Filcosplay to migrate to Cosplay.ph!, *FC will now leave Invisionfree*

Dear Filcosplay Members,

This is to inform you that starting September 1, 2007 Filcosplay will have a new home from Invisionfree to vBulletin, the new forum is now located at this URL:

http://www.cosplay.ph//forums/

You can also access it in the Cosplay.ph website under the "FORUM" menu link.

The new forum will have a new layout, new features such as FC Card Shop, the Coin System and Games, and it will be much more fun and interactive than our last one. It is still up for improvement so suggestions and comments are most welcome.

Will there be any drastic changes, and what will happen to the old FC? The questions are answered as follows:

• The Invisonfree membership database will no longer be used. Requests to Invisionfree to merge the database of this forum and Cosplay.ph's has been unanswered for almost 4 months. To avoid any further delay, the FC Admin and its mods have agreed to abandon the old FC database and instead use Cosplay.ph's. So FC Members who do not have any accounts in Cosplay.ph and yet wish to be a part of the forum should apply now. Its still free and easy to do.
• All post counts in the new forum will start at ZERO. Everything starts fresh.
• All old data in FC will still remain as an ARCHIVE. The old forum can still be accessed and viewed by the public for reference but can no longer post or add threads.
• All rules still apply to the new forum, so even if you still have not seen any specific rules posted in the new forum, moderators are and will uphold the old system until revised or changed.
• URL's http://www.fil.cosplay.ph and http://www.filcosplay.tk will still be active but will now forward you to http://www.cosplay.ph/forum.

These changes will start on SEPTEMBER 1. We hope the new forum will still continue to inspire this community to continue having fun cosplaying and discussing cosplay (as well as other things).

Here's to Filcosplay taking bigs steps forward.

augh~ mami-miss ko tong old FC forums... for 4 months na member ako dito... hehe. ^___________^

kita-kits na lang sa kabila (at brand new) na forum boards. XD

Mga topics na gusto niyo ituloy, pwede kayo gumawa sa new forums. Parang Part 2 ng threads dito. Pero kung gusto niyo maghanap ng mga lumang posts sa topic na tinuloy niyo pwede pa rin i-research dito sa lumang FC boards.

Mamimiss ko na yung forums dito.

Anyway, sana naman masasanay ako sa bagong forums.

You have to be a registered member of Cosplay.ph to be a registered member of the new Filcosplay Forums. Here's what you do para sure:

1) Go to Cosplay.ph and log in there.
2) Click on the "FORUM" menu link.

You should be inside and able to edit your profile, post and start threads.

Filcosplay isnt disappearing, we're just moving. This actually solves that dreaded "double registration" problem we had before, that you should apply to both CosPH and FC to enjoy their sites, even if FC is the official forum of CosPH. Now with the move and us using just CosPH's membership database, we totally eliminate the need to double register. CosPH and FC is now one of the same.

CosPH was co-created by the admins and mods of FC, so its natural we eventually merge.

everytime i log in the new filcosplay forums..when it is already logged in...den i go to a thread...it will automatically log out...how is that?

Try logging in, if it happens again, while on the same page refresh your cache by pressing F5. It should log in again automatically.

Logging out sometimes happens automatically when you spent too long on a page without posting anything, like about 30 mins to an hour. This is to prevent possible flooding.

If the first suggestion doesnt work, we'll try to debug it asap.
