06/06
Whoa, just noticed the date. It's not a good date.. 6/6/06. Yeah, not good. Okay, sorry, off topic a little! Anyway, all the Clans are in desprate need of warriors. Join, please! We are in the works of a new plot, so look at "Another Rogue Idea". Activity checks might be coming around some time this month, so be prepared. Well, I think that's it, for now. Oh, and roleplay, members! It's probably better if you join an active topic, but you know, whatever you prefer.
Welcome to Fallen Away

There are two plots in the making, though we may not use the figment cat plot.

Due to RL and such, Coffin has been forced to retire from her position and leave Fallen Away. However, Bluefure, ThunderClan's deputy is free to become leader.

The storm has passed, but the river has swelled to a flooding point. Be sure to be on the lookout, RiverClan!

This is very obvious, people. You can go ahead and plot your hearts out here. Whether that be between characters, clans, or gargantuan plot envolving everyone, it doesn't matter. You can also request cats for a plot here. However, the plot does have to be okayed by an admin, which shouldn't be too hard. I am on at least once a day, and will check here regularly. However, if we did somehow miss yours, PM one of us after one week has gone by.

These are horrible, horrible things, and we will strive to make your wrongs right.

Request Board
Here you can request a number of things. Characters for a story, another place to request a character for a plot, even a drawn picture of one of your cats, if someone is inclined. And, tables and siggys, of course. Graphic makers, you can post a topic showing your willingness, and skill if you'd like, if you are inclined to.

Good people, you may come here to show off your writings, such as a story or poem, or even song; or a graphic, a good thing for a day you need cheering up, because people usually will praise you on such things; or a piece of art, such as a picture. A cat, a dog, a landscape, or something none of can ever understand, it don't matter!

Adoption Board
This is where you can post adoptions for characters you are giving away, and is also the place where kits are given away. The pregnancy will be notified a week or so before the birth, and then, when the anticipated moments arrives, you can all go nuts. Parents get dibs first, but then the poor little defenseless kitties are to be left to the mercy of you Rpers. Fighting over them won't be tolerated, I have to tell you.

Highrock
Placed directly in the center of the camp, the ThunderClan leader can assemble the clan for meetings and other important announcements from a top this dense boulder. The shaded rock itself slants upward toward the camp entrance, and it's height portrays the importance of whoever is sitting upon it.

ThunderClan Camp
ThunderClan make sure the bracken walls surrounding their camp are kept thick and compact, sharp thatches of thorns warning off intruders before they can even consider slipping through. The gorse entrance is well hidden and difficult for an unfamiliar cat to try and squeeze through without scratching their flank. The surrounding area of the walls are teeming with all types of decidious trees and tangles of bramble. The interior of the camp is a grassy clearing; very few trees scattered and the floor almost serving as a soft blanket with patches of moss and beddings lined with heather. The entire setting of the camp is pleasant, not too arid and not too wet, perfect for ThunderClan's lifestyle.

Sandy Hollow
Right outside the bulk of the camp the earth ramps down into a dusty ditch, free of roots and rocks and other natural inconviences that could hinder proper training. Mentors normally take their apprentice's here to practice battle moves or hold an assessment of their skills.

Tallpines
Coniferous trees line this part of ThunderClan territory, blocking out almost any sunlight and general warmth from the sky. It is true that the Tallpines area is shady, shrouded in darkness from leering silhouettes, yet ThunderClan know this way well and can sift through the shadows silently and with ease. Owl often lurk within the canopy peaks of the pines, keeping an eye out for a stray kit or undersized apprentice that might be lurking to close to their home.

Snakerocks
Snakerocks, although in the middle of the forest, has a cave-like flooring with dusty shales covering the undergrowth. Knicks and crevasses cut through the boulders, where adders lurk just beneath the surface, waiting for the moment to strike. Snakerocks is potentially dangerous and forbidden to younger cats who do not have the proper reflexes or agility to defend themselves against these vile creatures. Although bitter tasting, catching an adder might oppurtune an interesting story for denmates.

Sunningrocks
The border between RiverClan and ThunderClan, Sunningrocks has been long disputed between the two clans and has more or less made them rivals since the beginning of times. The rocks glisten silver in the sunlight, reflecting off the crystalline surface of the river. Patrols often pause here to just bask in the warmth of the sun for a few minutes, and the view of the cascading water and trees blended together is quite lovely.

Thunderpath
Finally, the factor of the forest that ThunderClan was named for. Monsters speed across this long strip of tar at speeds daring enough to snap the neck of an unsuspecting wanderer. Twoleg garbage and filth line the earth that just brushes the path's sides. The Twolegs that ride in the monsters are inconsiderate and careless of wild life, not even sparing a second glance on a dead body that lay in their wake. Across the foul-smelling Twoleg invention lays the border of ShadowClan territory, where a glimpse of an enemy patrol's beady glowing eyes can often be caught.

Alder Stump
Directly opposite of the entrance lays what appears to be the old, withered stump of an ancient Alder tree that used to rise great lengthes above the clearing. The stump is huge and high enough off the ground to give the RiverClan leader an aura of authority when addressing the clan. Long, silky reed-like plants have developed around it over the years, giving it a more homely feel in the camp setting.

RiverClan Camp
RiverClan's camp is located in a clearing right behind the shrubs and plants of a long abandoned Twoleg house. The earth is full of ditches and the camp itself slightly juts down away from the rest of the territory. Although not heavily guarded, the edges of the camp are teeming with reeds and long stalks of dampened grass; so to an outsider, it might prove a difficult task in trying to locate it. The entire feel of the camp is damp, due to the slightly wet grass and the floral aroma of the river that flows not too far to the camp's east.

The Gorge
This is the most haphazard area of RiverClan territory, where many deaths have occured both accidental, suicidal, and spiteful. Serving as a border between RiverClan and WindClan, the Gorge is a very steep rift in the ground where the roaring River meets an end, sending off thundering crashes of a deafening spray as the water tumbles down the sides. There is only a narrow strip of mossy land in which to manuever around it into enemy territory. The Gorge is not a good place to hunt or dawdle around for too long; you never know who's waiting for a cat to get close enough to it's sides.

River
The river is mainly a lengthy, thick strip of water that runs between ThunderClan and RiverClan territory. Two small tributary streams flow into ThunderClan territory near the Owl Tree. The River is very beautiful, a clear reflection of the sky at all times; tainted with crimson streaks in the sunset and mirroring the Silverpelt in the evening. The River is strictly RiverClan territory, and the water-loving cats do not have any issues wading through it to capture a drowning enemy as prisoner.

Reed Beds
Outling the river lays a labyrinth of reeds and other moist plants, all intertwined in a maze to provide a shelter to water voles and fish. This is a perfect place to hunt because the prey here is always rich in abundance due too the ample living conditions and fresh supplys of water. The beds are strewn out all across the river, and become rather prone to tangling where the River seperates into two streams.

Meadows
Cut off by the gorge and the Twoleg path, the Meadows are a perfect place for RiverClan to hunt land prey such as field mice or a rabbit or two straying from WindClan's side of the border. The meadows are the largest part of RiverClan territory, teeming with a variety of wild flowers such as callalilies and irises as well as green grass soft above the moist earth. A few large boulders are placed gradually around the fields, offering good camouflage for hunters.

Heather Patch
A patch of heather surronds the area here, a large flat stone serving as a meeting location. The leader can climb atop the boulder, to address the Clan. Meetings are held here, as well as ceremonies, and it is not often that you will find cats lying about here. This is a sacred place and should be treated as such. It is said that the first WindClan leader was appointed here, by StarClan non-the less, and many warriors just stare in awe at the sight.

WindClan Camp
The camp of WindClan is surprisingly protected, set after a steep climb across rock and cliffs. Here, the stones disappear into a gigantic cave of bracken, bramble, and undergrowth, with only a small tunnel as an enterance. It's sure to stick any other cats that try to go through here, unless they are as small as WindClan cats. The warriors here are indeed smaller than average, but what they lack in size they make up for in speed. Swift on their feet, they can snare even the quickest hare, and well toned muscles make them the ultimate fighting machine.

Flatlands
The main bulk of hunting territory is here, across the wind-whipped plains that are home to a number of rabbits and hares. This is the main diet of these cats, those often they come across a mouse or vole, and just can't say no. There are few trees here, mainly ancient oaks and a willow or two, that whispered its sorrow onto the breeze. The plains extend all the way to the gorge, and Fourtrees, stretching up to Highstones and the old farm to the north. The stalks of golden grass grow so long here that the warrior can hide amongst it, scent mixing with that of their namesake, so that it is almost impossible to smell them into their already too close for you to give an ample excuse. So, watch for patrols, who war-seeking cats.

Hillside
Leading up to camp, there is a steep hill, almost a minature cliff, ready to topple cats over the edge. The lookout point from here gazes over the forest, and is a fine way to spot approaching enemies. Of course, StarClan often has reasons for blinding a warrior to the most obvious raids, so occasionally, their rivals pass under the radar. You must be extremely careful when crossing here, for only the slight the cats that live here can hope to walk without dislodging rocks, due to their slight weight. Very few prey animals live here, except birds, and to try and catch one is a formidable and recklessly foolish task, though some of managed to come away clean. The chicks are the easiest to take, unless you have a mother harping on you, so it is a popular hunting place when the babies hatch.

The River
The same river that flows through RiverClan territory runs here, but the fish are dormant in their exsistence. They would probably be crushed in the fall from the gorge, so fish are birthed downstream, closer to the fish-loving cats. This is where cats come to drink, the main watersource of WindClan except for a small stream that snakes across the territory, and even dries up sometimes in greenleaf. Rabbits also come here when the grass is too dry to get nutrience from, so keep an eye out for the hoppy-things, for they love to lay out in the sunshine blissfully, having no thoughts except to eat and sleep and have children. What a life, eh? Still, be careful you don't get caught in the current, because it could lead you to the gorge.

The Falls
The most dangerous place in WindClan, no doubt, is the Falls, an unfortunate place to have a border. The edge is slippery and fatal, any cat could easily lose their footing here. Keep well away, and that's an order not a warning, unless you have a death wish. The impact of the water would probably kill you when you smacked down into the water down below, but if you didn't, it would surely drowned. Few have lived to tell their tale, and even though some have, don't let fool you. And you reckless hooligans, don't let that give you hope, you here? This place is cursed ground to walk upon. However, this is the border between WindClan and RiverClan. At least that'll damper any plans of raids, though.

Willowspot
A large willow tree, branches low enough so that the leader of ShadowClan can address its clan is here. It is set in a small, rocky clearing in the middle of the camp, but all the cats can easily gather around. Ceremonies are held here, such as an apprentice being made into a warrior, and important news will be announced from here, like who will be going to the gathering, or if a battle is on the approach.

ShadowClan Camp
The camp of the fearsome ShadowClan lies here, fiercly protected by both cats and the elements. Most of the territory is marshy and uncomfortable to most warriors, especially their neighbors who live on the plains. Pine trees are everywhere, long hanging branches offering protection from their enemies, and a thick wall of brush and bramble surronds the camp itself, leaving only the main exit, and a secret route beside the nursery, hidden from sight. It is surprising that any cat could live in these conditions, but they have adapted, some going so far as to say that they grew webbed paws. They also don't mind the wet, and relish in being in swamps and marshes, as opposed to dry land. But be warned: ShadowClan are ruthless and ambitious, and many of their leaders have caused problems for the other Clans.

Dead Oak
An unusually large, ancient, but dead oak still stands here, branches leafless and foreboding. However, it is a place with plentiful prey, usually mice who makes their homes in the twisted roots that are beginning to work themselves from the ground. Even an owl or two came be seen flying about, but these creatures are dangerous, and it is best to avoid them. This is one of the patches of earth that is untouched by marsh, and the ground is a santuary for rodents, as already stated. The tree made be dead, but the grass is certainly still growing, and birds will also flock here to peck at the worms hidden away. Rumor has it that many generations ago, a former leader was murdered here; most believe that is why the old tree died.

Carrionplace
This isn't exactly the cleanest place ShadowClan, but certainly a food source. Twolegs often come here to dump off trash, and that usually includes leftovers. Old chicken bones; half-meaten meatloaf that has good bad, too spoiled for humans; even plants, some of which haven't died so much that their stalks and petals can still be put to good use. However, there are always going to be bad things and this one can be fatal. The garbage attracts rats, which are dangerous just by using teeth and claws. But an even deadlier danger lurks in these rodents, and that is disease. Every once in a while, a careless warrior or apprentice will bring back a rat smelling of sickness. That's where it starts to go downhill. So be careful and be sure to only hunt what doesn't smell like it's riddled with a virus.

Carrion Path
A narrow road, that continues on to the larger Thunderpath, monsters are often seen driving here, some even stopping at Carrionplace. However, they are quick to leave, the stench driving them away. Still, younger twolegs can sometimes be seen here, smoking small foul smelling sticks, with small fires in their hand. A fearful sight, it would be wise to keep away from them. This is the border between Highstones and ShadowClan, and is luckily unused at dusk, so the traveling party is left alone, and safe to cross the stoney path.

Thunderpath
The monsterous, never-ending path called the Thunderpath lies here, killing careless apprentices and warriors every so often. Cats have come to fear this place, and its horridenous monsters, with bright shining eyes and massive paws. Luckily, they seem too scared to venture into the forest, and usually keep to the tar surface. This is the border between ThunderClan, named for this path, and ShadowClan. It seems as if an attack would be madness. But there lies a secret here, one that no other Clan knows about..

Secret Enterance
Here lies the greatest secret and advantage of ShadowClan: a stone tunnel leading under the Thunderpath, granting safe passage to any cats that intrude upon their neighbors. Oh, yes, it is still terrifying, for the walls shake everytime a monster passes overhead, but determination fuels the paws of these warriors, and they always make it safely across to the other side. This is how battles take place, without the loss of a warrior beneath giant black feet. No other Clan knows about it. And ShadowClan intends to keep it that way. So traitors, be warned. They'll ask questions later.

Fourtrees
Placed directly in the center of the four territories stands four great oak trees, forming around a circular rocky clearing. The clans meet here once a month for a Gathering when the moon is at it's fullest. Fighting and bloodshed is forbidden on this sacred ground, and StarClan will surely punish any who unsheathe their claws in battle. If they are displeased by rising tempers or thick tensions, the warrior ancestor's may cover up the moon with a cloud. This is a sign that the Gathering should end right away. Placed in the center of the dusty ground stands the Great Rock, which is made of four smaller rocks reserved for the leader of each of the four clans.

Highstones
To the north of WindClan territory and across the sable tar of the Thunderpath lays the sacred land of Highstones: a mountainous region with boulders and rigged stones scattered about its peak. The land rises in the form of a half plataeu, and a narrow slash indicates an cave-like entrance. Beneath the mountains lays the Moonstone, actually an enormous piece of quartz, that illuminates the light of the Silverpelt. Medicine cats frequently visit to share tongues with StarClan, and leaders may visit to recieve their nine lives. This forum is password protected, for StarClan's words are only intended for the ears of medicine cats or leaders.

Creek
The black creek originates from the peak of the mountains near Highstones as a few tributaries dripping downward toward a much larger body of water. The sable waters are murky and gross, the darkness preventing any sight to it's unimaginable depth. This lake has an eerie feel around it, and bad luck seems to linger within the dead, leafless trees that shade it's north side. Leering over toward the west is a narrow piece of mountain that juts out above the lake's barrier, not the safest place to be standing if one can sense danger.

Mountains
The small range of mountains surrounding highstones serve as a shelter-like area for any passing travelers who need a rest. There are many narrow chasms for overnight shelter, yet the mountains are a dangerous place to travel alone. Coyotes and other carniveous mammals frequent here to hunt anything smaller than them. The mountain's plane juts down into a few fatal abysses, easy for any creature to fall to their sudden death.

Valley
Running down the center of the small cluster of mountains is a narrow strip of fertile land, rich in prey and tall canopy trees that overlook the entire area. A small strait connects the Creek with a tributary from the River, weaving softly down the small hills and foilage along the valley's terrain. The valley only gets sunlight in the center, since the edges are drowned in the silhouette of the mountainside, cast away from the sunshine. As a result, the sides of the valley tend to be bleak and almost dead, contrasting to the small patch of land the light actually touches.

Barn
On the far edge of WindClan's moor lays an abandoned farmhouse once occupied by Twolegs. Loners usually troop in and around the stable, using the old dilapitated house as a nice shelter in cold or stormy weather. The barn itself is a worn crimson red, with chips of paint missing toward the button, giving the building a frayed appearance. Dry stacks of hay collect around it's corners and scatter across the land. Although there are a few holes in the old roof, the majority of the interior is dry and warm, filled with cozy straw that had long ago belonged to horses. The barn has an abundance of rats; although these rats are not poisioned or riddled with sickness like those near the Carrionplace, so they make a good meal if a cat is fast enough to snatch one.
