In the light of recent inquiries about why not all pics are accepted despite having passed the technical requirements (no blur, good composition, etc), here are the reasons why:

(1) Repetitiveness: despite being good pictures, having 5 to 10++ good pictures of the same group or single cosplayer is too much (We usually accept the same cosplayer or group if done in a different pose or angle).

(2) The picture is all about the cosplayer/s: We get lots of good pics but with either the contributor's friend/family or the contributor themselves inserted among the cosplayer/s being photographed. We may accept some as a form of thanks for having contributed, but please keep in mind that overall, Cosplay.ph galleries is an event album, to be used as a source of information.

This also applies to contributors who are cosplayers themselves. Having the same contributor cosplayer show up at every picture with other cosplayers falls under Repetitiveness, and may not be accepted under that condition.

(3) Subject's Dignity: Sometimes its fun to take shots of cosplayers in their most awkward moments, but Cosplay.ph has the right to reject perfectly good pics that might injure the dignity and integrity of the cosplayer featured in your photograph, unless the picture is approved, requested or submitted by the subject themselves.
