So, I got this idea. I thought it might be a nice alternative to having to hand-draw your character if you wanted to provide a visual.

Anyone interested in having their RP characters fleshed out in 3D? I'd be willing to take the time and get the end result as close as possible with the restrictions I have; I can't, for example, add something overly complicated or unique to the design, but I do have a bit of freedom to create a model that closely resembles what you have in mind. If enough of you want one, I'll add them all to either this post or a separate thread as a sticky or something.

As an example, I've done a rough draft of my character. He's pretty simplistic to begin with, but he should give you an idea of what you'll be getting.

If you want one, leave a post here or PM me with any specific details not listed in your character registration; I'm talking exact dimensions of facial and body bone structure (high cheekbones, wide shoulders, thin waist, broad forehead, etc. etc.) As many details as you want. The more details, the more specifics I have to work with, the better your model is going to be.

Sure thing. Give me any details you want. I've already read your registration, so I know she has black hair, she's pretty, and she has dark skin. So.. specifics. Height, weight, body shape, clothes and colors, etc. etc.

Uhm...alright, she's about 5'5, 135lbs, her clothes are light and airy, neutral colors but more on the darker side. I'm not picky about the style, mostly because I'm not good at choosing that really. Something that she can move well in, considering she's quick. I wouldn't complain at some kind of skirt with long boots.

Alright, here's my rough draft.

Let me know if there's anything you want changed, anything I got wrong, etc. etc. and I'll change it.

Her shirt looks a little breastplate-ish, which can be fixed if you like. It's actually just a cotton shirt, but I blended the colors a little which gave it a somewhat metallic look. I was going to change it, but eh. Laziness got the better of me. I got caught up in piecing things together and may have given her color scheme a lighter look than you had invisioned; easily fixed. Also, experimenting with the easy-to-maneuver look, I gave her leg/foot wraps instead of boots. I can change them to boots very easily if you don't like 'em.

In any case, don't be shy about asking for changes or pointing out things you don't like. I've got no problem with fixing them up to the best of my ability. After all, that's sort of what this thread is for.

I like it Kody. I like the foot wraps MUCH more than the idea for boots. lol. She does seem very gray though...maybe some more color? Like some light browns and greens? The gray does make her look like she's wearing metal armor. lol. Oh and maybe take away the sleeves from her elbows to her shoulders? And maybe the same for the one covering her thighs? She just looks so gray. But other than that, I like her.

P.s. how are you making these?

Any better?

As for how I'm doing these? I went through a long and annoying process to acquire software that allows me to create (or piece together pre-made) pieces of clothing, armor, etc. etc. and place them onto a character model (which can also be created or chosen from a pre-made list).

No problem. Feel free to come back and ask for a revision or something if you want one, or a new character.
