Eternal Bless boards is a message boards dedicated for the use of the Anime Addicts! It aims to create a community which would help foster camaraderie and goodwill among the Anime Adicts, as well as encourage them to help out each other in their online adventures.

As with every other boards out there, there will be guidelines for the users of the community message board. These guidelines will help create a positive atmosphere which would be helpful in building a community. These guidelines aim to benefit everyone who posts in these boards.

Legends:

***Major Offenses: 3 points of warning or Banned (depending on what offense you've made)
*Minor Offenses: Warning, 1 or 2 points warning.

Now that we’ve gotten that straight, let’s get it on:

*1. No excessive use of profanity.
Mild use of profanity (like the oh-so familiar “amp”) is ok, but if it’s too blatant, we’ll have to give you a warning. Depending on the offense, Moderators may meet punishment right away if the profanity is extreme, even if they are genuine game complaints.

*2. No Shortening of Words
Examples: "you = u" "can't = cnt" "why = y" and many more. Those shortened words are only used in TEXTING not in POSTING. It seems like those who post those shortened words are immature and really is a deep hurry to post again. Please, people! Texting is different from from posting on boards like this. There's no need to rush, there' stil lot of time.

"Why do u smel lyk a beavr?"
"Why do you smell like a beaver?"

Which do you think is more decent to read?

***3. No Flamming.
This is a staple of Netiquette (online etiquette), but for the uninitiated, flamming means typing in CAPITAL LETTERS LIKE THIS, because it’ll mean you’re shouting. Many discussions degenerate into arguments when people begin to shout, and it also holds true online. Posts considered as flaming includes extremely large font sizes, posts colored in red, sarcasm, and the like.

Bad service, lag, frustrations, among other things, are no excuse to flame. Besides, such posts attract flames too, resulting in a cyberinferno. That is one scenario that will not be tolerated here. Such grievances can be expressed in a civilized way.

Fluffy Edited: Writing in capital words doesn't mean that it's already a flame. Flame words are those you say that can hurt, annoy, irritate and make the other members angry. Example of this are those rapid anime character fans. They flame the character opposite to the character they like (e.g Kagome and Kikyo, Asuka and Rei, Tifa and Aeris) which ofcourse, make the opposite fans flame them.


***4. No $3Xually explicit or graphically violent images (or links leading to websites with these type of content) or PORNOGRAPHY.
Please keep your porn and “rotten” collection away from the minors in the boards. Let's keep innocent minds as innocent. Thank you. Besides! There are Girls in Our Guild. in other words. BAWAL BASTUSAN

*5. Minimize one-liners and off-topic posts.
The occasional *bump* is ok, but too much and you’ll be branded a “flooder”, which can earn you a warning from the mods. Blatant off-topic posting can earn an immediate ban, in extreme cases.

Fluffy Edited: Do not 'bump' topics that are dead for a month. That will make you a flooder/a spammer.

***/*6. Don't spam the boards with the same message.
Spamming is repeatedly posting the same topic in different forums of the boards, in the hopes that the message will be seen by all. This is a bad habit by certain individuals. This act can merit instant account termination, even if your message has something meaningful or important.

Fluffy Edited: One example why people like to spam is that they want to gain popularity by having lots of posts.

*7. Post like your an intelligent person
Don't go saying "Lol lol! lol lo.... crazy! Bob is crazy..! Yes he is!!!! !! Hahahahahaaa..!! !!!"

Also, do limit your use of "!", "?", "," and ".".

*8. Always check if the topic you’ll be posting has been posted already.
Just so we can avoid a flood of “Duh! That’s been posted before, n00b!” from other posters. You can use the “search” function of the boards to check if the topic you’ll be posting has been brought up already before.

*9. Post legibly.

*10. Post in an english language
English is the broadly used language in the world. If your a French, Filipino or from other contries that has another language other than English, please refreain from using your own language (or if you happen to put a word not englished, translate it). Not all of us in here can understand that

*11. Limit your signatures.
As much as possible, limit the size of your signatures to 5 lines of 10pt text (whew! That was a mouthful!). Also, the limit of sigs that can be put into your signature is 2.

Sigs that violate this rule may be deleted without warning.


***12. No trolling.
Trolling is willfull harrassment of the community, its authorities (Admins, MODs) and users. They are also called nuisance users. Trolling, harr@$$ment, and creating disorder is definitely not tolerated here. Returning users (previously banned) deemed as trolls that do not show any sign of improvement or attonement will be banned again without any warning at all.


***/*13. Please be careful of what you link to.
When showing something, please make sure that it is viewable (no bandwidth limit, otherwise, provide alternate links), wholesome, and safe. Links that are not appropriate, dangerous, or breaks the rules in and out of EB boards will be edited out.

*14. Give Respect to Everyone in the Boards.
Just as you would like to be respected, get the first initiative and be respectful of others. It has good results and good karma too.

Especially give respect to people in authority, like the Moderators and Administrators.

15. Have FUN!!!
Very Important. The guidelines are for everyone's enjoyment, and when everyone observes the rules, everyone is happy. This is the boards's goal, make anime fans interact alot with fellow anime fans and have fun discussing about everything.

The Eternal Bless boards Forum Administrators and Moderators retain exclusive rights as to determine what breaks a rule, and also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.

By registering and posting on the boards, you have agreed to obey the guidelines.

Violation of the guidelines earns you a Warning. Further offenses will result in Account Suspension, Permanent Moderator Preview, Posting Disability and/or Permanent Ban, as per discretion of the Forum Admin or Mod on duty.

Moderators and Administrators may upgrade the punishment, or instantly ban a user when it is deemed necessary. They can downgrade the warning if an erring member mend his ways.

Discplinary actions meted towards a user are considered final and unappealable.

Forum guidelines are subject to changes without prior notice. Any changes in the guidelines has a retroactive effect. It is the responsibility of the user to check the rules to be updated.

Ignorance of the above is no excuse.
