Title: Hello from The New Meritocracy
Description: And a Consulate request too, I guess

Soigacas - November 23, 2005 06:47 AM (GMT)
Hello there. I am here to serve as Ambassador to Europa from the region of the New Meritocracy. By doing so, I hope that I, and the Meritocracy, can learn more about Europa. And vice versa, of course. If my request for a Consulate is granted, I will post in detail about how our region works. We publish a weekly newspaper, a version of which shall appear here.

Thanks!

I believe Ide Jima is your Ambassador to us.

Well, that's the plan... I don't know if it's set in stone just yet

Pirilao - November 23, 2005 12:24 PM (GMT)
Hi , I am very curious. ;)

Hello from Q102 and welcome to Europa. They are very good at making ambassadors feel very welcome :)

Soigacas - November 24, 2005 07:13 AM (GMT)
Thanks for the welcome.

Just to let you know that I have been officially designated the Ambassador to Europa, and Ide Jima has been made Europa's Ambassador to the Meritocracy.

Ok, If we talk nicely to the powers that be over here, then TNM should have an embassy.

Soigacas - November 24, 2005 07:43 PM (GMT)
Excellent :)

Ide Jima - November 24, 2005 08:13 PM (GMT)
Indeed

Europa - November 25, 2005 12:46 PM (GMT)
Welcome, the Senate is discussing your Consulate-application.. :)

Ide Jima - November 28, 2005 10:42 AM (GMT)
When is the decision made?

Soigacas - November 28, 2005 05:10 PM (GMT)
Soon hopefully :)

I'd just like to point out that we believe that embassies are more than just places to post the occasional updates from our region, especially in regions that we have had little or no contact with in the past.

With that in mind, what do the nations of Europa think of themselves? How could we get to know you better?

Tagmatium Rules - November 28, 2005 08:06 PM (GMT)
I agree, but I've taken to getting involved in one of the regions I'm ambassador to a lot more than the others. But, I suppose it negates itself, as I often chat to members of the regions, so that's OK.

I'm all for involvement by ambassadors. I've pinched a fair few good ideas from the regions I'm ambassador to :P and hopefully given good ideas back as well.

Ide Jima - November 28, 2005 08:12 PM (GMT)
How about interregional RP? - RP is one of the best things about this game - and by linking RPs between two regions (which are keen on participating in it) the number of RP opportunities multiplies.

Tagmatium Rules - November 28, 2005 08:23 PM (GMT)
Yeah. It does depend on how it is done. There is the Nevareion Civil War, which has Bhalman (Caldari State) involved in it, as well as Tagmatine forces.

It all depends how much you want other region's forces involved.

Ide Jima - November 28, 2005 08:31 PM (GMT)
True - from what I can see, TNM is warlike compared to Europa (at the moment at least)

Soigacas - November 28, 2005 08:37 PM (GMT)
We're not always like that... honest! ;)

But I think an interregional RP is a great idea.

Ide Jima - November 28, 2005 08:38 PM (GMT)
We'll have to see what Soig thinks...

Soigacas - November 28, 2005 08:59 PM (GMT)
Right, now I'm confused!

Ide Jima - November 29, 2005 08:27 AM (GMT)
We posted at almost exactly the same time... what a coincidence

Soigacas - December 5, 2005 05:31 PM (GMT)
*prods* So how goes the embassy construction? I, as ambassador, am ambivalent towards the construction time, but my underlings are becoming frustrated at having to conduct international meetings in the airport Car Park ;)
