My Side RP ideas

Vincent was already an experiment at this point, Sephiroth was a hero at this point, Cloud was a ShinRa guard and around town, Gast was long dead, Hojo was being crazy as usual, Tifa wasn't a kid and was in Nibleheim, Barret was in North Coral with his wife, Cid was working on the Space Program, Yuffie was a kid in Wutai growing up to hate ShinRa, Reeve was working on building ShinRa architecture, Red XIII was either in Cosmo Canyon or Hojo's lab, Rufus was away on "long business trips" and randomly showing up to be told he was "away on long business trips" by his father, Reno and Rude were Turks--It's like six years prior to the game, not ten. I was meaning start before the Nibleheim Incident and work your way up to and through it like BC, not go back twenty years to before Hojo screwed the whole Planet over for science.

I see...well we'll need to all decide on something...

Long as Rufus isn't too young to act cool and poke the Turks in the eye, I'm fine with any time period really.

What if you were to take up the original President ShinRa, the one without a first name, and poke us in the eye instead as him?

If it came to that, I would just prefer to make a new character that was in the academy as a newb. But still play Rufus as a little brat that poked Turks in the eye.

I believe if Rufus was a little brat, Reno wouldn't be much less of a little brat...he's only like...27 or something.

I vote for one month before Nibelheim. That way everyone's sane (except arguably Hojo), everyone's old enough to legally drink and bear arms, Shin-Ra is still Evil Megaconglomerate of the Year, and the Turks have more exciting things to do than stalk Aerith.

Rufus, play Rufus and order the Turks to assassinate your old man. Problem solved.

Oh, and I'm willing to NPC any characters from the original game that might be required (such as Shin-Ra execs). Thought I'd mention that before the topic gets any longer.

I'd appreciate it, for otherwise a large amount of the load would have been on me.

I like the timing, though I still have to think how to use poor Megaera, she wants more use. ._.

Well it doesn't matter how they can fit in...its not like we're going to disallow you from joining in because your excuse for being there isn't good enough. Everyone is welcome.

So when/how are we going to start this? O_o

Well I'm trying to figure a few things out first...and maybe I'll start by figuring out the staff. I know Reno (Myself) is going to be an instructor, and we'd need a another one at least, and probably a team leader for larger missions.
