BUHOK!, wigs, temporary hair color, etc.

Hindi ko alam if katulad niyo ko na ang isa sa mga big problems sa pagco-cosplay ay ang BUHOK. Ang sagot diyan ay wig o temporary hair color, if ayaw niyo ng permanent hair dye. Pwede rin matanong e yung iba't-ibang style ng buhok, o paano ba ipapataas na mala-punk ang buhok, saan nakakabili ng hair products na pwede, etc.

So yun ang purpose nitong thread na ito.

Ang tanong ko po: saan ba makakabili ng murang wig, o di kaya e temporary hair color (mas ok if spray) na affordable? Mahal kasi wigs e, P1000+ sa SM, tapos wala na yung mga hair color spray dati.

The store where polence and the other sources tour went was in tutuban center mall. I usually go there when one of my friends need a waist lenght wig, probabaly white. The salesldy already know me so they give me discount to it.

The wig that we bought costs 1,500 - 1,600 which is already waist length. I don't know if there are other wig stores.

Go for Rien's suggestion, or try Kool-Aid.

and acrylic paints will get you into worse trouble, like what happened to a classmate whose head happened to catch a paintbrush laden with lightblue acrylics

I think its done like this: you wrap your hair in silverfoil, with some dampened koolaid color/flavor of your choice and then...ewan ko na ang susunod....

yup, koolaid stains, so some people use it on their hair.

Do not use liquid paper on your hair. I was younger and stupid, and learned the hard way.

Kool-Aid's useful if you want to dye your hair in red or other colors, right? Hirap kasi I need my hair to be really light in color, almost white. Shoulder length cya at meyo... wavy Hmm, guess I'll need to visit that wig shop in Divi after all... *gastos* Hehehe.

if you want almost white hair na hindi mo na kailangang masyadong magpagastos, do what I did... bleach it. *snicker* go to any hortaleza shop and ask the sales lady *very* nicely how to bleach your hair. bibigyan ka niya nang kailangan mo para sa pagpapableach.

some parts of my hair are almost white because of the bleach thati've been doing and since i need it for my ivy cosplay last g2.

although, kung mahina ang hair mo, madaling masira at magputol-putol. XD at mas maganda kung magble-bleach ka nang hair, patulong ka kasi di mo mapapantay magisa yung pagkulay nang buhok mo XD

Meron po akong nakitang henna hair dyes na about 30-100 sa Market Market. ^_^ Or punta ka sa beauty parlor and dun ka bumili ng hair dyes na nagwawash-out after a day. May ganun, hindi ko lang alam kung saan na parlor. x0

Subukan ko bukas mag Kool-Aid sa buhok (and hopefully take a pic), sana na lang gumana.

ahhh try nyo na din sa hortaleza shops, they may have a solution for the temporary dyes. meron silang mga stock i think iba't ibang kulay ^^

Sadly most Hortaleza stores began pulling out their old products and replacing it with new one, yung "hortaleza" na yung brand name. So I suggest you go to every Hortaleza branch. Meron din hair mascara pero pang highlights lang yun. Pero washable.

Malas ko lang walang white wig sa Nee-Ko at di nila alam kung kelan ulit sila magkakaroon. Medyo me kamahalan din, yung di pa waist length is P1,700! *isip isip* I think I could try bleaching, but my office's dress code doesn't allow us to have *outstanding* hair color (highlights lang pwede).

yes the original prize nyang ganyan pero pag kilala ka na or suki ka na (tulad ko XD) aabutin ka nang mga 1,500 lang nyan ^^
