an RPG based off of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series
I. Basics
-all posts must be 2 paragraphs long, or at least 10 sentences
-all posts must be written in third person
Wrong: I walked across the room to stare in the mirror.
Right: She walked across the room to glance at herself in the mirror.
-one character per account
-you cannot post until after you've been accepted
-you may join as a Lycanthrope [Were_____], Human or Vampire
-no character can die/be killed without The Jester's consent
-you can only be in one place at a time, meaning, one thread
-please label your thread "R" if it contains content that may be found unsuitable for people under the age of 16. If you are unsure what your thread should be rated, PM The Jester
-gay and bisexual characters are allowed
-any and all species can live together; all species reside within Las Vegas
Lycanthropes:
-can be of any 'flavor' but weretigers, wereleopards, wererats and werewolfs are encouraged and most common (others are allowed if stated in the application)
-must be a part of the local pard for wereleopards or pack for werewolves, etc.
-immune to any and all diseases and illnesses
-high body temperature
-can get pregnant but miscarry during shift- justation period is determined by their strand of lycanthropy
-change form on the full moon
-are uncontrollable first shift
-often times are forced to shapeshift with very strong emotions such as arousal, lust or anger
-really powerful shapeshifters can do partial changes
-heal rapidly but silver can kill them and both silver and vampire wounds heal human-slow
-have a tendency to like rarer meats if of a predator's line
-can have gotten lycanthropy from a faulty vaccine or from the animal itself
-must feed in animal form
-if you wish to challenge for Ulfric/Lupa or Nimir Ra/Nimir Raj, the people above you must all be defeated in battle unless forfeited and the the current Ulfric/Lupa or Nimir Ra/Nimir Raj must be fought 'till the death (please contact an Admin before Ulfric/Lupa or Nimir Ra/Nimir Raj challenges are placed)
-can become animal servants to master vampires if they are of the vampire's animal to call line
-the Master of the City, Alira's, animal to call is the tiger, so weretigers are preferred
Humans:
-are easily killed
-weak
-can be psychics, necromancers, animators or clairvoyants
-religion wards off vampires with the use of a holy object or incantation of a prayer or hymn
-can be given vampire marks and are vulnerable to vampire's mind tricks
-can become human servants to master vampires
Vampires:
-vulnerable to holy objects such as holy water and crosses, crucifixes, etc.
-immune to all diseases and illnesses
-hard to kill unless by silver, stake through heart, burning or beheading
-immortal unless killed
-'die' from dawn till sundown
-cannot be exposed to sunlight- burn if so
-cannot ingest solids or liquids other than blood
-rarely smoke or have addictions because they are often painful
-can give vampire marks to humans
-can use mind tricks on humans
-have eyes that can perform vampire tricks on humans
II. Characters
-try to make each "species" of character relatively even
-all characters must follow the application form in the application board to even consider being accepted
-all characters should have commitment and an interest in the Anita Blake books
III. Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll
-all creatures CAN have intercourse and/or participate in other sexual activities
-please label your thread "M" if it contains mature content that may be found unsuitable for people under the age of 14 If you are unsure what your thread should be rated, PM The Jester
-rape/sex/relationships & pregnancy are ALL allowed
-pregnancy amongst vamps & humans and lycanthropes & humans is extremely rare, complicated and painful
-the number of pregnancies will be regulated by the admin so if you're told you will be having a miscarriage, suck it up and deal with it
-relationships may also occur between vampires & humans & lycanthropes
-drugs are allowed, but keep in mind they're technically "illegal", so any and all drug dealing is done on the black market
IV. Punishment
-I do NOT mess around. If you do not follow the rules, goof off or give me another reason to punish/ban you, I will.
First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: 3 Day Ban
Third Offense: 1 Week (7day) Ban
Fourth Offense: Banishment from the Game

-this website is based on the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series by Laurell K. Hamilton
-all cannon characters and information/names are copyright to her and no infringement is intended
-any and all information regarding the books for the use of this website can be found within the books themselves or online at various sources
