Roles

This thread is to keep track of who belongs to what clan (if any) and what job you fill in the world of Ivalice. Although you do not have to belong to a clan, it is preferred that you do; if you are not a member of a clan you must find your own way to become involved in the plot. Moreover, if there are more "unaffiliated" people than clan-affiliated, we will be forced to close this option.

Also: though we have allowed people to play characters from different parts of their in-game timeline before (e.g., Young Rydia and adult Porom from the original FFIV and The After respectively), this is the first time that we are making it an official part of the game. So, please include the time of his or her life your character was snatched from in your post here, along with your chosen clan and preferred job. Like this:

Note that jobs within clans will ultimately be up to the clan leader to decide.

Clan Blue

Leader: Thief Elessar

Description: Led by one of the Newfolk, Thief, this clan consists of a good mix of Newfolk and citizens of Ivalice who are willing to work with them. They have no problem working with other clans if Thief feels sure that it'll benefit them in some way. Though relatively inexperienced in leading a clan, he does know when they should run if it appears that things get too tough for them.

Clan Nimbus

Leader: Etoille

Description: This Clan is lead by the Vierra Etoille and her lavender-headed siblings. This Clan is prideful, rarely working with other clans and failing to admit defeat despite the most overcoming odds. They are indifferent to the new arrivals in Ivalice, welcoming them as long as they pull their weight.

Clan Seraph

Leader: Judgemaster Sephiroth

Description: This clan, led by the stern Judgemaster Sephiroth, is one dedicated to eradicating evil and discovering the truth. Among its ranks there is a small majority of Newfolk who want to learn what Ivalice is, how they got there -- and possibly how to get back home. They are willing to take on any mission that will further their goals; however, while not adverse to working with other clans, Seraph makes it clear that they must be in command.
