Is there any particular criteria for moving threads into the Archive?
I think there are at least three threads which deserve to go there, namely
Tarragat Island, the
First Tamurinian Civil War and the
Second Tamurinian Civil War (although that's the first one RL time :P). These ought to be saved for all time, as they were all damned good RPs.

Maybe we should go through all of the old ones up to this point (now including Tarragat, it's ancient), and vote on each? I mean come up with a list and everyone say what they think should go in. The only reason I say that is because if we just let any thread in past a certain date, then how good they were doesn't matter. Unless you don't care how good they were, but it seems like only those really special threads should go in....

1. Great threads are moved to the Archive.
2. Un-great threads are left to gather dust in their respective forum.
3. Offensive stuff is moved to the admin-controlled territory called "the dump".

That's what I thought the Archives was in a way. I mean, not every ordinary thread is moved in, only ones that have finished and most people agree were really good.
I wasn't around for the first four of those, so I'll have to take your word until I read them.

1) Correct. The description states that it's the "resting place of the greatest threads".
2) Correct. You should, I feel they're part of this region's RP-history.
3) Correct. That dump contains offensive post or brainless spam.

Okay, interesting.
Perhaps people should suggest threads as possible candidates for entry into the Archives to get started? I mean, you already posted a few, and Tagmatium suggested some others.

EDIT: Are you lot talking about making an RP Thread "hall of fame", rather than chucking them into the Archive?

Well, I think we were considering discussing which ones should go in in a thread, like this one.
I think we're agreed on Tarragat Island, and both Tamurin Civil Wars. :D
