Due to a recent lack of activity here, I have unfortunately made the decision to close this board. We've tried a few times in the past to reboot the place with a new RP, but each time, the eventual result was the same; the board became inactive before the RP could be finished. So, rather than try to reboot things again with the possibility of yet another RP ending unfinished, I've decided to simply close FFR.

That is not to say that it'll be closed forever, though. This board will still be viewable; it just won't accept any more posts. That way, we can at least look back at what we've accomplished here. Registration will also be closed. PMs can still be sent, though, in case existing members want to contact each other for whatever reason. And who knows; if there's enough interest in the future, maybe we could try to resume the Ivalice RP in some way some time. I'd rather do that instead of rebooting with a new RP, since we've tried rebooting a few times already, as I mentioned above. Besides, this one did last longer than the other unfinished RPs, so that's something, right?

But enough rambling. I want to thank those who have served as part of FFR's staff throughout the duration of its existence. I especially want to thank Faris, who ran this board until 2008. I also want to thank everyone who has RP'd here for helping to make this a fun place to post.

It's been a fun 7 years. But I'm afraid it's time to move on.
