Sorry, I can't argue with you on this one Renagade.
I'm not really big on religion, but I do follow it mainly as a guideline and not down to the bone. Whoever decided that Gay Marriage should be forbidden within certain religions is completely self absorbed. Honestly, how many times does religion ask us not to judge others? To raise our families this way and to ask God for forgiveness blah blah. He loves us all equally.
Yet, they turn around and preach to us that homosexuallity is a sin. "You're not getting into heaven if you're gay because God doesn't love you." It's a pile of bull. Murder is a sin. Being gay is not a sin.
Where is the line that seperates sins from righteousness? If you're gay, you're gay. You can't change that, well you can try and turn your back on it. But wouldn't you rather live a happy life than a fake one? It's not an easy subject and that's everyone's fault for not excepting differences. Religion itself has NOTHING to do with the discrimination against homosexuallity. It's the people that run the Church. It's people.
