Falaca the Roleplaying City

Upon investigating the depths of the dark forest, Lennox comes across a largue ruin, apparently abandoned for centuries.. He approaches the temple structure, " I can only imagine the riches that fill these walls." His hand gliding up and touching the front of the base, His eyes begin to glow, as a series of ancient writings along the wall blaze up instantly with his touch. The temple seems to pull him through the wall into the interior of the ruin. Upon arriving inside the temple, Lennox staggers a bit, unsure of what had just occured. He shakes his head, " Whoa.." He turns looking at the wall, touching it again feeling the solid stone, " How the .."
" Welcome mysterious one."
Not turning as expected, he merely tilts his head down, " And where exactly am I being welcomed too?"
" Hahaha," cackled the Unknown, " Why, the Falaca Temple of Darkness, of course. Where else?"
" I do not know, I am quite new to this land.."
" Yes, we know.. you're arrival has been anticipated for a century's time."
" What do you mean anticipated?"
" come, follow me to the lower dungeons, all will be explained."

Upon following the Unknown down to the lower dungeons, then through deep catacombs, Lennox finally arrives to what appears to be some form of ceremonial room.
" What is this place?" Lennox asks.
" Our sacraficial chamber.. it's not been used for some time.. but with your arrival, we hope to change that."
Lennox's eye brow raises upon hearing the Unknowns remark, " What do you mean, you hope to change it?"
" Why with you, throned as the new God of darkness, through out the land of Falaca, we hope you will reign down terror and destruction across the land."
" So you wish for me to do your bidding? I'm sorry, I'm just a thief.. I'm no lord of Tyranny.."
" Hahaha, you have very little choice in the matter young Lennox, You were chosen, it will be you who takes the dark Throne."
Then suddenly, the Unknown seems to become somewhat transparent, almost ghost-like. Then numerous other ghostly figures fill the room.
" What is this? You've tricked me."
" Tricked you? No.. Empowered you.. Shortly." And a cackle rings out, as the figures converge on Lennox, swirling around his frame, then seeming to become one with the man. He drops to one knee, almost choking for a split second, then standing back to his height. A notable change has occured in the man, his eyes seem to carry a distant dark red glow, like the Unknown had previously shown. Lennox's fist clenches tight, his arm seeming to ripple with dark energy, the flowing black streams of dark matter cling to his forearm and fist, his eyes widen, then he chuckles, his laughter echoing through all of Falaca.

Lennox returns to the Temple, his frame masked in shadows, The Unknown whispers in his head, " Come let us go to the Catacombs, and perform the godding Ceremony."
Sovern walks down to the back of the Catacombs beneath the Dark temple.
Touching the wall, the ancient scriptures light up, " Read them to yourself, then aloud. Envoke the power of Darkness, that dwells with in Falaca."
Doing as he is instructed, Lennox reads the scriptures, to himself, then aloud. The wall begins to glow red, opening in the center is a black swirling portal. A beam of red and black colors spirals form the portal striking Lennox's chest. Knocking him from his feet, he lay on the floor of the Catacombs, seemingly unconscious.
" Now we wait." Says another Unknown.

What do you mean, ' Do not double post.'? I can't help it no one else on this forum wants to roleplay.. So I make my own story because no one ever responds.. it's kind of boring. But oh well.. what else can I do? I need to earn some money some how to get the stuff worthy of a god of darkness.. sure posts only give me 5 gold pieces.. but how am I suppose to get any money if no one else puts forth an effort besides you and I?

The rules clearly state that you are not allowed to Double-Post to gain gold. You will have to wait for others to roleply in your topic.

Well then I think you should make it mandatory for people to post atleast twice a week, because aside from you and I, when was the last time anyone posted? I rarely see any new posts. Unless they're by you or I. No one's even applied for any of the godly positions.. it just seems kind of boring waiting around for others who don't seem to want to participate.

Also, it's not to gain gold.. if other people would post I would have no problem getting money. But I do it to develope the story.. I can't help it, everyone else doesn't post.. So I have to post.. I like the site, and I like roleplaying, but if I'm going to get bitched out for being one of the more active members then to hell with it.

Other people will post, And it's not an arguement it is simply one of the rules that noone is to Double Post whatever the reason.
Why don't you start topics in other places aswell as in the Temple to attract more roleplay?

Have you took a look around? I've posted in several OTHER places. And to hell with it then.. I wont post or 'double post'; Whatever.. I'll just sit here, a no one will post.. and nothing will ever happen around here..
