The most grand, extravagant part of the palace is the Throne room. Here, Brahne sits upon a heavily cushioned throne of red and gold, while large crystal columns stretch up and down a long red carpet leading to the entrance. Kuja is often seen at Brahne's side, either standing or seated in an equally impressive - if smaller - throne to her right. On either side of the large, ornate doors, guards (or Judges, or Guards that look like Judges) are always posted, never faltering. None may enter without their consent.
