There were two darts remaining in his hand. Two. He had to get the bullseye at least once to make it into the high score. Having already hit two others--choosing a five dart game in the electronic darts machine at one part of the arcade, while he hoped to get all five in the middle, two out of the three were still pretty good. He just needed to make these two--
--and BULLSEYE!
"Yosh!" Ruki exclaimed, pumping his fist into the air, as confidence began soaring through him. Even if he didn't make the top score, it was still alright. As long as he made it in the top lists, he would be satisfied. For now, at least. The short vocalist attired himself quite casually, from a sleeveless white shirt with a black outline and a leather jacket over it, to a pair of black jeans and sneakers. Everytime he moved his wallet chain jingled, and with his glasses tucked up above his head, it was a given that during a break of shopping, he impulsively went to play a few games here and there.
Once the machine registered that it was ready for the last dart, he aimed carefully, and hoped he'd get the bullseye, as the dart would soon leave his hand in a hurry. Wherever it landed now, was in fate's hands.

And it would veer just to the right of the bullseye!
Ruki cursed to himself. All it needed was a simple split and it would have made it right into the bullseye! Just a hair, just a hair! And he was cursing this over and over in his mind with a genuinely aggravated look on his face--having not yet noticed Shin yet, at least until a hi-score screen came up; this definitely caught the vocalist by surprise. Stepping forward, it showed that he had made it within the Top-10 dart throwers, and they wanted his name, which made him... much happier then. "I made it..." He then cheered. "Yatta! I made it!" He entered his name and pushed OK, watching as the machine then scrolled names--including his own on the list. He grinned; he was sated, for now. Soon enough though, he would be the first name that machine listed. He was sure of it.
Turning around, he blinked upon seeing Shin standing behind and off to the side of what... seemed like where he was standing. He raised an eyebrow; how long had the Kagrra guitarist been there? Looking suddenly sheepish, he smiled as such, before waving and approaching. "Ah, Shin-san. Hey there! Gomen for the delay in my greeting; I had gotten a little... distracted." He motioned, with a slightly embarrassed laugh.

Shin smiled a little to himself, holding back and stifling his laughter as the dart veered off to the side, missing the bullseye Ruki was obviously aiming for. It amused him greatly at how the other reacted to it. In a few words, it reminded him of someone throwing a tempter tantrum, but holding it all inside—as if someone was upset with their parent and couldn't swear or curse or even yell at them.
His eyes widened as the vocalist then began to cheer. I guess he got what he wanted, then... But still, Shin couldn't help the urge to laugh.
When the vocalist wheeled around and looked at him, Shin cleared his throat and stood up, covering his mouth as the last few chuckles were pulled from his lips. "Oh, it's fine. I see you were a bit... ahh... busy, there." He chuckled, smiling a little crookedly. "I see you got what you wanted." He smiled. "What brings you out today?"

Ruki couldn't escape a slightly embarrassed blush to his cheeks at the guitarist's amusement. With a quick glance of his eyes, he eyed everyone else, thankful that no one else had notice his restraint to self destruct. He had do, anyway; the majority of people here were children and he didn't want to be responsible for corrupting their innocent minds with his potty mouth.
"Ahhh," he laughed while rubbing the back of his head. "I did, yes. Top 10~ on this game, actually. I want to be number one, but I have to get all of the darts right in the center in order to achieve that. You get bonuses if you get them all in a row. So I'm close! Next time I will be in first place." He grins with optimistic determination, before emitting a small chuckle, having now calmed from his gaming high.
At the question, Ruki smiled in a very friendly manner; it was nice when he ran into friends; usually he went by himself since hardly anyone could tolerate his compulsive shopping habit, so it was pleasant. "Ah, well.. you know. I was shopping, and decided to take a break for a little while." He nodded while saying that, before turning the question back on Shin. "How about you? What brings you to the arcades today?"

"Sorry, it's rude of me to laugh." He apologized, bowing to the vocalist as he righted his hair. The guitarist tilted his head and stepped a little closer to Ruki, so they wouldn't be so far apart—he didn't want to have to raise his voice very much mostly because they may be recognized...
"Ah! Congratulations!" Shin praised, smiling widely as he listened to Ruki. "I would love to watch. I could even archive it." He laughed good naturedly, throwing a more casual and relaxed—and real smile to the vocalist. "I'm not very good at darts... Naoran's brought me to the arcade before... but we never go to anything like darts... he takes me to DDR..." the blonde trailed off, blushing a little. Barely anyone knew that he played—he hid the game in his closet at home and took it out only when he knew for sure that he was alone—it would be embarrassing if someone who didn't know him knew that he played.
"And a nice break it was." He smiled, feeling his embarrassment die away. It was always good to come across friends. Kagrra, and Gazette were rather close, too, so he considered him to be pretty good friends with the members of Gazette. "I just wanted to get out of the house. No one was home and I didn't actually feel like doing work... for the first time in history." He laughed. Everyone on the PSC label knew that he was a workaholic. "I wanted to play a game but I still haven't really decided yet."

"Thank you," Ruki replies with a wide grin. He was very proud of himself for getting the score he got. Even moreso that someone else had observed him get that score, too! It had almost felt like he had successfully done a performance in front of many, their applause and praise ringing in his ears. It motivated him all the time, and he couldn't help but simply smile with such a feel. Even at something as simple as getting the high score on a game, he was happy.
At mention of the infamous dancing game, the vocalist sobered and looked over at Shin with an intrigued look. "DDR? Hontou ni?" He questioned curiously. "Ah.. I've played that once; I am so horrible at it though." He laughs and glances over to said machine, currently being occupied by two very skilled teenagers. "I tend to trip up on my feet and end up falling. Though the game itself is fun. The music is quite intriguing, too."
"Sou sou.. I'm surprised. Kagrra,-san's Shin-kun actually not working for a change! Surprise!" He laughed, good-naturedly though, while resting a hand on the other's shoulder. It's then did he watch the two adolescent's step off, the dancing game finally abandoned for anyone else's usage. "Ne, since you said you weren't sure what to play.." Ruki trailed off, before gently pushing Shin in the DDR machine's direction. "...Show me your skills on this! I'd like to see~." He holds a smile, innocent of course, as he awaits the other's decision on his idea.

Shin smiled and shrugged at Ruki's grin. It really didn't seem to be too much of a big deal to him, but he knew that the vocalist prided himself in so many things. It was cute, in a way. The guitarist shook his head a little, smiling. It was good to see Ruki happy... It actually brought a smile to his lips and that surprised him considerably.
"Yeah..." Shin admitted shyly, chuckling a little hesitantly. "I try to avoid it and get over to Guitar Hero but... Naoran always manages to drag me to DDR... It's pretty fun." He smiled, shyly, and chuckled. "Yeah, it's pretty cool; lots of remixes. Sometimes, Naoran just likes to dance to them at home..." he bit his lip then. Too much information. He almost let it slip that he danced a little, too. Ruki didn't need to know that, he was sure. Would he become a laughing stock? Yes. Yes, he would.
"Hah. Hah. Hah." Shin pursed his lips, blinking in a very un-amused expression. "I do have a life you know." He said, pouting and feeling almost insulted for the way Ruki spoke about him. "Is that how everyone really sees me as? A workaholic who doesn't know how to have fun?" he frowned, looking down as the other began to push him in the direction of DDR. The teenagers were gone and Shin was for some reason, afraid of playing the game with the vocalist.
"I... I-I guess..." Shin shrugged, moving hesitantly towards the machine.
