Falaca the Roleplaying City

After leaving his temple, Lennox rides on the back of Nyx through the air. Touching down just one the backside of the Juinshi springs, he climbs off the back of Nyx, " Wait here."
Sovern walks into the Juinshi village, his feet parting the dusty paths of the street, as his eyes scan his surroundings. Seeing no villagers present he procceds to walk toward the largest structure in the village. His eyes shift slowly, to windows, as he notices someone peering out at him, as his gaze turns, the window shuts swiftly. He begins to take notice to seemingly all the houses doing something of this nature, as if avoiding him.
He reaches the large structure, " Is this it?"
" Has to be, there's no where else to go."
Lennox pushes the large door of the structure open. Upon walking inside the structure the door closes behind him, he looks forward seeing a group of three men kneeling in a wide room befor ehim. He approaches them.
" Why have you come here..?" Asks one of the men.
"I am looking for something.."
" Well I assure you, you will not find it here."
" Really, becaus eI assure you.. it is here.. within this village."
The three men look up, eyes widening.
" You're sovern.. the god of darkness.. Leave this place at once.."
" Not until I get what I want. I didn't travel here to return empty handed. Now please, be a good host, and show me where the blade of Nung Tu Zen is kept..."
" Never you fool. We will destroy you.. we are the Elders, designated to protect the blade."
Lennox chuckles, " Then maybe you would like for me to destroy the lives of all the innocent people in this village? Remember, if you help me.. when I come to power I will aid you. I will spare your village and it's people."
The elders' eyes widen as they drop back to their knees, almost in disbelief. " We have no choice but to abide by your whim, we will lead you to the blade."
The Elders rose, signalling Sovern to follow them as they walked into the back.

Dark Descendant rose from from the beam she had been knelt upon, Above the rafter of the building. Her eyes narrowing upon the form of Lennox Sovern, Gleaming orbs never leaving his form.

'STOP!' She called out, Her voice ringing out, Echoing around the scared building, The three men turned almost immedietely, Eyes widened at the fact the Goddess of Balance had come here.

She leaps from the beam, Landing swiftly a knee, Her gaze remaining upon the form of Lennox Sovern. She shakes her head slightly towards his form, Strands of electric black hair flowing out behind her form.

Her stone wings seem to gleam slightly, Sending a loud thud around the room as she lands upon her knee, She slowly rises, Gaze remaining transfixed upon the man that had given orders to the three elders.

' This is a sacred building, You are not of sacred blood, You are from the deepest depths of darkness, Leave this place at once.' Her gaze shifted to the three elders. 'And what elders are you, To give in to this fiend's threats?! I am here to restore balance before you three make a mistake that will cost you your lives. Do not be threatened by this fiend!! The greater light always shines through the darkness, The darkness is always demolished! Do you not go by these teachings you cowards!!"

She shakes her head towards the form of Lennox Sovern. A visable aura of light now becoming clear around her form as she stands, Her voice still ringing out around the sacred tomb.

'I will not allow you to go ahead, That I won't. Leave this sacred place at once, Your kind must not taint the good with your crooked, Disgusting...Flesh eating disease of darkness.'

Her gaze locks upon his form. Fists coming up infront of her form, Seeming to be mere blurs as she swiftly brings them up infront of her form. Piercing orbs never leaving the dark form of Lennox Sovern.

'Come now, If you do not wish to leave...I have no choice other than to destroy you!'

[O.O.C - I thought I'd make it interesting..]

" Ah welcome fallen one." Cackles Sovern. " You do know.. this is the real world.. good does not always conquer evil.. You will not win simply because of your alliance.." His eyes flicker, and the lighting of the buidling dies, " Granted, now is not the time I shall face you.. but soon enough.." Casting Sneak, he limberly evades the presence of the Dark Descendant. His frame hidden in a dark hole in the wall, unnoticable. Then pulling out his bow, he shoots one of Elders, striking their knee. Then his voice is heard, echoing through the structure. " I want the artifact, or I will start on the towns people.."

Lennox sneaks across the floor, rushing to one of the lighting torches.. using the flint and kerosine to light a number of arrows a blaze. Placing all the arrows in his bow, he pulls back the string on his bow. Flickering to the front door, he kicks it open, then firing the numerous blazing arrows into the village striking the straw roofs of the villagers houses. As the arrows collide, you can see the houses instantly, blazing up. Sovern closes the door, locking it with the key hanging form inside the handle. Then darting back into the darkness his frame hidden from detection once again, as his voice calls out..
" The blade, or you condem the villagers to death.. I will not let you leave. The door is too thick even for you Fallen one.. so what's it to be.. will you willingly condem those innocent people to death over a simple artifact..? Or will you do the senible thing and give me what I came for?" He says, peering around one of the columns hoolding the structure up, down a long row of them.

A look of hatred os seen cleraly across her pale face. Her eyes locking upon the area inwhich the voice came from. Ocean blue orbs narrowed, Transfixed upon the area in which she heard the voice of the demon.

Her gaze shifts to the door and then to the elders once more, Her fists clenching slightly at her side. This was indeed a horrid predicament, If she did give up the sword he would indeed use it for evil therefore disturbing the balance of the Earth but if not, More innocent people would die. Again disturbing the balance.

One thought then swirled into her mind as she remembers the teachings that she had encountered when she was a younger girl.

She nodded slightly to herself before speaking to the Dark God - Lennox Sovern.

' I am not one to back down when threatened. You will not have this sword!! I can not allow your pure evilness to taint the blade, That I can't. My decision is final and if you wish so to have the blade, Then fight me! Do not hide in the shadows like a coward. Or are my really misjudging you? Are you infact a coward that hides in the darkness? One that strikes from the darkness, You spineless toad! Fight me now. I will NEVER allow you to claim the sword!'

Lennox cackles, "Seems you've misjudged me entirely.. I am not fleeing from, I do recognise that at this point, you are far more well equiped than.. One who is hasty to battle is sure to fall. Do you think I would honestly be that ignorant..? Our time will come for battle, but it is not now. So either you let those people parish invien, or save them.. Because if do not retrieve the artifact now, I will return again.. And you will not always be around to stop me." his frame shifts to the side another column hidding himself in a better position.

Dark Descendant's gaze narrows as the cackle of the God Of Darkness reaches her ears. She growls slightly. A tone of annoyance clearly in her tone. Her pale blue orbs darting about as she tries to find out where the God is hiding.

' If you are not a coward, You would indeed show yourself. And as I've already said. I will not allow you to taint the blade with your pure evil! Therefore I will not hand the blade over. I will always come to protect the people of Falaca and to stop the stages of your evil ways! Ever turn you make, I will always make sure there is a blocked end waiting! I will be that blocked end. I will block you from harming the villagers of Falaca and from carrying out your evil plans, That I will!'

She says harshly, Her tone echoing throughout the room. Gaze shifting to the locked large doors. Orbs narrowing slightly as her ocean blue gaze continues to shift onwards. Averting off each pillar. Trying to find the form of Lennox Sovern.

Lennox Sovern shakes his head walking out into the light, " Where it is that this determines wether or not I am a coward has yet to be shown.. Also, you claim you always come to protect the people of Falaca, yet you set inside this temple as the people of the Juinishi Village burn.. over a blade, I'm not even sure you know what it truly is.. " His index finger rubs at his chin as he walks from shadow to light past each column, one of the temple elders fleeing into the back.
" I have the key," he says stepping behind the shadow of a column, " If you are a protector of the people simply give me the blade, and you will be free to save them. None of this greater good babbling.. For you are the 'Goddess of Balance' yet you keep things turned in the favour of the good. Seems rather biggoting if you ask me. Should things not atleast be even? I do not see where me aquiring the blade upsets any balance, you've not the slightest Idea of my plans for it. You've not inquired upon my dealings with the blade, or why I want it.. You just assume yourself the role of a 'Hero'. Tch, some goddess of blance, who always plays the side of good. Where's the maintaining of balance? If you will intervene in my every bidding yet allow those of the light to do as they please, then where is it you keep the balance?" Lennox questions, his frame no longer tracable as his voice seems to move across the room.
