeling well too. Takine just shook his head at the whole thing and walked up to Thomas.

"Try to be careful allright? I got a bad feeling about this myself, and I have an even worse feeling about that Organoid I am supposed to be following. This just feels like one of those divide and conquer things." Thomas nodded, "The same goes to you, if anything were to happen to you Luciana would be shattered. If things started looking bad just bail out and we'll meet up later someplace." The 'noid nodded his head in agreement and walked off to join the line of other Organoids. "What I told him applies to you as well. And don't go worrying about me, I'll be fine." And with that Thomas walked off to join the group of other pilots. Leaving Saix to follow the other Zoids.

As they walked all the three were thinking the same thing: "I have a" "bad feeling" "about this" They just hoped their suspicons was just them being paranoid and nothing more...

Clint Unknown - January 4, 2008 05:24 AM (GMT)
"Hahaha!!! *hick* " Clint laughed at the people who were departing from their Zoids. When he had herd the woman speak through the intercom about splitting up, he couldn't help but feel sorry for the mindless drones who were walking away from their Zoids and organoids beneath him. At the same time, Jen called and with that ,the two had to talk a bit before Clint actually joined the others.

" Sooo, they're starting..."

"What? Are they attacking? What are they doing?"

"Splitting us up from our Zoids and organoids. *laughs*"

"OK, I'll keep a mentally tap onto Livingston's Zoid core. " Jen said after closing her eyes to try to reach out to the Purple Liger. "But, Clint...Just sover up for now...This is going to be Dangerous. Please.." Jen opened one eye, and with that eye she gazed into Clint's own.

He shook, as a beam of light carrying a stinging sensation ran through his head...

"You have to understand. This is for Asuka, and they may have been the ones who had assassinated--"

"No....I am messing up aren't I? I won't let you, and the Kaiser Klan down Jen. This..is for The purple Fuhrer and organoid. The organoid that holds the rest of my memories. And the Fuhrer which holds my sanity.." Clint was looking through the intercom very seriously. And then he turned over to the screen which showed the warriors and pilots abandoning their zoids... Jen simply gave Clint a smile, and a thumbs up before closing her eyes and ending transmission...

With a solid and experienced jump from the cockpit to the ground, Clint almost hurt himself. he was still a bit tipsy and light headed. He looked up at the sky and then back at the Liger Zero. Livingston had just begun to silently walk off to join the other Zoids.

With a very light telepathy from Livingston, Clint knew he'd be alright...: "You should know already, I love to show off. :<"

Clint poured the rest of the liquor on the ground while he watched his Zoid walk off...The stream of the Hennessy, that weakly flowed from the glass bottle ,Clint was holding, was a symbol of gratitude, love, and affection. It was also a symbol of seriousness. It was time to shut this organization up once and for all. All he needed was a bit more information...

When the stream died he rest the bottle gently on the ground , before reaching in his pocket , to take out a cigarette box...With that, he took the stick out the box, and plopped it in his mouth. The box went back in his pocket, and the lighter went out.

He walked a bit towards the group before lighting his cigarette. A few people walked away from him when he did that, but it was something he was use to. Not much people on ZI who were "good people" could understand the art of inhaling and ex hailing cigarettes. Well, that's what Clint was thinking. He stood their and listened. Every thing the woman said, he knew. So he looked up at the sky and closed his eye's for a bit. Inhaled and exhaled the smoke and began his attention on the people around him. He needed to identify some of them, before entering this mission.

Fueur Yajumaru - January 5, 2008 07:05 PM (GMT)
With all the zoids having left, no approaching mecha could be seen. The sounds of the departing groups drifted on and eventually faded completely.

The woman with the loudspeaker had a blank, blatant look. She slowly moved her eyes to look at Waddoff, and said, "Is there a problem?" as if he hadn't even asked a question.

The lady then turned back to everyone. "Now, we want to ask you what are the abilities of your zoids, and for a few of you, organoids. We want to know your piloting ability, for this will be able to help us figure out exactly who does what. There may be fighting involved, after all, and for those of you who'd rather skip repairs, you can be placed on search instead of support of backup or something. Another example is- oh! There goes the head of our aerial unit!" She said, looking up at the sky. Following her gaze, the crowd looked up in the sky to see a mighty Gilvader like a huge black cloud.

The lady waved jovially up at the Gilvader, then turned back to the crowd with a smile. "Everything I just told you has been explained to your zoids and organoids, also. Just in a slightly different fashion- for example, instead of describing how we can pilot our zoids to help us, the zoids discuss how they can use their abilities to the fullest. It's kind of backward." The lady nodded and continued. "You will now be reunited with your comrades."

Even before she finished speaking, the zoids could be heard making their way back. They carefully went around the crowd instead of through it, sitting further back.

+
In a dark room, two eyes opened slowly. They were sinister and curved; the left eye was emerald, the right eye was indigo. "How did they react?" A deep male voice called out into the darkness.

A door opened behind the speaker, revealing a silhouetted form with a clipboard. The light from beyond cast into the room, showing a strange-looking machine, like a bulky table. There was someone lying on it.

"They were definitely worried, sir."
"Just as I thought."
"What's your reason for separating them anyway?"

The male's voice paused, then laughed. "Most of them know something strange is going on. They are now unsure, nervous. They won't trust each other as easily. And with the next phase of the plan, they won't know who to trust..."
+

"We're splitting into teams. We'll have a ground and air force, with there being two units of each teams, Unit A and Unit B. Unit B of both teams will be those willing to fight.

"We have broad-casted a radio link here so you can contact us immediately if you find anything. Now, whoever volunteers for Unit A, please stand on the left over there. Unit b, on the right.

Meanwhile, they reunited with their zoids with much relief. -nodnod-

"Fueur! I wanna fight, canIcanIcanI?" Daum asked excitedly, hopping up and down.

"Sure, no problem. Now calm down and let me drive."

"OKAY!"

"Did you drink my coffee this morning?" Fueur asked as Daum knelt down and opened the cockpit. He entered, shoving on his belt.

"NO."

"Comet, let's go!" Panic yelled, and hopped into her cockpit as swiftly as she lowered her head.

Sara joined up with Maer and entered the cockpit, walking him over to Fueur and Panic.

"Sara, I want you to go with Unit A," Fueur said.
"But Fueur, I can fight!" The fourteen-year old whined.
"I just don't feel comfortable with this at the moment."
"Do you not trust me?"
"It's not you-!"

Fueur put a hand to his forehead and sighed. It was her zoid. He wasn't evil, but he wasn't good either. In fact, he wasn't- anything. He wasn't too much of an 'alive' zoid, he was just- a robot. No personality, no personal bond with Sara. That's what worried Fueur, plus the fact that Maer came from a random stranger on the street.

Pouting clearly through the comm-link, Sara trudged Maer away too Unit A of the aerial force while Panic and Fueur went to Unit B of the ground force.

"Excuse me," the lady with the loudspeaker broke in again suddenly, "Does anyone know where the organoids are? Will someone please make mental contact-"

"Trouble!" said a young man suddenly in the crowd. "They're being attacked- but why would people attack us when we have our zoids?" The man asked as he turned to his zoid- a Gravity Ptera- and entered it, immediately taking off.

"The search starts now!" The woman said, the megaphone forgotten as she went to her own zoid- a Garius.

However, even after searching for miles in the sky, the organoids had completely disappeared. Mental links were broken.

The search was on.

((Dies from writing never-ending post. X_X And only 9 words fixed in spell-check. :D))

Tamrin - January 5, 2008 10:38 PM (GMT)
Naturally, at the mention of fighting, Waddoff wanted to join Unit B. Although he highly doubted there would be any, but just in case there was, he wanted to be one of the ones to fight.

"By moving to the right to join Unit B, does she mean her right, or our right?" Waddoff pondered, looking left and right with uncertainty.

Everyone else was starting to move, and he didn't want to be the only one left standing in the middle, so he made a quick decision, and mistakenly joined Unit A.

Waddoff became alert when someone started screaming about the Organoids being attacked.

"Wait, what?" Waddoff asked, although no one was listening.

"The search starts now!" The woman yelled.

Waddoff ran promptly over to his Rayse.

"Mukiruh!" He yelled.

The Rayse Tiger kneeled down and opened the canopy, allowing Waddoff to climb in, then closed behind him. Waddoff buckled himself in as the red optics lit up, giving him a view of the landscape.

"What's with the rush all of a sudden?" Mukiruh asked.

"Seems like there could be more to this than just a search party. It looks like someone's plotting to steal Organoids to me." Waddoff explained.

Mukiruh growled as Waddoff put him into a run, following the other Zoids in front of him.

"Why couldn't it have just been another search party?" Waddoff complained.

"I thought you wanted something more interesting than a search party."

"Yeah, but things are getting a little complicated now. Dangerous even. We could be in way over our head." Waddoff said.

"Should you call for backup? We could get some of the other members to rendezvous with us in about ten minutes." Mukiruh suggested.

Waddoff looked around at the other pilots.

"At this point, I don't think it's necessary. Send reports back to HQ every ten minutes, tell them not to send reinforcements unless absolutely necessary. He instructed.

Megara Talenaria - January 6, 2008 11:08 PM (GMT)
As the time from when the humans, zoids, and organoids were seperated grew longer by the second, Megara grew more and more nervous, so preoccupied with worry she couldn't even hear anything anymore. Then the Gilvader flew overhead, and she looked up at it. For a moment her paranoia entertained the wild notion of it opening fire in the direction the zoids had gone, obliterating Artemis and the Buster Eagle along with all the others, but that didn't happen. She heaved a huge sigh of relief.
'If he's up there and not attacking, he won't let anything bad happen.' That thought would be proven wrong in the next few minutes.
She focused her attention back on the woman, completely reassured by the sight of the seemingly friendly Gilvader. She was doubly reassured when Artemis and the Buster Eagle came back.

"Artemis!" she squealed as she ran up to the Shadow Fox and hugged his forepaw.

I told you there was nothing to worry about, the Buster Eagle said to Artemis as he stood next to them, rustling his wings slightly with inflating self-pride.

Yeah yeah, Artemis muttered aloud, but he thought, 'Don't count your eggs before they hatch, though; something could still happen, and I've got a feeling it will.'

"Arathorn," Megara suddenly said to the Buster Eagle with a smile, whom responded with a momentarily confused cock of the head before he nodded in approval of his new name.

Well, now that that's finally been settled, Artemis said, grabbing the attention of both. We're joining Group A, no question, but will we be part of the ground force or... he paused, and would probably have gulped nervously if he'd been able to, ...the air force?

Before any of them could answer that question, there was a sudden commotion, and Megara's faith that nothing would happen under the Gilvader's watchful eye was shattered. The organoids were being attacked.

I know you're not gonna like this, but- Arathorn started, and left the sentence unfinished as he flew up into the air and started coming apart.

Oh dandy, Artemis mumbled as pieces of the Buster Eagle suddenly started attaching themselves to his body. Just a few seconds later, and the newly formed Crow Fox was crouching low to the ground to allow Megara to climb into the cockpit.

"I suppose we're part of the air unit," Megara said as she strapped herself in. This was good, because she was much better at flying a zoid than fighting in one. So they took off in search of the organoids with all the other flying zoids.

There was a momentary pause as they lifted off into the air, but once they were going level to search, Artemis said in a surprised, mystified manner, You know what... this isn't so bad...

Thomas Jensen - January 6, 2008 11:48 PM (GMT)
Thomas watched as the Gilvalder flew overhead, his stress levels rising to incredible levels, but they went back down a ways once it had flown past. "If, they wanted to they could have wiped right here and now. Then again if their who I think the are, they would probably only go after me, Saix, and Takine."

His thoughts were then broken into by the woman who informed they could rejoin their partners. Thomas let out a sigh of relief he would feel much better with Saix and Takine standing next to him again. He smiled as Saix walked up to him shaking her head about something. "Did you have fun?" Thomas asked sarcastically, he knew Saix's behavior well enough to know she was angry. And he couldn't help but push her buttons at the moment. "1. Remind me to have Luciana slap you for that later and 2. no I didn't have fun that was pointless!"

Thomas stifled a laugh he alwas loved getting Saix's goat and sarcasm was usually the best way to do it. Saix could tell he was trying not laugh and was about to make another threat when the woman with the microphone started talking again. "So, which do you want to join? Unit A or unit B?" "You, choose I am fine either way." "Yeah and I got monkeys flying out my end. I know which one you want, if this really is the Bringers then your going to want to fight." Saix then lowered down to allow her pilot to enter and walked over to the unit B land force.

It seemed like everything was going to go fine until they were informed the Organoids had gone MIA. Thomas's blood ran cold at the words and Saix nearly dropped to the ground. Neither could believed what they had just heard their minds went reeling trying to think of something to say. Thomas spoke first: "I told her I didn't want him coming with us! Why couldn't she have sent Zekeo instead of Takine!" Saix just took off with the search party to try and track down the noids, she figured once Thomas cooled down a bit she would give him back the controls. In the cockpit Thomas was vainly trying to get Saix under his control so he could things his way, but they wouldn't budge.

Clint Unknown - January 7, 2008 09:08 PM (GMT)
Clint tossed the dead cigarette on the ground and looked back at his Liger, which had just returned from god knows were. The Liger was still in good condition. nothing seemed to change. When Clint jumped into the cockpit to check if all his belongings were still there, no surprises were released in the cockpit. Not even when the people began quivering over their lost organoids.

"I'm joining unit B. "

"Why?"

"Because...I wanna hit somebody."

Jen sighed at Clint's response to why he was going to unit B.. v.v"Alright, just don't get yourself into too much trouble. I'm on my way over.."

"Alright, I'll see you later. " Clint threw up the peace sign before the transmission ended, and began to check all systems for manual travel...

Livingston spoke out: "When am I gonna kill somebody? Can I cut that Rayse tiger over there? :D"

"nooooo, calm down..We'll have out fun later.." Clint lit another cigarette and began the liger's movements towards unit B. The liger's huge claws dug into the dirt, each step it took. It was an unpredictable force to be reckoned with, despite being just a Liger Zero , fitted into a Souga CAS. This liger wanted to be feared. It gave deep grunts, and growls to every single Zoid that passed by it. It wasn't here to make friends. It was here to destroy. And so was The General of the B.C.M himself. Star. A name few know, but all fear. If anybody knew of Star, then they don't know Clint is the original Star... :[ (Clint's other side...BOOO!!! Did I scare ya?)

Fueur Yajumaru - January 10, 2008 03:25 AM (GMT)
"...Maybe the Gilvader's gone after the organoids..." Panic said to Fueur over the comm-link.
"You worried?" Fueur replied. "I'm not saying I don't care, but you sound especially-"
"I like organoids. They're just so... I dunno, but I feel like I..."
"You don't have a drop of zoidian blood in your veins." Fueur said flatly.
"Must I? I don't know what it is, but I feel like there's no such thing as an evil organoid. Maybe just an evil founder."

Fueur kept silent as they moved along, searching the Red River Valley. He was in a group with Panic and a few others he didn't know. So far, they hadn't found anything.

Sighing, Fueur flipped a switch on Daum's control panel. "Yo, Sara, any luck?"

"There's another Crow Fox with us! Just like Archaic!" Sara replied excitedly.

"That wasn't the question... But whatever..." Fueur shut off the com-link.

Sara watched the screen go blank and pouted. She looked at the Crow Fox out of Maer's eye, making everything appear red. Her hand slid up to the control panel and flipped on a communication link to it. "...Hi!" She said somewhat nervously, attempting to strike up conversation. "There's a Crow Fox at my base also... I never thought I'd see another one. 'Cept ours has no pilot... He just kinda does whatever. He's nice, though." She nodded.

"Fueur..." Daum whispered to his pilot, inside the cockpit so only he could hear. "See that Souga over there?"

The Ground Unit B consisted of Daum, the Rev Raptor, Comet, the Trinity Liger EV, a Lightning Saix, a Souga, and a Crococlaw.

"Well, it just seems like-" Daum started, but as if reading his mind, the Souga growled at him as it passed by. It proceeded to do so to Comet.

But Comet was not having any of it. With her own set of respectable weapons, she wasn't afraid of this souped-up Liger-she snarled back at it. "Have a problem, punk?" She growled. Comet wasn't often mean, she just hated high-strung people- or zoids. She also hated big zoids picking on smaller ones- though in Daum's case, this wasn't an issue. Daum was blunt to the fact of zoids being classified into- um, classes. He would as easily challenge a Molga as he would a Geno Breaker. Though he bristled, Comet got to the Souga first.

"Oh, come on, you two, let's not start a fight! Geez..." Fueur sighed, though Panic was eager for some action.

Tamrin - January 11, 2008 06:07 AM (GMT)
In the confusion, Waddoff wasn't quite sure what to do or where to start. He blindly followed the Zoid in front of him.

"I don't like the way that Liger over there is looking at us." Mukiruh said.

"You worry too much." Waddoff told him.

"If you stopped and thought for a moment, you'd realise something doesn't seem right here. The way that Liger is looking at us, makes me think he might have something to do with it."

"So? If he attacks we'll just have to beat him." Waddoff replied confidently.

"Are you kidding? That's a Souga over there. That thing will tear me to shreds."

"You do worry too much. If worst comes to worst, no amount of armor will stop exploding bite."

"Do you remember who was in our group, Mukiruh?" Waddoff asked.

"I thought you were the one who joined the group, I wasn't there."

"Yeah, but I can't put faces to Zoids. I have no idea who I'm following right now." Waddoff explained.

"Watch out, the Souga is getting closer to us." Mukiruh warned.

The Liger passed them and growled fiercely as it went. Mukiruh snarled back to show him he wasn't afraid.

"What do you think, should we keep an eye on him?" Waddoff asked Mukiruh.

"It sounds like a plan."

Waddoff moved the Rayse to follow in the Ligers' wake.

Megara Talenaria - January 11, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
At the very simple 'hi', Megara, being her shyly spazzy self, was so thoroughly surprised that she jerked the controls jolting.

Gya! Nevermind what I said! Artemis yelped as they jerked around in mid-air spazzishly for half a second.

Megara righted them quickly, took deep breaths and blinked as she listened to the rest of what the sudden greeter was saying, then all but forgot what just happened as she asked, "Really? That's cool! Is he somewhere around?"
She never missed an opportunity to meet any zoid.

OHMYGODASTORMSWORDER!!!! Arathorn suddenly cried out, eliciting yet another jolt of surprise from Megara (but fortunately without the jerking of the controls). Apparently he was a fanzoid for high-speed flyers. Then he realized that he'd just squealed over another zoid and went silent with embarrassment rather than the usual lack of anything he felt important to say.

((Sooo shoooort. ;0; ))

Clint Unknown - January 14, 2008 03:18 AM (GMT)
((sorry I messed up..I posted too soon...*headaches)) Someone delete this post... >.>

Thomas Jensen - January 16, 2008 01:23 AM (GMT)
((I really need to be studying but I also need a break here and there so here goes, Hope this post doesnt' suck.))

Thomas was on total edge, his eyes wide, heart beating a mile a minute. He could not believe this was really happening, he had lost Takine or at least Takine had disappeared. Either way Luciana would be completely distraught if they didn't find him she most likely would never recover from the grief. She had lost him once to the group Thomas figured was really at work here and now they may stolen the 'noid again. "I really hate irony Saix. I just plain can't stand it, and if this is the Bringers of Chaos's doing that would taking irony to a whole new level."

Saix knew her pilot was talking but she didn't take the time to really listen. She was too busy studying the other Zoid's in the group they were in. Realizing that if Zekeo the Shield Liger were with them he would be going crazy with excitment. "That Liger and his need to meet new types of Zoids I swear. He'll flip when I tell him about this lot."Saix was never easily impressed but the Zoids around her did the job. A Trinity Liger EV, a Souga, and a Rayse Tiger all Zoids she either had only seen a couple of times before.

She was watching the Souga especially, that one seemed to have a bit of an attitude problem on it. That was something she didn't think they really needed with them a Zoid with an attitude. Though Thomas would probably say she has the same problem. Saix snorted at the thought of her having an attitude problem. "He's the one with the problems." she muttered to herself. After that she picked up her pace a bit coming up along side the Rev Raptor. "Hi, there. My names Saix, what about you?" She figured getting to know each other couldn' hurt much if they were going to have to fight together. Thomas was a little suprised at her boldness, Saix didn't usually just walk up to others and start talking.

Clint Unknown - January 16, 2008 03:48 AM (GMT)
Clint popped open another bottle, and lit up another stick, before repositioning the cockpit's seat back a bit. His feet was on the dashboard and both hands were occupied with holding the cigarette and hennessy bottle.

He knew what was going on. Livingston was a punk alright, he thought as he sensed the Trinity Liger bark back...He wasn't worried about getting in a fight with the liger at all. Livingston knew better. If it was any other day the liger would have flipped out the cold Metal-Zi Katana ,and stab it down the Trinity's throat, with no mercy. But this was different. Money was involved and if he would to mess up now, he knew Clint wouldn't buy other CAS, and optional Equipment for him.

Livingston showed its teeth even more but refrained from talking with the liger. It gave a deep grunt, and kept walking. When the rayse tiger growled back , The Liger activated its Strike laser claws for a few seconds, before shutting them off...There was no purpose for that, but it didn't bothered Clint one bit. Made the ground hot a bit, but no harm was done to anybody...

Clint inhaled and puffed out the smoke.... Not one word escaped his mouth...

Fueur Yajumaru - January 18, 2008 12:09 AM (GMT)
((Don't worry about it. ^^))

"Archaic? Nah, he doesn't worry himself with the affairs of humans. Well, that's what he wants everyone to think..." Sara replied, dramatically leaning closer to the com-screen. "I've seen him following me before, from the sky. Whenever I'm alone." Sara finished with a nod. "Oh, and Maer doesn't talk much. I like Storm Sworders. I like going reeeeeeaaaalll fast. One day I'll upgrade into an FX- the fastest!" The girl's voice filled with excitement. "Better than any roller coaster I know... Bummer that Fueur- my guardian- won't let me go to Group B, though... I want to fight... How about you?"

Back down, the land Group B's pace picked up as most of the zoids fell into silence.

However..., it was quickly broken with a friendly greeting from a Lightning Saix.

"I'm Daum, nice to meet ya! Interesting group we have here." He shrugged his little raptor shoulders. "I just wish- hey!" He frantically looked around. "Oi, everyone, check out your radars!" Daum called out.

Surely enough, there were other zoids showing up at the edge, and coming closer.

Land Group B was far away from the starting point right now, so only the flyers could possibly help... But Fueur wasn't too worried- they had a formidably force.

The blips on the radar showed them closer, though nothing was seen... and then the other zoid's Optical Stealth came off, and they were surprisingly close.

There was an Orudios, a Berserk Fuhrer Tsume, a Soul Tiger, and a Schneider.

"FOR THE LOVE OF CHEESE AND ALL THAT IS PURE, HOLY GEEZ!" Fueur exclaimed at the sight of the souped-up group coming at them. "Please tell me they're friendly... Please tell me they're friendly..." Fueur muttered- until the Schneider and Tsume took out their blades. "...Crap."

"We can take 'em, Fueur!" Panic said, appearing on his com-screen. It's four versus six."

"I don't believe this..." Fueur muttered.

"Hey! You!" A demanding voice came from the Tsume's cockpit. The fearsome squad stopped. "What are you doing in our valley? Do you know what happens to people like you?" The Berserk Fuhrer Tsume straightened out, threatiningly exposing it's CPC. "We could just kill you all... Or you could just give us your zoids. Then, we'd let you free without harm."

"Are you crazy? This valley doesn't belong to anyone!" Panic shouted. "Who are you to claim it?"

"You gonna try to stop us?" The voice said coldly.

"Heck yeah! Let's get 'em, Comet!" The EV roared as it leaped forward to fight, it's Photon Katan gleaming as it flipped forward. The Schneider on the opposing team jumped forward to meet it, it's blades flipping forward.

"Go!" The leader commanded, and the rest of the zoids went around the fighting felines and to the rest of the group.

The Orudios was headed for Saix, Daum and the Crococlaw, it's wicked spears forward. The Tsume headed for the Souga, and the Soul Tiger went for Mukiruh.

Megara Talenaria - January 18, 2008 01:00 AM (GMT)
((..... *doesn't completely understand the sheer doom of what they're up against yet, but understands enough to warrant this question* I hate to interrupt with nothing but OOC, but I think everyone wants to know the answer to this and I don't think it'll be noticed in the RP request thread; who all can detect what's going on with this group that's facing deathly oh-my-god opponents?))

Tamrin - January 18, 2008 06:45 AM (GMT)
Waddoffs' curse was cut off as the Soul Tiger leaped at them, he yanked at the controls and Mukiruh started half falling, half leaning to the side.
The Soul Tigers' claws grazed across the Rayses' armor.

"Watch the paint!" Waddoff cried out.

He spun Mukiruh around and tried to get a decent footing.

"Did you see where that Souga went?" Waddoff asked, looking over his shoulder.

"Never mind that, look at the problem in front of us.

"Where did they get all that fancy stuff from?" Waddoff asked, admiring the Soul Tiger upgrade.

"Don't get any ideas..."

"Alright, time for a counter attack." Waddoff thought out loud and charged the Soul Tiger head on.

He was easily flung away against the side of the valley.

"Smooth..."

"Yeah, shut it." Waddoff said, picking himself back up.

"Why couldn't they have been generic red-shirts we could just pick off easily?" Waddoff complained as he turned Mukiruh to face the Soul Tiger again.

Waddoff quickly surveyed the scene, each of the Zoids around him were fighting machines superior to their own.

"It's like they knew what Zoids we had, and exactly where we were headed. Do you think they were watching us?" He pondered.

"Hm, I guess we'll take care of this first." Waddoff said.

He pushed a button on the dash and a target appeared on the HUD, locking onto the Soul Tigers' left shoulder as it stood menacingly waiting for him to strike.

"So you want my Zoid huh?" Waddoff asked, as he locked on again to the Soul Tigers' right shoulder, and yet again as he continuously tapped the acquire target button.

"The only thing you're getting from me is a world of hurt."

By now the entire HUD was covered in lock on cross hairs.
He smirked and thrust his palm onto a large red button titled 'Fire'. The Pinpoint lasers unleashed a volley of red beams, some of which missed and hit the ground, exploding and throwing dust and debris into the air.

"That takes care of that." Waddoff dusted his hands.

The smoke slowly separated, and the Soul Tiger stood unphased. If Mukiruh had hands, he would have face-palmed at that moment.

"Did you forget he's a Soul Tiger? He has condenser panels just like us? No laser fire will harm him." Mukiruh reminded him.

"Well ok, we'll just have to hit him with something bigger." Waddoff said, reaching for the laser nest controls."

"No lasers. Mukiruh said.

"But..."

"No laser!" He told him off sternly.

((I wanna keep going but this is getting too long already. Are we aloud to kill them off Fueur? Or are they story npcs?))

Fueur Yajumaru - January 20, 2008 12:07 AM (GMT)
((Of course you can kill them off, it's a roleplay, you do whatever your character would normally do in that situation.))

Megara Talenaria - January 22, 2008 06:27 PM (GMT)
((I suppose I'm just gonna have to assume the flying group can't (or that none of my characters are paying attention to the radar for one reason or another), since your character didn't react. ^^; ))

Megara listened intently to Sara, saying, "That's so sweet!" at Archaic's tendency to secretly tail her. To Sara's liking of going fast, though, Megara nervously stated, "Well... I do like flying, but I don't like going really fast."

Artemis, however, was curious about the humans now that he was over the near-crash experience.
"What's a guardian?" he asked.

((It's short again, and even poorer than the last one. ><;;;; *smacks self over the head* I should never have stopped roleplaying. I'm not gonna bother with the colored text from now on, fyi (unless I change my mind again).))

Thomas Jensen - January 26, 2008 10:45 PM (GMT)
Thomas was still having a meltdown in the cockpit when heard Daum yell out to look at the radar. He blinked a few times to make sure he wasn't seeing things, to his dismay it was accurate. "Well, it looks like this isn't going to be a nice little stroll through the valley." Saix snorted in reply."Great now he's making wise cracks." she was going to make a smart remark of her own but she then saw theh Orudios bearing down on her and Daum. It seemed a more important matter at that moment than her pilots sarcasm.

She quickly ran through her memory searching for any info she could remember about the pegasus type Zoid. What came to mind was in no way comforting. "Great a land Zoid that's slightly faster than even me." "It may be somewhat faster, but I doubt if its as agile as us. And it probably doesn't have a pilot like me behind the controls." Saix felt a fimilar foreboding bulding up in her core, the same feeling she got everytime Thomas was about to do something crazy.

"Whatever your planning on doing just try and not get us killed in the process. I don't want to die in some desolate little valley like this." Thomas made no reply he was getting ready for whatever might happen next, not knowing what the Rev Raptor and pilot had planned, he didn't want to make any sudden moves and mess things up. As the enemy Zoid quickly approached Thomas wondered if these guys were working for whoever took the 'noids or if they were just random bandits. And if the people who took the organoids were who he figured they were.

Clint Unknown - February 1, 2008 04:05 AM (GMT)
Within moments after seeing the fearsome 4 in their fighting stances, The liger had already drawn its Blade from its back and into its mouth. The Liger's grip was deep, yet shallow. The Blade itself almost seemed to have glowed a bright purple, for whatever reason, the Liger wasn't just about to let some punks interfere with Star plans.

Clint couldn't help but to sit up and prepare himself for a fight. But just as he was about to check a few things, he blacked out at the sight of the Fuhrer. At that very moment, the many many memories he had , from the experience and knowledge of working with the purple Fuhrer , had begun to flood his mind once more. Things that he had forgotten came back. Most of it ,however still lost from the tragic incident.

He stared into space for a while, while his Liger watched the fuhrer. Deep grunts, and growls were unleashed through the Liger's mouth. The Blade, undulled and ready for first time use...

With Star all not focused on what was going on, it was Livingston, who needed to get rid of the fuhrer. It didn't mater to him weather or not Star would want to damage such a Zoid that would bring back memories to himself. To Livingston, it was just the presence of the Fuhrer that made him full up with glee. The Liger wanted a fight. It just so happened that this pack of punks came about . And now The devilish kitten was going to have its ball of yarn to untangle...

While the Fuhrer headed towards The purple Liger, Livingston decides to stand there, When the time would come it would blast on its boosters and cut the Fuhrer throat. It wanted to finish the Fuhrer with somewhat of a clean one time hit. It somehow knew what Star's reaction would be if he saw the fuhrer in many pieces. The Liger knew better . If Star loses the will to fight before they actually get the information on the group, then The purple liger could kiss its new equipment good buy...

"Im not going to let that happen..."
