Eddie.EXE:
Eddie.EXE is the equivalent to a wild card. Basically the advantage of the chip is that it can be any chip in your library, but it has the disadvantage of it not neccarilly being where/what you might need it to be. For instance if you are standing on the middle row and it becomes Widesword, it misses. While it may seem a bit impractical, it doesn't have to be. Depending on how the smart the user is they can make the chip work most of the time. Now I don't think that Giga Chips, or if they are implemented, Dark chips would/should be included in the mix. But navi chips don't sound out of the question since they are not always super strong, and there is no garuntee it'll appear. Eddie would also be one of those chips that you can only obtain ONE of in the entire game.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate for Eddie, which was one of the support robots in the classic series, to be an Navi Customizer Support Program like the others?

I actually have a sprite of an Eddie redesign, but I don't know what I did with it...

If you try to retool this into a Navi Customizer program, you should remember this: the support programs are activated by a trigger of some sort (Rush Support is when your opponent uses an Invisible Chip, Beat is when your opponent uses a Mega Chip, and Tango is when your HP falls below a certain point) and can only be activated once.

EDIT: Oh, I found it. But I didn't finish it... oh well. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l217/Man...ddiesprites.png

I'd say a Navi Cust part as well. It could lead to some interesting libraries but sadly, I think it's too unique that it's going to be widely used. Few people might use it but apart from that I don't reckon people'd be smart enough to implement a good strategy with it. Of course, we could let certain people have a go with it...

It's not that it doesn't feel like a good chip, I was just saying Eddie makes a lot more sense as an NC program...

I would like to point out that since PvP is not a major priority, a navi cust program like that is useless. I mean what virus is going to use a megachip or something?

And yet they're the most annoying ones on PvP and are tradition. >__>;;

I think you misinterpreted what I (we?) said about online battles. I meant that it wasn't a priority at the moment because I'd much rather we finish the game and then worry about how people are going to do PvP then dwell on trying to figure it out now. We want to make this game competitively capable and balanced, we just probably aren't going to figure out how to do multiplayer until it's finished or at least close to it.
