This series is rarely talked about or credited for being one of the best animes out there. Great animation, music, story, and characters. A truly unique masterpiece that really does not get the attention it deserves. It's true strength lies in the portrayal of human emotions and character development. The story is well paced, every episode advances the plot while connecting you closer and closer to the characters. If you havn't seen this series I strongly suggest you pick it up, I found it to be amazing.

If you have seen this series what were some of your likes and dislikes?

I watched episode 1 about a year ago.
I was going to watch episode 2 until I realized it was a yuri, sort of... ^^;;

I might pick it up again, one day. But for now... eh, I can wait. XD

Kurau and Christmas are human bodies inhabited by a pair-bonded duo of Rynax souls. Christmas is a 12-year-old clone of Kurau. Their love for each other is absolute and unquestionable, but not exactly within any parameters of normal or abnormal human sexuality. This show's about love, not sex. They bear more resemblance to an older and younger sister than anything else.

That said, people who like girl/girl love will find something sorta like that here. But not exactly.

Beautiful show, by the way. I've got the DVD and do recommend it as one of the good ones,
