Well personally ill be putting my awesome military might behind those who are willing to share. Seeing as Adaptus has the first claim on zee oil the union would be willing to make a deal with adaptus to ensure that they continue to control the find as long as the share the profits with us. The first one who wants to make a deal gets the navy. Shall I start the bidding.

Also what ns accounts does everyone use as most i can guess but others im not too sure. And what calculator are we going to use to compare stats if we compare at all?

The idea of the railgun was basicly, fire it, until it bore down so far and fizzled under the immense pressure, then fire it again, hence how it took a few days to get down. Drills cant be made at a practical size to drill deep enough, this is where the multiple projectile thing comes in. It's more practical.

Hmmm, I would like like to help kickstart Europa again*, but my Europan nation "Haken Rider" has been relocated to another region to participate in a game. And he will there for a long time.

What do you guys prefer? That I keep RP'ing Haken Rider (altough he isn't in the region) or that I start a new puppet? I don't mind either option. I would like to see my current three plots downsized to one again, anyway.

*this is no gurantee.

@Hak: Honestly, man, you do what ever's easiest for you. If you want to make a new puppet, then do so, by all means. I'd be happy to let you RP without a nation here, because it's not like you're some inexperienced newcomer. You're a well-know face.

If Europa were a bar, you'd have a tab with lots of credit on it.

@Adpt: Is this oilfield your nation's discovered the only one, or the only one so far discovered?

If the former, it's slightly iffy that your nation discovered it, drilled it and placed a huge naval cordon around it in one post, before any other nation with better access to the Storm Ocean found it or had any chance of getting to it and tapping it before Adaptus did.

If the latter, we'll have to limit the number of discoveries, as otherwise it'd defeat the whole point of the oil shortage.

The latter, however it was down to new Adapton technologies which discovered it in the first place. The thing was discovered several days before hand it had just not been released to the public. However their was supposed to be at least two more drilling points to be discovered.

There should be one in the Byzantine Sea.

Not only does it fit with regional history since the Tarragat Island War was fought over the oil fields there, it's a warm enough area that mirrors the real world Middle East.

Maybe not as large as the one in Storm Ocean of course but I think it would just seem more plausible than having them all concentrated in one area.

Plus since Rennd has been long gone Deltannia has full access to those fields, regardless of the fact it's almost a world away. With the Storm Ocean one you've got alot of spheres of influence over-lapping each other.

In my opinion it would make for an interesting race and confrontation should some nations not be able to get in on the Storm Ocean action.

I am afraid gentlemen that I must sit out on this. There is so much chaos of the home during these holidays and so forth that I cannot be about to include myself in this storyline, however compelled by a want to play.

I had thought perhaps it was possible with limited activity, but work and family have proven otherwise. I will be available should anyone need me for anything, however, as of this time, Haruspex is a closed nation and is for all intents and purposes going dormant.

I'm just going to make a few points clear, so i can get them clarified. One, Railguns, I think in such a desperate situation, the Adapton military, being relative in it's thinking, would throw aside an international law against the weapons, give them self an edge over the competition. Only due to the reason the government of Adaptus follows a relative ethical system. Most other Christian nations possible wouldn't. resort to such a tactic, as they would be bound by Absolutist ethics. So given the circumstances, I'm asking whether it is fine for me to (illegally) mount railguns to my ships?

Second; Ide, with the presence of three navies in the area, it will be pretty damn hard for your sub to not be spotted. Especially with it being a nuclear capable sub, perhaps a more smaller reconnaissance sub with limited attack capabilities. for now anyway. Perhaps your bigger sub could patrol southern waters thought, just out of range of the cordon area, until your recon sub spots anything, it's possibly more plausible.

Oh and I was wondering? How about an extra threat is added? In the form of nuclear weapons? either a nuclear capable terrorist group,or nations aiming the things at each other? however that's for later on.
