Indeed, 'twas Ordin, then gunslinger priest. He sat straight up in bed, his sawn-off rifle still pointing towards the door the Doctor had just fled from. A cocky grin marked his face, seeming forced upon the worried look that shone in his eyes. The man wore only a pair of loose black sweats the nurses had dressed him in after sutchering his wounds. It was apparent that he had been through his share of disasters. His upper torso had many disfiguring scars abound, some from slash wounds others from gunshots. The ones that the hacker boy had given him (who now lay in the bed on his right) only added to his score, of which he had lost count of long ago.

He moved his hand to his head awkwardly, as if searching for his old crimson fedora. Finding it missing, he scratched instead and flopped back down into the pillow.

John staggered as the madman slammed into him. He was quick to chase after the man seeing how running out of a room covered in blood was just a wee bit suspicious. John pulled out his pistol and screamed "Stop, now!" but his words did not seem to hinder the doctor a bit. John fired a warning shot aiming for the doctors leg as he was in pursuit.

The bullet hit the doctor's calf muscle, his momentum caused him to trip and fall forward onto his chest and slide on the tile floor. Doctor is bleeding slightly.

The Doctor grasped his leg as he hit the floor. His sword clanged on the ground next to him and bumped against the wall.

He quickly threw himself onto one knee and looked around for who shot at him. That fucking guard down the hall... what the hell? He grabbed his sword.

"What the fuck are you doing, boy? Those people tried to kill me! I was fleeing for my life!" he yelled through clenched teeth, gently messaging the new bullet-hole in his leg.

Trevlac was wild with confusion. Never before had so much happened in one day. It was getting late and the ship was nearing the port. Ordin and a little kid almost died, a doctor flipped out and tried to kill Solomon, and worst yet, Trevlac was beginning to doubt they had the skill for such a mission as destroying Jenova. It just seemed...impossible.

The ship and all submarines pulled into the dock an hour later and Trevlac made his way out of the hospital wing and down the ship's passenger ramp. Immediately he was greeted by the salty sea air and rushing sound of the waves. Trevlac's hair rippled in the wind and glowed like warm honey in the sun. The white sand was glistening like a million tiny diamonds all down the beach. It was a lot different than the cold Icicle Area he grew up in, but Trevlac could get used to this.

Trevlac decided to wait for the rest of the team before setting off down the beach to find the city entrance.

----------------------

Daisuke was wide awake. He had seen some crazy things just happen, and fought a crazy man only to wake up and see more people fighting more crazies. This day was crazy. Rufus must be completely inept if he's also selected this motley crew. Still, wasn't every day that Daisuke got paid before. He casually dressed in his tee shirt and hoodie. Dai decided to leave the direction Trevlac went, through the storage area, rather than the front where that crazy doctor went.

The ship was alive and bustling, everywhere he went, all Daisuke could see was people running about in every direction. He peeked into a couple of areas just to see what was going on, people were scurrying around doing their jobs. It was like watching a hundred bipedal cockroaches swarm around, totally oblivious that someone was watching them work. Humanity, Daisuke thought, is worthless.

Hunger piqued, Dai checked the cafeteria again, since he hadn't been able to get food before and not during the trip either. He pulled out some tupperware (insisted that he take it by his mother) and loaded up on all the awesome meats, pies, fruits, and side dishes. This would be great for later. For now though, he'd have to leave and find Trevlac, who was the only other person to walk out of the boat.

Daisuke walked out of the ship, down the ramp, and onto the beach. Immediately he pulled off his hoodie and stuffed it into his pack. It was hot, dry, sand was getting in his shoes and eyes, and the wind made him choke on even more sand. The salt in the air made his skin burn and the ocean waves sounded threatening and menacing. Overall, this beach sucked and Daisuke wanted to get the fuck off of it as soon as possible. Maybe he'd be able to find an internet café or something in the city.

Edit: When Daisuke is in the cafeteria he notices someone left something behind. Picking it up, Daisuke notices that he has found an user posted image Iron Bangle.

Sunlight burst through the shades, stabbing into Ordin's eyes. He came back to the realm of reality and rolled over angrily. The doctors had him move back to his quarters. His wounds were sutchered and there was no sense in keeping him there. All the better. He got tired of all the white coats.. it creeped him out. He wondered if he would come back. That man. He looked so familiur...

The Priest lay in bed fifteen minutes more, realizing he couldn't sleep, he jumped out of bed. A sharp pain stabbed at his back where the stitches were, but he ignored it.

He dressed quickly, in a pair of jeans and a shirt he stole from a soldier's locker. He threw his red coat over his shoulders, ignoring the arm holes, and tossed his worn fedora upon his scalp. They had arrived in Costa Del Sol while he slept, according to the scenery outside the small window in his room, and he'd be damned if he was going to spend the day in his room.

He flung the door open and was startled (though he didn't show it) by the site of a man standing on the other side. Apparently, the man was startled too, and dropped two letters and a package.

"Sh-shit..." the man stammered, cowaring in front of Ordin's giant form. He stooped and picked up the parcels, holding them out to Wales.

"Uh, righ, you're Ordin, correct?" the man talked quickly and bore the signs of someone who worked in the post room. Ordin stared at him quizzically. This man was strange, and amused him.

"Yeah, that's me." he barked after a while, snatching the package from him. The man turned quickly and walked away even quicker, casting a fearful glance back at the Priest. Ordin had himself a good chuckle and tore open the package. It contained a satchel, which held a few books, a blanket, some clothes. All of his belonging from the Cathedral he worked at back in Edge. He tore open a letter, reading it quickly, he scowled and put it in his coat. He didn't open the other and stuck it in the bag.

...

The huge ball of the sun hung high in the air. A gentle, warm breeeze blew by Ordin's face, tossing the coat that hung around his shoulders. It was very hot outside, a moist hot. Ordin didn't like it.

There were people on the beach, not near the docks, though. They looked happily. There were families having picnics, beefy jocks trying to score with skimpily dressed maidens.. They all looked happy. Not a care in the world. They had no idea there was an inter-planar being trying to destroy the world as they spoke. They had no idea that this strangely dressed priest was toting a gun and would kill any of them at the drop of the hat.

Eventually, he saw something of interest. A café near the beach. Tramping over, he kicks open the door and enters. He sits down at the bar and orders an ale, placing 10 Gil on the table.

Dimitrius sat calmly in his room. A book in his hand as he watched over the slumbering Bella, her wound wrapped tightly as she rested. The book helped him think, for it was an old research journal of his late fathers--on mechanics no less. Seemingly, the man had written notes on GunBlades in its pages, the mechanics, and surprisingly, even some fighting techniques. It was where Dim had first gotten the idea, after all. His head looking up from his book, he wondered what he'd done had he not found a nurse to help him--he had no experience with these things. It's a wonder he hasn't died himself yet.

"Damn monsters," spoke Dim quietly and to himself, so as to not wake the sleeping beauty, "They took them away from me... And now, I almost let another monster take her... If I acted faster, she wouldn't be like this now. No, she wouldn't have an almost broken jaw. What the HELL did I do to help?" Arm resting near hers, he gently ran his hand along her wrist, urging her to be ok. His head looking down towards the ground, his book clattered to the floor as his free hand went to his forehead in contemplation.

Garbed in a fresh set of clothes, casual even, as her original outfit was stained with blood from before--the nurse was kind enough to lend new clothes--the girl in question awoke, with a little bit of a start as her hand instantly went to her collar bone. Stopping just short of her neck as she remembered what happened. Catching the tailend of Dim's self-muttering, she almost instantly replied, raspily as it was a bit difficult to talk, "It... wasn't your fault... Dim..." She smiled sweetly, Dim looking up as he solemnly cracked a small smile, hand grasping her palm firmly.

"Took you long enough, doll. Don't do that again, hear me?" Dim's sarcastic and witty tone already returning as a soft chuckle left the ladies lips. "Got it mate... I... feel well enough to walk. Where are we? Where are the others?" Bel had sat up, slowly as to not agitate her wounds, though they were somewhat healed. "The crew tells me Costa Del Sol. Said it was Trev's decision, if I recall correctly. I think I saw a few of them go into town--why, wanna go look for 'em?"

Bella mouthed a short and blunt "Sure." before fully sitting up, leaning on Dim for support. Looking up at him, she grinned as she took his hand, leading him to the door before Dim stopped, rather abruptly. She turned, a questioning look on her features.

"I almost forgot... Here. Just a little something I thought you should have." Casually tossing one of the Iron Bangles that he found to her, she caught it with ease. Showing that her strength was returning as she equipped it, grabbing her lance as Dim hoisted Fargus. Iron Bangle donned, the spare being in his backpack, along with both their original bronze bangles, to sell for later of course. Thinking on the prospect of gil, he withdrew his pink ShinRa card, seeing the balance read 930 gil as a new day was upon them. Looking at him, Bel did the same. Her eyes widening slightly at the 420 gil displayed. Winking at her, he made for the door as she followed not far behind.

The Doctor awoke with a start. He grabbed his sword instinctively and held it aloft, eyes scanning the darkness for a foe. There was none. It was the nightmares again, playing tricks on his mind. Damn.

Using the blade as a balance, the man in the white lab coat stood up steadily. His wounds throbbed, but were sutchered, rather poorly. He reached into his pocket and withdrew the fire materia he always kept with him. It's soft red glow permiated the darkness and cast a ghastly tinge to the room. He had taken refuge in a broom closet for the night, after escaping from his enemies.

He quickly disrobed, tossing the stolen lab coat and slacks aside. He donned the pin-stripe coat and fedora he typically wore and sheathed the blade at his side.

Kicking open the door, he trodded out. the coat was clear, there was no one around. Quickly and silently, trying to not draw attention to himself, he slipped from the boat and off into Costa Del Sol. The hottness was annoying and the bright sun seared his eyes. He ducked into the shadows and leaned up again a nearby building. Probably a pub or something. Some kids were playing marbles nearby. He watched them out of boredom.

Trevlac had glanced Daisuke a little ways behind him and, not wanting to be talked to right then, sped up toward the town's entrance. All at once the sand stopped and hard golden sandstone bricked his way into town. The closest building was a hotel - that would be handy. Trevlac made a split-second decision to book himself a room for the night. He went to withdraw the 40 Gil for a room when the rather dumpy woman behind the counter addressed him:
"Oh, arena entrants don't need to pay for a room. It's built into the entry fee, didn't you know dear?"

Trevlac: "No I did not. How much is the entry?"

"That's the thing, it's cheaper than just a room here. Only 20 Gil to enter. And that even includes the competator's banquet that takes place tonight."

Trevlac: "Hmm, I could use a good meal, put me up for that if I can register here."

"Okay, all I need is for you to sign these disclaimers, medical insurance, and liability waivers."

The woman seemed to produce a mountain of paperwork out of thin air. But still, a discounted room and a free meal. Not to mention whatever the assumed prize would be for winning this tournament. Trevlac hastily filled out everything he could on the papers and coined the woman 20 Gil. He thanked her and stuffed his bag under his bed and went off in search of a good restaurant.

On the way over Trevlac noticed a bazaar with shops galore. Items here, there, everywhere.

"ARMOR HERE, SELLING ARMOR! WE HAVE YOU BUY!"

Trevlac thought the man was rather rude but as he turned away the man caught his arm and held up a bracelet.

"Strong arms like yours, I bet you're entering the tournament! Get yourself an iron bangle to protect them."

If Trevlac hadn't been so tired from not having slept at all in over twentyfour hours, he would have beat the daylights out of this man for touching him. However, he was merely annoyed and bought the stupid 80 Gil peice of crap from him.

Forget it, I'll eat later, I need sleep right now. Trevlac made his way back to the hotel, too tired to notice any of his surroundings. Like a robot he walked unobservant to his bed and layed down fully clothed.

"So."

Trevlac immediately jumped from the bed and swung his full fist at the man who had spoken. Or...woman? No, definitely a man...but...what? Trevlac's attack missed as he was distracted and confused. He heard a soft laugh that sounded cold rather than amused.

"So, the son of Ehrgeiz is on this continent now? Oh, what a pleasent surprise..." He had a drawling but siniser voice. The man wore makeup, had long smokey silver hair and wore a revealing pink two-piece cotton robe. His pelvis was guarded by a violet metal piece of armor. He looked truely bizarre, though to admit, Trevlac had once impulsively dressed similarly.

Trevlac: "Who are...?"

"Who am I? Yes, you are right, I did not properly introduce myself. Where are my manners? I am Vixdas Lund." The man's voice was mocking and he spoke as if he was in no rush to expell any details as to his sudden intrusion.

Trevlac: "Allright Vixdas, who are you and how do you know my name?"

Vixdas: "I have told you, I am Vixdas Lund. I know your name because it was your father's."

Trevlac: "How did you know my dear old dad?" Trevlac spoke with anger and sarcasm in his voice. It seemed like this time he couldn't control it. He couldn't master it -- no, he didn't want to master it.

Vixdas: "I'm sorry, but that's enough questions for now. I will be at the Sol Tournament. I hope to see you there Ehrgeiz. Ta-ta!" He blew a mocking kiss at Trevlac and walked out of the room. Trevlac ran after him but when he looked outside he saw no one. Trevlac wasn't going to let him pull some cheap trick and run away. He darted down the hall and asked the reception lady if she'd seen anyone come in.

"No dear, but I did hear the window creak open. Although that's probably just dear Mr. Raddock. He has the flu see and he likes the warm outside air."

She trailed off into blabbering jibberish, and Trevlac walked away from her, completely absorbed in his thoughts. How do all these people know me? I was completely alone for years up in that mountain villiage...no one was supposed to know I existed.

Sleep was overpowering Trevlac. No matter what he thought about the moment it didn't matter. Right now he had to worry about right now. And right now he required sleep for the competition tonight. Trevlac got fully undressed down to his night-wear and drew the curtains to block the sunlight. It wasn't long before he was fast alseep.

The sand having it's time with Bella's hair, Dim chuckled a tad. Her dismayed expression more than humorous to him. Entering the seemingly golden-clad city, the pair immediately eyed the Inn, thinking it to be the best place to look for one, or all of the others.

The Inn, perhaps?

I kinda wanted to walk around more... besides... I heard from some of the crew we passed by that the beach is nice this time of year... Wanna go?

Grinning, Dim had almost read her mind as he grabbed her hand, pulling her with as he walked hastily towards the beach. Alright-y then babe.

Giggling at the nickname she quickly followed. Something caught Dim's eye though, as they passed what looked like the town's bazaar of sorts. Shiny. Shiny orbs. And a shopkeeper spouting off offers of Materia. Grinning wider, he suddenly changed direction, pulling Bella with a startle with him as he headed off to the stand.

As he eyed the shiny orbs with glee, his hand reached for his gil as he eyed the shops wares.

Ugh... Men-- OOOooo. Firrrrre...

Hehe, how much for these, shopkeep?

Ordin belted down his ale quickly. It was cold as ice and felt good. Wiping his mouth and handing his pint glass back to the tosser who ran the joint, he peered around. The pub had a light tinge of smoke, and there were a lot of gruff looking blokes around the tables. They swore and gambled like all get out. One in the corner, with an eye patch scowled at Ordin; he chose to ignore it.

A piece of paper caught his eye, it was tacked up to a wooden support beam. It read:

RICHES! FAME! BRAGGING RIGHTS!

The ARENA COMBAT held every four years is being hosted in beautiful COSTA DEL SOL this year! All capable warriors are encouraged to sign up!* Competator's banquet hosted on tonight! Please see respective registrar for proper entry.

*entry fee of 20 gil.

Tearing the flier from the beam, the priest marched over to the bartender.

"Oi," he said, "Can I sign up for this here?"

The bartender, who was wiping down a mug with his apron didn't say anything. He was a portly man, probably in his fourties. Shocks of gray went through his light brown hair and he seemed to have a perpetual scowl. Finally, he looked up, as if only just now hearing what Ordin had said.

"Yar, yee kin. Ba yer gunna hafta cough up twentee geel. Tha' be teh yer liken?" he said gruffly, his voice thick with a cockeny accent.

Ordin nodded and produced two copper 10-gil pieces from his picket, tossing them to the bartend. The heavy-set man bit one, and with a sniff, pocketed it. He then, in turn, produced a large amount of paper work from the blue and set them down infront of the crimson priest.

"Yee hafta be fillin' ou' this 'ere paper werk."

Ordin shrugged and bent low over the paper.

---

The pinstriped swordsman took off his hat and ran his hand through his shock of straw-colored hair. Salty sweat now covered his hand. Then, he saw two people slowly walking away from the huge boat and up to the bazaar. He reckognized them from the hospital ward! With a smirk he left the pseudo-comfort of his shadow and starting traipsing after them. They stopped at a man who sold materia.

Coming up behind them he quickly said "'Ey! You two! Could'n yeh spare a poorman a few coppers?"

Coughing up the 100gil for two fire materia and 100girl for a Restore, handing one fire, and the Restore instinctively to Bella, Dim heard a thick accent from behind.

"Perhaps." Turning, Dim eyed the man's pin striped hat, intrigued by it for some peculiar reason. He couldn't quite put his finger on it. Shrugging it off, he withdrew 40 gil, tossing it to the man as he eyed the Weapon stand furthur off. Gesturing towards it, he pulled Bella along. Looking back towards the stranger mid-walk. Odd, he thought, something doesn't feel right. Hrm, must be my imagination.

Sol slowly opened his eyes and was blinded by the fresh oncoming light. Taking a moment for his eyes to adjust, Sol sat up and rubbed the back of his neck.

Solomon: "Hmmmm. I wonder who bandaged me?"

Quickly puting his shirt on he grabbed for Narcissa, but realized it wasn't where he would normaly place it. Scanning the room he noticed it was proped up next to the door, along with his studded belt. Grabbing his pink money card thingy, he walked toward Narcissa placing the card into his back pocket. Strapping Narcissa to his waist he headed out to find the rest of the group, only to find that they had already docked and left the ship.

Trevlac awoke that night to a knock on his door. He tore the sheets off of his bed and ran to the door, readt to summon magic if need be. As the door opened all he saw was the toadlike face of the sweet lady from the reception area staring at him with a big smile on her face. She looked like she was eyeing a particularly juicy fly.
"Dearie, the tournament will begin in twenty minutes, you should hurry to the arena."

Trevlac: Lady, why didn't you bring this to my attention sooner?" He scoffed. "Nevermind, just move.

Trevlac was on a mission, he needed to see that Vixdas guy at the tournament. He bolted down the hallway, threw open the wooden door to the hotel and banged up the alley toward the arena. Well, really it was more like a collusium...

A giant cyndrilical bowel decorated ornately with gothic arches and white marble was standing where nothing had been the day before. Clearly this was an illusion, but even as Trevlac approached and touched it, the smooth cold marble surface was hard and just as real. Snapping out of delusion, Trevlac ran inside and scouted the area for the man in pink. Only within one minute of scouting did it take him to see the flowing silver hair of Vixdas. Trevlac started to slowly walk over to him.

The swordsman chuckled and scooped up the 40 gil laying on the ground. He crammed it into his coat pocket and watched the two walk hurridly away. He caught the gunblader's eye on his way off and winked. Turning, he traipsed away.

--

Ordin spent thay day wandering around town. A few people reckognized him as a Priest and attempted to start conversations with me about religion. He simply shrugged them off and continued walking.

An hour before the banquet, Ordin returned to the ship. He changed his clothes, donning his traditional Priestly garb. A black hooded cassock with buckles on the arms and stomach. He strapped Fenrir to his side and slipped his boots back on before leaving in a hurry.

The sun was setting and the sky above the arena was already dark. Small pin-pricks of stars dotted the sky over head and the moon shone brilliantly. Many other were also making their was to there, probably all combatants. The building was marvelous, huge gothic arches and gargoyles adorned the outside. The marble was cool to the touch, but a warm aura imminated from the inside, which was brightly lit.

The Priest entered, looking straight ahead. His huge form towered over many of the others, he noticed that some ever appeared to be intimidated by his size.

Darius was sitting in the only other seat in the helicopter. They were currently flying over the sea that seperated the two continents, and had been doing so for the last few hours. Then, the pilot's radio beeped, and he picked up the transmitter, and spoke into it, depressing a button on the side as he did, "Helicopter 002 here." From the radio itself, when he released the button, came a man's voice. The radio garbled it a bit, so he wasn't entirely certain how old the owner of the voice was just by listening to them. The person said, "Helicopter 002, have you picked up my guest?" Darius guessed that it was Rufus who was on the other side from the context, as the pilot then responded in the affirmative.

Rufus then requested to speak with Darius privately, at which point the pilot took out a set of ear-phones, plugged them into the radio, and then passed them over to Darius, who slipped them on. He then said into the transmitter, "Uh, this is Darius Elrich." "Ah, Darius, I had been hoping to speak with you before you arrived in Junon." The president of Shin-Ra Inc replied. He then continued, saying, "Allow me to explain what I have already told the others you will be working with."

He then proceeded to tell Darius a story that he hardly believed. After all, who could just outright believe that something that was supposed to be long dead, having been killed twice, was still alive and well, and drinking the life-stream no less? However, Rufus then said, "I will be paying you for your work on this task. Now, with that out of the way, you have a small selection of places to go to. It seems that most of your would-be companions have headed off to Costa Del Sol for some reason, so you could meet up with them there. You could also go to find that cave I told you about, to try and find the item that could help to destroy Jenova. It is your decision."

He then pretty much hung up, and so Darius reached forward and pulled the ear-phones' plug out of the radio, before handing them back to the pilot, who stored them away again. The blue mage then leaned back in his seat, and thought for a little while, before saying, "Takes us over to Costa Del Sol. I don't feel like checking out that crater until I'm certain I have some people to back me up in case things go south quick." the pilot nodded, and turned the helicopter around, and began flying them to the resort town. It was starting to get dark, and he sincerely hoped they'd get to the place before the others had gone to sleep, so he would at least know where they were staying.
