Carly opened the door to see a crying Olivia standing before her. She ushered her inside and shut the door.
"I'm sorry about what happened," Carly said as she and Olivia sat on the couch.
"I always had a feeling that something bad would happen," Olivia said, drying her eyes with a tissue.
"Is there anything I can do?" Carly asked, wanting to help her best friend.
"You're helping me enough by just listening," she told Carly. Carly pulled Olivia to her and hugged her.
"You know I'd do anything to help you," Carly whispered into Olivia's hair. Blue eyes met brown and before either of them realized what was happening, Carly was leaning in and pushing her lips to Olivia's.
They pulled away when they were breathless.
"We can stop if you want to," Carly said, her forehead resting against Olivia's.
