Spam
Excessive spam will not be tolerated. If you are caught spamming a lot you will be warned, and if you continue, you will be banned. Constantly posting topics in all caps counts as spam, as well as annoying staff and other members. The most harshly punished type of spam is posint short two or three word posts, or posts that have no relation to the subject matter.


Sexual Themes
If you are caught with any images of sex and/or pornographic images you will be given a warning, and the image will be deleted. The same applies to links. We do not want this site turning into a porn site. Less seriously is if you refer to sex strongly through words, which may be deleted if heavy, and could result in a warning.


Racism
Producing anything on these boards that demonstrate racism may lead you into being banned. We trust that you will be intelligent enough to not produce posts of such hideous nature.


Profanity
Light swearing is allowed on these forums as long as you do not use it to make others feel bad. Also if you are caught swearing more than a quarter of the time you will be warned and eventually banned. You can control swearing online much easier than in the real world (hopefully), so let's try to keep Fission Effects a friendly place to be.


Advertising
Advertising is strictly forbidden. If you are caught advertising then your link will be removed and you will recieve a warning. You may however include a small link or graphic linking to your site in your signature. Nothing huge or over the top though. If your signature advertisement is ever removed, then do not put it back or you will be restricted from editing any content in your signature for the next 30 days.


Attitudes
Treat others the way you would want to be treated. If you continually criticize others with unnecessary harshness you will eventually be banned. All members and especially staff must treat other members of this forum with respect.


Disrespect Toward Authority
Any direct or indirect and harsh insult toward staff will not be taken lightly. If you diss a staff member, you are basically dissing the boards. Just bear in mind that if you piss of a moderator or especially an admin, we have the power to ban you. And since you are making us angry we will more than likely use that power.


Avatars
You can have any avatar you wish, as long as it does not demonstrate sexual themes, racism, etc. You may download animated avatars. The size limit for an avatar is 150x150. If you try to get around that size limit you will be warned.


Signatures
You can have any signature you wish, as long as it does not demonstrate sexual themes, racism, etc. Signatures can not be too big. If they are found to be too big they will be changed, and if you change them back, you will be warned. Signatures are too big are those that stretch the page or take more than a second to scroll past.


Requesting Graphics
You can request any graphic to made that you want so long as you follow a few basic rules. You must have at least 30 posts so that you will be contributing something to the forum in return for your graphic. You must also not complain about how long something takes to make or ask if its done yet. If it was done yet it would have been posted. People on the forum do have lives that will probably interfere with them being able to make your graphic within the first few days. Besides, its a free service, if you want something done fast then I reccomend offering some forum credits.


Copyright Material
If you are caught ripping any part of anything -- a skin, graphic, written piece, etc. -- you will be warned, and the material will be removed.


Banning
You must agree that you can be banned at any time with no warning. We always have reasons for banning. If you try to reregister you will probably be banned again.

The Fission Effects Skin
The current skin being used by Fission Effects is not allowed for use by anyone under any circumstances. This also includes the image set that we are using. If you are caught ripping any part of the fission effects skin, then I will contact Invisionfree, and your forum will be shut down, no questions asked.


Contact
The fastest way for us to get back at you would be via PM or email. You can also use an IM service if the staff is online and allows it, although you have to keep in mind they are often very busy and would prefer PM or email instead.


PM Advertising
This is not an accident. If you are found PM advertising you will be banned with no say whatsoever.
