I'm still learning the finer points of art, such as anatomy, perspective, drawing backgrounds and shading ( i have no clue how to do cel shading >.<), buti'm trying my best to learn of these skills.
I know these aren't in the traditional "megaman style" art work.
Please look at my DA profile for more examples of my work, though most of them as i look at them seem sub par.

You understand the rules:
I understand the rules and keep information passed on to me as a secret.

Ooh, now that looks promising. I reckon EXE style art would be simple in terms of the amount of shades used and the coloured works look good. I'd say yes from me.

kahu - January 14, 2010 03:01 PM (GMT)
EXE Style: Minimal shades, only a bit of metallic shine and eye reflection here and there, and a few shades to differentiate differnt parts of a spiky object. That and some eyestyles.

Art itself is somewhat...disturbingly depressing. Something about it just...goes off as dystopian and grim. On the other hand, your coloring's top notch.

Show us a bit more and you have my vote.

I really like the piece with the arrows in the background.

It's, what's the word... stylish.

We could use more artists so you have my vote for sure, though I would like to see something in EXE-style, jsut to see how it would look for you.

I'm just an OP, but you're not too bad. A bit more work on the anatomy which can be fixed if you look up some good art tips and practice. As for EXE style, HWAO is right, though to be a bit more helpful I'll give you a tutorial on how to draw Megaman.EXE. It seems I can't download the "Websafe" version and it seems other people can't view the google document. So PM if it doesn't work and I'll give you my email.
(just in case see if this works or you) http://docs.google.com/gview?a=v&attid=0.1...ion%2Fpdf&pli=1

@Untaken, SO it would be more akin to cel shading in a way, :D

@ Kahu, most of my other works were done during class and half hazzardly cause i was bored, i don't have many other works to show atm, but i will try to churn out some more in the future. The first two pieces looked depressing cuase i was drawing to take my mind off the more streesss ful stuff goign on in my life at the time.

@ Manson Marquee, thanks, i;ll see if i can get a tutorial off ngaurhoth1 and work off that.

@Ngaurhoth1, i tried that link awhile ago and tried asknig around if it was only me that the link was broken for, didn't get no response, i'll pm my email to you

Certainly not bad, though you really need to post wrks showing you can do EXE style, particularly eye style.

kahu - January 29, 2010 03:20 PM (GMT)
Not really. I'm working on readjusting the EXE style anyways, so we can more or less get anyone and everyone provided their designs aren't TOO far from EXE designs. Of course, we still need somebody who can do EXE styles, but I think we could have a bit of variation for some of the more unique characters. Whatever brings out the true nature of the character goes, in my opinion.

Line art, yes. Coloured, not so sure.

BlueTuesdays - January 29, 2010 10:10 PM (GMT)
I'll try to do an exe style piece in the future, i'm just having fun completing the coloured piece up top, doing the background line art and stuff. Obeying 2 point perspective is kinda hard ; A;
