Grabe ang ganda ng Cosplay Magazine. Favorite parts ko yung "The Technicraft" atsaka yung "Hair dyeing" nice.

Sana mas madami pang malagay na facts or cosplay tips gaya noong "technicraft".

Cosplay Magazine is now available at branches of Filbar's. We will also provide copies to CSCentral on Monday. Some branches of Book Sale will also have it, but your best bet is Filbar's and CSCentral.

Just bought the mag last month.

It's so cool, especially the articles about the events and the cosplayers.

The magazine was good.

Doon sa angel sanctuary part photoshoot, mabuti siguro kung hinigan ninyo ng little information about their costume.. o kaya a little interview man lang.

kase some anime fans would probably know about the anime or the characters in the photos, kaya it may appear boring to them.. mas okay siguro kung may konting voice from the people in the photos.

Nagustuhan ko yung how to bleach the hair, at saka yung brooch making. Very helpful.

nagustuhan ko ren yung convention calendar, altho mas okay kung mas marami.

okay din yung cosplay shopping 101, pero sana mas madami pang info.

it may also be nice if we hear some experiences from these cosplayers to get to know them more.

The Magazine,,
is so nice lalo na yong mga articles and events kasi nakakatuwang basahin
and i learn more about cosplay lalo na yong mga
anime characters....

Umm I would just like to share my comments and opinion on the 2nd Issue magazine.

PROS:

The articles were very good and it was very entertaining and I learned some stuff in creating props ^_^ The Con reports were also very nice and the topics about J-Rock or J-Pop was also interesting.

CONS:

Sad to say the printing was a bit off... Some of the pictures were either blurry or had color lines that were out of place T_T It also needs more hobby articles other than what is "uso" today ^_^ I would be much more entertained if there were some hobby articles that I can relate to like video game articles and clothing fashion guide, etc. ^_^

(From my opinion to the Cosplay.ph team concerning the Succubus thing)

Umm... I'm really so sorry for sadly telling you this but I wasn't very enthusiastic with the outcome of that piece in the magazine.. I also didn't like some of my pictures there that I didn't look too good...(It looked like I was constipated or something >_<) I felt like I was just (added/stucked/*sinigit*) in the magazine.. The details about me were not enough and some of my pics were already in my Cosplay Resume.. I would have given you guys more information or pictures to complete the data about me if you asked me and I would've gladly and happily given it ^_____^ And I also felt that the only reason why I was on that mag was because of the cover and the article was just added just because of that..

I really should say that if you guys just wanted me for the cover, then I wouldn't have expected so much from myself from the magazine T_T I would've gladly accept the invite with no hesitation if it was only for that purpose ^_^ I'm really sorry if its a very personal opinion to you guys but that's what I felt after reading the magazine over and over and over again today from the moment my significant other bought the magazine (I'm speaking from what my heart truly tells me T_T).

I'm really sorry for laying it out on you guys so badly but it is how I really felt T_T Hontou ni gomen nasai for upsetting you or making you infuriated with me.. I know I should be grateful and to be in your debt that you even considered me to be included in the magazine(I am truly grateful!!! ) but... I'm just so not happy with the results because for me, I only looked like I wasn't even worth the trouble..

I am truly very sorry... Please don't hold this piece against me or if ever any new cover guy/girl would have the same reaction as me.

1) I was just informed by Psicom Publishing that there were problems with the printing. It seems they just acquired a new printer and in the rush to release issue number 2 (which was horribly, horribly delayed) there were problems with the color. I have personally not seen the magazine yet, but the problems you described with blurriness and unaligned color lines are symptoms of this.

2) We also wanted to feature more cosplayers in this second installment, so we decided upon having interviews with two cosplayers instead of just one. We also used a smaller font in the second issue so we could put more information into it.

3) Concerning video games and other hobby articles, we are keeping a wide berth from these as Psicom already has a gaming magazine, Gamex, and a toys and hobbies magazine, Hobbycraft.

I guess the question we really have to ask is if a Cosplay Magazine can stand on its own merits or if it needs fluff from other hobbies to fill the pages and sustain interest. There are different avenues that we can take, however, for instance certain genre costumes or the J-music costume scene (which was discussed in issue #2), etc.

4) I will discuss your specific article with the rest of the Editorial Team. In this case, I was not present during the interview or photo-taking session. Although I did do the layout for the particular article, the text and photos were simply sent to me.

5) Honestly, we are really trying our hardest to produce a good quality magazine that caters to the Cosplay Community or anyone else interested in cosplay. We struggle with restrictions put on us by the publisher while juggling our regular work with the demands of a publication made from scratch.

None of us receive a salary for our participation in this publication, we simply do it because we feel it needs to be done - that the cosplay community's voice should be heard and that cosplay should be represented responsibly by the people who value the community and the people in it.

In my opinion Issue 2 is much better than issue 1.
