Umm are we talking only manga, or can we also include movies and anime?
I can only recall a couple manga series that made me weep a bit.
Parasyte, the ending was really sad and beautiful.
Fate/stay night & Chaos head (mostly the visual novels, cause the manga translations never really finished) also had really sad, melancholic endings, with favourite characters dying off and such =( Didn't have the heart to do anything for a couple days when Illya sorta died in Heaven's Feel scenario.
Ummm i guess megaman manga for a totally different reason, I couldn't find the translated version on the net =( well for free anyway.
