Drive In
This is the ideal place for a date according to some. It's semi-private but still public, not that a select few care about the latter. They still get up to no good while pretending to watch movies. The place consists of a large screen and stations to park cars, allowing viewers to hear the audio of the films.

Rock Quarry
A hundred years ago it was a mine, but it is now a large canyon with many levels on the way down. It is filled with water and many enjoy going there to jump off of the cliffside and into the water. Halfway down there is a small but secret cave that not many have ventured all the way into. To get to the quarry, drive to the end of Old Quarry Road.

Memorial Park
Located between Mull River and Sunset, the park was built to commemorate those who fought in WWI and WWII. There is an cenotaph in the center with the names of all the fallen from Abilene, surrounded by a large garden. Across a very green lawn and at a respectful distance is a playground for the kids, with a pool on the opposite side.

Wolf Lake
Accessed off of Old Quarry Road, Wolf Lake is fairly large but not so large as to not be able to see the other side. There is a beach area and a few cabins for renting, as well as some small plots of land for camping on. Watch out for the bears at night, as they have been known to raid campsites for food.
