A flesh eating disease broke out and when the greatest minds in science tried to find a cure, they only made it worse. Hundreds of thousands of people were dying but the "cure" they had created only merged with the disease mutating it and making it stronger... It turned them into flesh hungry blood thirsty monsters...

Even though everything seems bleak, there are survivors scattered from all over the place from every walk of life. A growing community that has taken refuge in a once arms manufacturing factory, all struggle to fight and survive through the zombie apocalypse. Join or die...

Science had taken over from nature as technology had taken over our lives, but the two had downfalls and somethings they couldn't cure.

A common cold swept across American and then migrated to Europe and the rest of the world. The common cold....While the world's leading scientists worked on a cure the world went on. When a vaccine was found that would boost a human's immunity, ward off the germs and protect from future outbreaks. Mass immunization began immediately with devastating events.

The first groups immunized deteriorate quickly from a cold to the flu and died but a few short days later, but they didn't stay dead. The response of authorities to the threat was slower than its rate of growth, giving the zombie plague time to expand beyond containment. Spreading across the world and collapsing modern civilized society.

Once the outbreak started, things fell apart quickly and the world fell to ruins and chaos. Television and radio stations emitted only the emergency broadcast stating for people to stay calm and in there homes. They encouraged people to tune into the radio at 925AM for more details, but those details never came. The internet, been automated lasted a little longer then the radio and television, but all it offered was propaganda and fear mongering.

As more and more people died, basic aspects of society failed. Hospitals and emergency services crumbled without people to maintain them. People turned on other people out of fear, all that mattered was surviving and survival.

In the days after the initial outbreak people ventured from their houses or other places of refuge. Some headed out of the cities alone, others joined other survivors and headed to places they deemed safe and some banded together and sought refuge. No matter what they chose to do, every choice had their own risks and everyone was bound to encounter the walkers/living dead/zombies.

But even in a time of darkness and despair, there is always hope...

Job Positions at the compound
(You can pick up to 3 jobs max)

1) Scavenger Team- a small group of survivors with quick reflexes, sharp eyes, and a nose for a good find. They are also skilled shooters. Training is intense. If you have health problems you will be denied. After the application, interview and training the good doc will screen you, to see if you're fit enough to join the tough of the toughest. This is generally an invite only team, but feel free to ask....might show you have balls.

2) Patrol Team- These are the teams, men and women, who guard the perimeter. 4 squads make up the guard, each shift runs for 8 hours. The grounds are guarded 24 hours a day. To be on the patrol team you must be fit, strong and of good morals - no bribery. If you are caught bend rules for a profit you will be black listed. Dogs are also provided to those who wish.

3) Medical Team - Medical no longer means a grand hospital and highly trained staff. At Eternus we take what we can get. Whatever you use to heal Herbal or western its all needed, the only thing we do require is a good bedside manner and clean hands. Medics must have some medical knowledge however basic. Cleanliness, good bedside manner. Hours in the medical team are as and when, however the medical bay must always be staffed.

4) Mechanics- Any knowledge you have on any machines is useful. However, we prefer hands on as opposed to book knowledge. But key thing is a 'can do' attitude, we have few resources, but we make do.

6) Construction/work Crew - You live here, help make it somewhere you want to live. Carpenters? Joiners? Builders? As a warehouse, Eternus wasn't built as a home, but now that is what it must be. Help make it....livable. Any experience you have in the building, repair and manual trade will come in useful. However, if you wish to be on the team and have no experience then an enthusiasm is more than welcome.

7) Food Crew- Cooks, meal prepares and food servers. Experience in nutrition, cooking for large numbers with little resources and cleanliness are paramount. Any experience cooking, we do not require flair and 5 star meals. Just nutritious and decent tasting.

8) Education group - Education has changed, we will be teaching what is needed. Reading, Writing, Arithmetic. Along with those things needed for the new world we are creating. Did you have a special skill? An affinity with children? Want to pass on reading and numbers to the next generation?

9) Work Crew - This is the team that keeps the place ticking. A keen eye for detail. Ability to prioritize and make do. We are working with what we have.

10) Physical pursuits - Experience in the body, keeping it fit and pushing people's limits. Keep fit? Personal trainer? Martial Arts? Remember its no vacation resort outside of the compound.

(You can pick up to 3 jobs max)
