Title: The Organoid Hunters

Timber Okami - August 1, 2007 06:03 PM (GMT)
((In case you're perceptive... This is indeed a copy-paste of my origional post for this plot. I'm just lazy and don't feel like typing a new thing out. It's got a few minor changes for seasonstuff.))

".. 'ey. 'ey! Bro! Lookit that one there. Ah jus spotted 'em."

"Aaah, ah feline Organoid. Odd colah', though. Nevah seen un solid white 'n black like tha. 'e's not even shineh,"

"... 'o cares? Bet he'll fetch a nice price.. ey?"

"....'ey. Bro. Ah jus noticed somethin'. Lookit the girl 'e's wit. She's blind!"

".....bro. This is gonna be so easy,"

For the first time in a good long while, Dimetri was having a good day. No evil magnetic storm, or crazy rogue Bio Zoids to fight, or someting else that she really didn't want to deal with. No, it was just her and her Organoid, enjoying a nice, summer day.

It was a warm day, she wasn't wearing her coat at all, having stored it back in her Zoid. The day was clear and beautifull.. not like she could see that, but the sun felt nice on her skin, and the light breeze was cool despite the heat.

The cat Organoid lazed around at her feet, under the bench she was sitting at. He lifted his head and yawned widely, in typical cat fashon. Orzhov flexed his nails against the stone he was laying on.

A single brown leaf started to blow past him, and he expertly reached out with a paw to catch it. It crunched under his paws, predator instinct acting before his mind could realize it.

The noise made the blind woman jump just slightly, till she realized what it was.

"The ever alert predator, hm?"

He slowly lifted his paws, watching the flakes drift away in the breeze. I suppose so,

Dragon Koradaku - August 2, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
I'm boooooooooooored

The whiny voice was emitting from the parted maw of a black Konig Wolf. The W00f was on his back, paws flailing in the air and tail wagging dully. Next to him, a blue feline Zoid blinked red optics.

Then go do something. The Bio Liger grunted, flexing his claws in annoyance. The Konig rolled onto his paws, blue eyes bright with joy. Okay! Wanna play? He asked.

The Liger gave him the flatest stare evah.

No.

Sitting a little off from their Zoids, two pilots gazed up at the clear sky. One was looking with an almost...empty stare while the other....was blind. He was simply enjoying the nice breeze and warmth. It wasn't often this one could just....get out and away from the antics of his Base.

"Cloud?" The blind lad, Zack, spoke. He turned his blindclothed head to the blonde boy next to him, wondering if he was still looking at the sky. They had known each other for only a short while, and Cloud had only spoken like....what, 10 words to him?

"Hm?" Cloud answered, not even looking at the blind fella. "Seems Roukyou just got another scratch from Century. Crazy mutt." He muttered, looking over his shoulder at the barking Konig and hissing Liger.

Zack grinned. "Should have brought Decade instead, eh?" He said, going for a conversation starter. his answer was the swish of a coat, signaling Cloud had stood and was walking away. Zack deadpanned for a moment, then hurried after him. "You don't have to walk away like that....." He muttered.

No answer. Gee, this was like talking to a rock.

Giving up on small talk, Zack strode foward after Cloud. The boy's heavy foothuds were soon cut short however by a loud phone ring. Cloud brought the small device out, and instantly frowned. Brows furrowed, he shoved the phone back in his pocket.

"Tank?" Zack asked with a grin. Cloud rolled his shoulders. "She has guy problems." Came the growled reply. "Wish Roukyou never gave her my number."

DOOFUSAYSWHAT!?

"What?" Cloud snapped, looking at his Zoid.

LOL! 8D

Realizing the joke, Cloud huffed and spun away. Zack kept pace with him, loving the warmth of the sun on his skin. While the blind one didn't notice it, Cloud looked over to see a lady and man, with a white Organoid nearby. The blonde's brow rose; he never saw a 'noid like that before.

A female walked rather swiftly down the street. She had her face buried in a map, there was a frown on her face. The way she paced it was obvious that Colette was not in the best of moods. Having just arrived in New Helic City she was completely lost. She had a map, but it was little use to the blond. Earlier she had accidentally dropped it in a puddle, making it very difficult to read.

"Umm, excuse me. I'm looking for directions. . ."

Colette looked up from her map and addressed the nearest person. Or two people as the case was. Two people and a konig wolf and a bio liger.

The first person was blond, with unusually spiky hair. The other wore a bandanna over his face. Colette thought this was strange, but dismissed it for now.

Vex was viewing the scene below - a Konig Wolf and a Bio Liger chasing each other around - as he sipped is coffee from the cafe he was visiting. His recently-found Shadow Fox, Kyuubi, could be seen basking int he sun in a clearing a few blocks away. The pilot had a good vantage point, as he was up on a 3rd-story balcony on the edge of town. His Energy Liger, Solstice, was drifting through the clouds around New helic and could be seen from time to time.

Singe, the Foxanoid (Vex never really referred to Singe as his own...he just happened to follow him around. Perhaps they enjoy each other's arrogance? Who knows.) was floating around on golden wings, but at such a low attitude that he'd whoosh by Vex to try and get him to spill his piping-hot drink.

After a decent amount of cursing at the Fox, a waitress from the cafe came out to check on everything.

"Um, sir, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to ask you to not put your feet up on the balcony railing. You're dropping mud on the people below."

Tilting his chair backwards to look at the waitress upside-down while clutching his hat to his head to prevent gravity from pulling it to the ground, the Frenchie gave a raised-brow grin at her. "Who, me? Sorry, lady, I'm not moving."

"Sir-"

"How's zis?" Vex said in a light tone, digging some Gallos out of his pocket with his free hand and tossing it to the girl. "That zat, and forget about it, eh?"

With a frustrated sign, said waitress turned around and left.

Cue Foxanoid.

Activating his boosters as he smirked, Singe zipped inches from Vex's face and knocked him over before he had a chance to sit his chair up straight again. Scrambling to get up in a fluster while also thankful that his coffee spilled off the balcony and not on him (much to the annoyance of people below) Vex pulled out an unloaded gun and pointed it at Singe, who had also grabbed Vex's scarf and was laughing, hovering only a few decimeters out of reach.

Hahahaaaa~ Sucks to be you!

Pwned. Kyuubi said through mindlink.

Pwned. Said Solstice, wheeling overhead.

Tiring of his enraged partner, Singe swirled around (clipping the end of Vex's nose with his tail) and set off to the feline Organoid he had spotted a little ways off. Wheee.

Elaine Storm - August 10, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Morosuya, the Blitz Tiger, stomped through the large streets, clumsily avoiding obstacles in the road. Her giant paws made loud 'thunk's each time she stepped aside, and she ignored all the shouts of disapproval she got from passer byes.

"This isn't working," The silver haired pilot grumbled, eyes closed as he rubbed his temples with frustration.

"You're right, I could always squeeze into the alleyways, wouldn't that be fun?"

Running ahead of them was a beautiful, but pointy white tiger Organoid. The heat didn't bother her as much as it did Moro, her white coat was barely affected by the warm day. Though, luckily the Blitz Tiger didn't feel much anyways, or she would have ended up in an even grumpier mood. Said Tiger continued to struggle through the streets - ducking low to avoid the tops of buildings or the bottoms of over hangs.

The unlucky Tiger stalked alongside a cafe, and was forced to stop and let someone else inside(But she would have loved have stepped on them). That was just enough time for coffee from above to spill right over her head. Hissing in anger, the Tiger flailed her paws around before collapsing on the street, her long saber teeth propping her head up off the ground.

"Right. Haukea and I will continue on foot, you stay here, it'll be easier that way..."

"Don't worry I'm not going anywhere anytime soon!"

"You should have thought about that plan before, genius..." Haukea growled. She had stopped walking after the coffee incident, and waiting for her master, Rei, to jump down from the cockpit to join her. His aqua eyes narrowed, and the two stared, frustrated, at each other, their trance only broken at the sound of Morosuya's voice.

"Eeeh, that kitty looks a lot like you, Haukea!" The Zoid rose a paw just enough to point in the direction of a bench not too far off, where a woman an a black and white Organoid were. Both Rei and the Organoid spun around in the same instant, facing the direction she had pointed out.

"No it doesn't," Haukea retorted, her bladed tail slashing the air behind her in annoyance.

"Awh, go say hi!..."

"No, besides we-" The Organoid was suddenly flung forward after receiving a good shove from Moro's enormous paw. Haukea flew helplessly towards the bench, and skidded to a halt a few meters away from the other feline Organoid, her face firmly planted in the ground and her tail swishing in the air above her.

"She's gonna be mad when we get back," Rei told his Zoid before rushing over to Haukea's position.

"I'm praying she won't remember, Mr. Obvious..."

Timber Okami - August 18, 2007 05:06 AM (GMT)
((Omg, finally posting here. x.x))

He seemed to realize that he was being stared at by multiple eyes, for the Organoid lifted his head and growled. That deep, low 'rrrrr' sound that angry cats tended to make.

The blind one frowned at this, being unable to see, and she couldn't sence anything that felt like it ment to cause them harm.

"Something wrong?" she asked, tilting her head. The Organoid visibly frowned, turning his spiked head upward even though she couldn't see him.

Not really. I just think tha- he stopped and skittered backwards when Haukea was suddenly just... thar. He blinked in surprise, and slowly crept out to poke at her.

You alright? he purred, reaching out with a claw and poking the other Organoid in the back.

Dimetri tilted her head, but didn't ask. She could tell- it was another Organoid. There was yet another one heading their way. Neither felt hostile, so she wasn't concerned. What was concering was the feeling of the Zoids in the area. There was so much life around, but she coudl for sure feel one Bio aside from her own Bio's. Felt like something competely different, too.

['Teysa, I may need your help here soon. No hurry, but if you could head over here...']

Her Bio Tricera didn't respond, but she knew that she's heard. She felt safe enough, it seemed that all the attention was on Orzhov... like it always was. Oh well. She didn't mind.

Dragon Koradaku - August 18, 2007 01:20 PM (GMT)
Off in his own little world, Cloud didn't notice the voice behind him. Instead, he was looking at that lady sitting on the bench. Another Organoid had...somehow appeared, though it looked rather dangerous compared to the white and black one.

Zack however, was a little more alert. His head turned over his shoulder, focused on where he thought the voice had come from. "Directions?" He repeated, one brow raised. "I'm sorry but I don't think I can help you." He muttered.

I can!

The ground shook as Rouk came barreling over. The Konig lowered his head to be level with that of the girl's, his face broken into a happyhappy grin. Hi! I'm Roukyou! Where would ya like to go? He asked, tail wagging up a storm. Behind him, Century facepawed.

Idiot. He grumbled, stalking forth. Gently, the Bio Liger pushed his pilot away from the looming body of Roukyou, stopping him at Cloud's side. The blue Zoid looked around, optics falling on the form of a Blitz Tiger. Well lookit that. You don't see those much. He pointed out.

Cloud looked up at the taller man, features set in that-always scowl. "What's Roukyou doing?" He asked. Zack shrugged. "Helping some girl with directions." He said. The blonde man nodded once, then looked back at the lady with the Organoid.

There was something familiar about the way she tilted her head....

Right! Whenever Zack was listening for something or sensed harm, he always cocked his head in that funny way of his. He wasn't doing it now though, the boy was just staring flat ahead. "What? Ugh, too many strange Zoids." The blind lad growled, head turning this way and that.

A jolt came to Cloud, and he suddenly realized what idiots they looked like. Standing there, one of them gazing stupidly at a girl on a bench. Shaking his head, the blonde hero finally deicided it was time for some coffee :< Not that one with the Tiger near it, however.

As Cloud's heavy boots started to thud away, Zack looked over at noise. "Should have known that was coming." He muttered low. "Wait up!" He called, following the sounds of the footsteps.

Sylvan - August 18, 2007 01:42 PM (GMT)
"Oh, I'm sorry."

She quickly bowed to the blind man as she realised that he couldn't see.

"Thank you Roukyou. Umm. I'm trying to find the corner of first street and adam tce. I parked my blade liger there you see. . . "

Colette didn't realize that she was only half a block away from her destination. Her Blade Liger was sitting literally, just around the corner.

Sam BlazeGryph - August 23, 2007 01:37 AM (GMT)
Singe's interests were sparked by the other feline Organoid that had appeared, and, since the group of people down there kept growing, Singe figured he'd get into the mix. Seeing as he's all cool like that. Flicking his gold-tipped tails behind him, the Fox sauntered up to Haukea and Orzhov, holding his head high with ears perked.

Why hello there~ He growled, though trying to be nice, he was ready to leap away if anyone...yanno, tried to smack him or something. Poor Singe gets that a lot.

The pilot, on the other hand, had leapt out of his chair in a fluster and stormed out of the cafe, almost losing his hat while doing so. Once outside, the Frenchie glanced around and took off at a run towards where he had seen Singe land. Once he got closer, he darted behind a mailbox and began creeping up (in plain sight) behind the Fox, ready to slide-tackle him into the ground.

Elaine Storm - August 24, 2007 03:39 AM (GMT)
Haukea's tail finally lowered to the ground, peacefully for the most part. The Tiger Organoid gave a slight groan with her face still planted into the ground. At the poke from Orzhov, the feline suddenly jumped away and landed on her back, flailing her paws in the air before rolling onto her stomach, eyes wide as they turned to gaze at the other cat Organoid. "No! I'm not okay! I just got launched into the ground!"

Sighing, she rubbed her messed up face, which was tinged a pink-ish red. Only slightly. It was an embarrassing moment for the tiger, who was usually the oh-so-proud one that bossed everyone else around. She continued to keep her head down, avoiding meeting the eyes of anyone else. She only looked in Singe's direction as he arrived, but did not respond to his greeting and tried to her best to act like he wasn't even there. She wanted to appear as invisible as she could, and sprint off away from everyone as soon as she got the chance...

Rei finally ran up behind Haukea, glancing down at her awkward state suspiciously. Giving his own sigh, the man turned his attention to the woman on the bench. "Ahh...sorry about that. We...didn't know Haukea...couldn't fly...?" That certainly would explain why she crashed into the ground like she did. Rei resisted spinning around and glaring at the Blitz Tiger behind him as she laughed her head off, which sounded more like some giant ill cat trying to roar over and over again.

Haukea twitched before she buried her face into the ground again. Rei ignored the two tigers, and turned his head to watch the man creep up behind Singe. His aqua eyes were narrowed, wondering if he was actually going to be able to pull it off.

Timber Okami - August 25, 2007 04:32 AM (GMT)
Hey, sorry. D: Just seeing if you were alright...

Orzhov jerked his paw back away from the Tiger, and his black headspikes stood streight up when Singe showed up. He'd forgotten about the other Organoid.

Errr... Hi,

Sensing all the danger around, the blind woman slowly gripped her cane and released the lock for the sword inside. Well, she didn't sense danger all around, but something was wrong.

'Come on, Teysa,'

Speaking of the Tricera, she suddenly came snout to tail with the black Konig, and blinked at it. A Sword Wolf and Bio Spiner were standing behind her, looking around the Tricera to figure out why she stopped.

Your kinda in the middle of the road, woofie, the Tricera rumbled, kneading her claws in the ground.

A voice snapped the blind Bio pilot out of her thoughts, and she looked over at Rei. Well... would if she could see, lol. "...it's alright. She just scared us, is all,"

Again, she tilted her head to listen, hearing someone creeping. Looking towards Vex... didnt' do her much good, but she nudged her Organoid, and he looked where she pointed. His jaw gaped slightly, and he quickly looked away.

...it's nothing,

Dragon Koradaku - August 25, 2007 02:45 PM (GMT)
Roukyou chuckled and wagged his tail, one paw pointing in a direction. Me thinks yer Zoidy is over thar. Just go down half a block and turn. The Konig went on with a nod. When the voice rumbled from behind him, the canine spun around. His jaw dropped upon coming face to face with a Bio Zoid but he didn't panic. o.o

's a big road, you can go around! :3 Rouk barked joyfully, tail wagging. It wasn't until a grumbling Bio Liger stomped over and smacked the W00f's head. Stop being a pest. Now move. Century growled, bladed tail flicking. Roukyou muttered something but quickly tromped away. Without so much as a glance to the others, Century followed.

And Cloud suddenly stopped. Luckily, Zack's brain took the sound of quiet boots fast enough. After all, he didn't want to go plowing into the shorter lad. "Why'd you stop?" Zack asked, looking around. He could hear the voice of some man, and the quiet creepings of another. While Zack himself didn't know it, his head turned to where Vex was stalking.

Then Cloud was off again. Ho boy. He easily crossed over to the lady on the bench, unaware of the Organoid trio that was there as well. "Your blind." The pilot stated. Obviously. Zack coughed lightly. "I know that Clo-"

"Not you. Her." The blonde said with an eye roll. Cloud looked around again, watching his Zoid slink off. His gaze lingered on the two Bio Zoids however. Through some unseen force, Zack must have sensed them. His head slowly turned to said Zoids, face blank.

"Bio Zoids?" He asked. They had a different...feel then his own. Never had he sensed Zoids like those before. "Bio Tricera. And.....huh, Bio Spiner. Don't see those much." Cloud put in. Zack only nodded slightly, feeling rather....awkward. From what he could tell, there were three Organoids, that lady, and those two other guys.

Ignoring Zack's obvious distress, Cloud watched Roukyou roll around in some flowers, killing them and possibly some chipmunks. Great.

Sylvan - August 28, 2007 12:19 PM (GMT)
"Well, thank you very much Roukyou."

Colette nodded gratefully and walked on down the street. She got about half way down the road when it hit her that something was not right. For starters there seemed to be an abnormal abundance of organoids, and blind people. Maybe they were here for a convention?

She passed them up and kept walking, until she came to a man hiding behind a mailbox. She watched him creep up on one of the 'noids, a little lost for words.

"Excuse me why are you sneaking up on that organoid?"

Colette had to speak out, so she randomly addressed Vex. Sanding with one hand extended she pointed at Singe.

Sam BlazeGryph - September 1, 2007 10:51 PM (GMT)
As Collette addressed Vex, the Frecnhie he froze immediately as he saw Singe's left ear twitch, trying to locate a sound. Crouching behind the mailbox still, Vex replied. "Zat 'noid over zere? 'E's purebred trouble. And zat's not even scratching ze surface." Vex rolled his eyes for added emphasis.

Winking at the girl, Vex continued forward, then launched himself at Singe, completely ignoring everyone else and therefore looking like a fool in the process. Singe, of course, was ready for this, and swiped Vex across the cheek with his heated tails.

Why do I even put up with you? Singe sighed in the process, still looking at the embarrassed tiger Organoid through the corner of his eye.

Vex had been thrown back and faceplanted on the ground behind Singe, and mumbled something that was fortunately too mumbled to make out clearly. Getting to his feet and brushing off his face, pants, jacket, hat, scarf, etc., he glanced at the two Bio Zoids, which he had to admit was an impressive sight.

Kyuubi had begun sauntering down the streets, sensing where his pilot was but simply deciding to take the scenic route. Solstice circled lower and contacted Vex again.

"Pwned" >D

Elaine Storm - September 15, 2007 03:58 PM (GMT)
(( o.o I srry. ))

Haukea lifted her head up again slowly, glancing around. She wasn't the center of attention anymore (thankfully), and like everyone else turned to gaze at the strange man behind the mailbox. Oho, this should be good... Her maw twisted into a sinister grin, and her tail wagged as she waited for the man to attempt to attack the Fox.

"Do you have to put up with him like that often?" Haukea asked the Foxanoid with a laugh, lifting up into a sitting position. She wondered if she would ever get the change to slap someone across the face with her tail. It'd leave something much different from a burn, and knowing her she probably wouldn't even need a reason to attack someone like that. Haukea had enjoyed watching Vex get owned so much she had completely forgotten about her previous...stunt and that she should be trying to get Moro back for it.

Rei raised a brow at Vex, then huffed and turned his attention back to the woman on the bench, who had been approached by two others. He listened to the conversation with interest, keeping silent. Blind? He thought, tilting his head a bit. Now that someone mention it, she did act and move differently, but only slightly.

"Well that's interesting..." Rei muttered as his gaze lifted up to the Bio Zoids. He marveled at the sight of them, Bio Zoids were always so different looking, but amazing all the same. But why were they, and everyone else here? ._.; He would hate to be blind and surrounded by a bunch of strange people and Organoids.

Timber Okami - September 19, 2007 03:55 AM (GMT)
((Y'kno, as long as this roleplay keeps moving, I dun really care how slow it is. >.>))

The pointy Bio seemed to deadpan at the Wolf, the Spiner behind her hissed darkly at the Wolf, moving to shove past the Tricera and snap his long jaws at the wolf. But the Swordie gently reached a paw up to stop him, and gave the Spiner a look, and he backed down.

The trio watched the Bio Liger get the Wolf to move, Teysa huffed and continued on her merry way, followed by the other two.

They stomped over to Teysa's pilot, keeping their steps as light as they could so she could still hear everything she needed to. Orzhov was paying more attention to the other Organoids, while Dimetri heard Cloud and couldn't help but to smile.

"You catch on quick. You're also the only person here who's actually approached me thusfar," she took one hand off of her cane and offered it to Cloud for a shake.

Teysa walked up and sat behind the bench, like she truly belonged there. The Bio narrowed her eyes at everyone around, and gaped her mouth in a wide yawn... showing off her teeth and letting her horns catch the light.

With her Zoid and friends sitting behind her, she didn't seem worried anymore.

Orzhov chuckled, watching Singe and Vex. The white Organoids's ears flicked a few times, still feeling something off, but he couldn't relaly do anything about it. Oh well.

Huh. Must be nice to have a normal human, the Organoid said without even thinking about it. He didn't notice his partner incline her head that way slightly, but she didn't say anything. It was hard to read her expression from behind her dark sunglasses.

Noid hunters will show up next post, lol

Dragon Koradaku - October 8, 2007 01:45 PM (GMT)
((WELL GEE THAT ONLY TOOK 500 DAYS. D:))

Tail wagging joyfully, Rouk looked up at the nasty snarl. Seeing the Spiner's crocodile face erupt by his own caused a very unWolf-like squeak to come from Rouk's maw. It took all of half a second before Century was there, baring his own golden fangs at the Spiner. His long spiked tail whipped through the air in defiance before he and the Konig strode away to their pilots.

Well! He wasn't very nice. Roukyou commented, head held high. Century rolled his optics. Not everyone can be as happy as you. The Liger grumbled.

The sound of footsteps caused Zack to look around, a slight chill going up his spine as they neared. "The Zoids, right?" He asked, as if they could be anything else. "Thats right..." Cloud murmured in answer. His bright blue eyes turned back to the lady, growing wider with shock at her extended hand.

Cloud wasn't exactly a touchy touch person. Wimp. =/

"I have experience. My friend is blind too." The pilot said, one gloved hand reaching foward to shake with the women's. Zack turned to the sound of his voice, somehow tuning out the Organoid fiasco. But his gaze switched to where the Zoids were, and he could sense a different power source. Bio Zoids, yes, but not the same feeling of his own.

"You have to pilot Bio Zoids, too?" He asked, head turned in the direction of the Tricera.

"She is blind, Zack."

"So? I bet I could pilot a regular Zoid sooner or later." The taller man retorted. He only liked Bio Zoids because he could "see" when piloting them. A regular Zoid couldn't do that. And speak of the devil, here came Century now. Rumbling slightly, the Liger trotted over to his pilot, optics gazing down at him.

Making new friends? He asked. Zack nodded. "You could say that." The male responded. Century said nothing, only looked over his shoulder at Roukyou. The black Konig was staring at the other people and Organoids with a goofy grin. Tail wagging once more, the Zoid extended a paw to poke the Orange Frenchie man.

Cloud's eyes narrowed. "Keep him out of trouble, please." He growled. Century sighed, then glared at the Wolf. Roukyou! Knock it off! No poking the squishes!

Sylvan - October 12, 2007 12:44 PM (GMT)
((OOC: make that 500+1, sorreh guyz D: ))

"Purebred trouble? Oh, no thats no good!"

She instinctively reacted to his words, oblivious to any possible sarcasm that may have been present. As one would when faced with "purebred trouble" she left him to his work. . only to see him end up slapped in the face by the organoid.

As he made his, somewhat inelegant recovery, Colette began to wonder what other deeds this mechanical creature would do. Taking initiative Colette walked forward and past Vex, she addressed the fox.

"You know, that he's purebred trouble."

Colette, pointed a gentle and non-accusing finger at Singe, her sheer obliviousness reaching near unsurmountable odds.
