Freya took in the information on their mission, tapping the tip of her lance against the floor in contemplation. Undead... She had experience in battling them, of course, but no particular edges against them either. Neither healing nor holy magic were among her specialties. That said, she had confidence in her ability to hold her own against such small foes.

"As you wish," she answered Etoille's demand, inclining her head towards Cloud. With her hat pushed up, it was more obvious how unusual her race was, but she brushed the white hair from her eyes without self-consciousness now that they had a mission. The goal alone was some thing she could throw herself into - eliminating specters was easier than dwelling on her own.

"I'll lend my spear to the endeavor. You won't find it wanting," she said to Cloud, bowing her head slightly as her tail flicked behind her. "I have little in the way of either attachments or preparations, so the sooner we leave the better."

Cloud watched as Quadrillia jumped while telling him that there was a mission for him. He nodded, but before he could say anything else, the young Viera grabbed his hand began pulling him downstairs! The spiky-haired man did his best to keep his balance as he was led by force down to the lounge, and there, she kept pulling him along while she knocked a few things away from some of the others. She certainly seemed quite excited, Cloud thought.

But then, soon enough, Quadrillia had left, leaving Cloud in the room with the other Newfolk in Clan Nimbus, as well as their leader, Etoille. He listened as she addressed them and told them about a Mark that would just be for them, as a way for them to prove themselves. Cloud didn't have a problem with that, considering he was new to this whole clan business.

The mission itself apparently involved the undead, which was something that Cloud had dealt with before when he and his friends went through the Cave of the Gi. He was then handed the bill and designated as the leader of the group for this mission. He was somewhat surprised. Still, it was a chance to show that he could fit in, since he didn't know how long he was going to be stuck in Ivalice.

"We'll do our best," Cloud said to Etoille.

He then turned to the others, who each had something to say to him. Cyric and Freya each had encouraging words to say, while Seymour wanted to go and get a few things before they left for the Vivid Swamplands.

"Not a problem," said Cloud. "We'll head out as soon as everyone is ready."

A grin found its way across the Red Mage's face as the group began preparations. She had confidence that they would be successful, and she nodded towards Cloud as he mentioned that they would do their best. "I expect you should." She said simply, and slowly made to leave the room. "The best of luck to you all."

As the party made to leave for the Swamplands, the sisters were there to wish them well. Quadrillia took a few seconds to cast a simple Protect spell on each member before they left, while Sojet handed Freya a bag containing a number of Antidotes, saying "You'll need them, the bog is poisonous."

Once the group had left, the sisters were once again left to themselves and the other non-Newfolk clans members. Coryphea slowly made herself visible again, discarding her Vanish spell. She looked to the others with a bit of a worried look on their face. "Are you sure they'll be o.k?"

Etoille playfully rapped the Scarlette against the ground before leaning the blade against her shoulder, smiling like a fox. "I suppose time will tell. Come sisters, idle hands are wasted ones. Let us see what Dispatches and minor Quests we can tend to in their absence." The sisters climbed - in order of age, no less - the stairs towards Etoille's office, leaving the Lounge empty, still basking in the same emerald glow, silent save for the peaceful twittering of canaries.

Relm Arrowny was lost. She was convinced of it, anyways.

She had been looking for something to do ever since she had fallen into the world of Ivalice, and even though painting was her real forte, there was only so much real need for artists and painters - especially artists that liked to bring their paintings to life. A valuable ability in a fight, it was nothing but a fancy parlor trick in a world like Ivalice, where magic was everywhere. It didn't help that some of the Ivalicians weren't impressed just by her being from another world - and her stories of Kefka and her travels weren't seen as particularly spectacular. So with that in mind, she had decided to join a clan - and Clan Nimbus seemed to her to be the way to go.

And that was all well and good, until she had lost the map a friendly clan member had drawn for her on her way to a mark. She was one of those pointy eared ones - a Viera? - and she had told Relm that her clan was perfectly accepting of the Newfolk, as they were called here. And that was enough for her; if EVERYONE in the guild was kind enough to help someone like that, it was a clan worth being a part of!

But now she had to find the Wood Village herself. It was a tiny bit difficult, but she THOUGHT she had the right of it - and was rewarded when she found it, though it took her much longer than she thought it would. Luckily for her, the Cloud Hall was easily spotted, even from the outskirts of the village, and so she approached the doors to the Hall and steeled herself for her introduction.

Anyone who knows ANYTHING knows that most of the Newfolk can fight... So I doubt that they'll be skeptical. I wonder if I'll have to show them my powers? Will I have to paint for them? I just wish there was some sort of note on the front door that said...

And with thoughts similar to that running through her head, she knocked as loud as she could on the door to the Hall, hoping that someone was inside that could hear her.

Relm's knock was at first unanswered, and only peaceful, silent chirping could be heard. Certainly in a place as quiet as Wood Village the knock would be heard by someone. It didn't take long for measured, shuffling steps to approach the door and open it from the other side. Staring back at the young girl was a Nu Mou draped in robes of White and Red, universally known in Ivalice as the garbs of a White Mage. His ears were both pierced with rings that Relm could fit her hand through, adorned with etchings of a number of herbs and leaves.

"Greetings." the creature said cheerfully, extending a hand to the young one to help her through the threshold. "A Newfolk so small," he predicted, "is something I've yet to see..." The Nu Mou had been part of this world so long that he easily picked apart things that were not natural to Ivalice. Once Relm was inside the Clan, the Nu Mou gestured to a Moogle sitting on a stool who was trying to assemble a rifle. The creature looked up, nodded, and darted up one of the two large staircases.

"I am Kiroet, the Clan's healer. Many of the sisters who lead this clan just recently returned from a Quest, and mayhaps one can be here to assist you..." As he finished, something white, red, and lavender bumbled its way down the stairs with quick hops and skips, ignoring every 3 or 4 stairs as it made its way down. When it finally skidded to a stop infront of Relm and Kiroet, it could finally be seen that it was a Viera. She was young and bright-eyed, taking in all of Relm with awe. She, like Kiroet, was garbed in a healer's garments.

"Hi there!" she said, finally, looking Relm over. "I've never seen a newfolk so little!!... unless you count their Moogles, but their Moogles are weird anyway." Apparently everyone in the Clan was going to make mention of Relm's youth before she actually got a chance to introduce herself. "Welcome to Clan Nimbus!, let me show you around." With or without Relm's permission, the young Viera took Relm by the hand and began dragging her about the Clan Hall.

Relm was amazed at the speed with which her knock was answered - at first it seemed slow, but as soon as the door was answered it was a whirlwind of actions and talking and... new things. The strange being she recognized faintly as a Nu Mou beckoned her inside and introduced himself as Kiroet. Before she could respond or begin to introduce herself, another being, who seemed like a... Viera? Now she was just getting confused... And it seemed she was being pulled away.

"Relm! Relm Arrowny. And I'm allowed to be little, I'm 12!" Before she could finish introducing herself any further, the small Viera began to drag her through the clan hall.

Well, at least it seems like they're willing enough to accept me... Maybe this'll be fun!

((OOC: Yuna, I think this'll be enough for introduction. I just wanted to toss Relm in the mix with an introduction as best I could. ^^; ))
