No Marshmellows, It's raining......

[Jun]

The sky was gray, and the rain was pouring down. Jun sat, miserable, in his tent. He unzipped the tent flap and stared out dejectedly at the muddy camp ground. This wasn't how their camping trip was supposed to go! They were supposed to have fun, be out in the forest, in the middle of no where, and cook marshmellows!! But the rain was ruining everything. Stupid, stupid rain!!!

Jun turned and looked at his companion pathetically. "The rain's ruining everything! The bottom of the tent's getting soaked, the entire area surrounding us is complete mush, and worst of all, we can't roast marshmellows!" he whined, "What are we going to do?"

[Kai]

Kai grinned slightly. Ofcourse he rather had no rain. But seeing Jun like this was kinda amusing.
''Awww, i'm sure it will be dry tomorrow Jun-kun'' Kai said smiling. He looked around the camping.Not far away from the tiolet building was a shelter.
''for now, lets get our tent under the shelter near the toilet building, so we can sleep dry tonight''Kai said Pointing to the only area of the camping that wasn't fully soaked.
The shelter must've been made for the people to be dry in weather like this.
Kai was glad they hadn't had time to unpack all their stuff into the tent, and the only things in it where their camping matrasses and two sleepingbags.
He clothed himself in rain clothes and got out of the tent. Waiting for Jun to get out aswell and help him to move the tent to the shelter.

[Jun]

Jun sighed. He really, really didn't want to get out in that rain, but Kai was right, and his logic was sound. The tent was only going to get more wet and miserable if they stayed there. So, sighing, Jun tugged on his poncho-thing and crawled out to join Kai.

"You're right," he said. "It's a good thing we didn't unpack all of our stuff."

Jun went around to the other side of the tent and grabbed one of the corners. "How about we just pick the tent up and run it over there?" he yelled, attempting to make himself heard over the pounding rain.

[Kai]

Kai grinned as he saw Jun coming out of the tent with a long face.
He just had finished to get all the spikes out of the ground so they could move the whole tent. Seeing as Jun wanted to do the same aswell he yelled a ''yes'' over the noise of the pouring rain. He grabbed the tent carfully and shouted a ''now'' to Jun.
They both run almost the whole end towards the shelter.
Thankgod for ultra light tents he thought to himself when they finally reached the shelter.
After that he ran back to the place where their tent had been standing just a few minutes ago, to get the car to the shelter aswell.

[Jun]

Jun stood (miserably, of course) in the shelter of the trees as he watched Kai run to the car. He hoped Kai was right and that it would stop raining tomorrow. Originally, he hadn't been one for camping, but Kai had prodded him, persuaded him, and promised him that it would be ok and fun, so Jun had agreed. Jun scuffed his shoe against the semi-dry dirt on the floor and (for once in his life) prayed that everything would be ok on this trip.

Quickly, before Kai made it back with the car, Jun fished their small cooking kit out of his backpack and hunkered down in the driest spot he could find. In this horrible weather, Kai might appreciate some hot coffee.

[Kai]

Kai turned on the engine of the car and made his way towards the shelter.
Kai felt a bit sorry for Jun, but he had checked the weather forecast and it said tomorrow would be suny.
When he had parked the car so, that they could get their stuff out of it without getting soaked he stepped out of it.
''Ne Jun-kun, lets make a walk through the forest once the raining stopped''

[Jun]

Jun looked up from his small pot of almost-the-perfect-tempature coffee and smiled at Kai. "That sounds nice, Kai-kun. I would like that." Jun sighed contentedly to himself. He knew that Kai had tried really hard to make this trip work, and he was really grateful for it. Jun peered out from under the shelter of the trees. The rain did look like it was letting up a little.

Jun started as one of his fingers brushed thenot hot coffee pot. Perfect hot coffee, just the way Kai liked it.

Jun poured the coffee into a cup and stood up, brushing the dirt off of his pants. He made his way over to Kai and tapped the drummer on the shoulder, offering him the hot beverage. "Here, Kai-kun. Drink this."

[Kai]

Kai turned around, his eyes leaving the surroundings and watched Jun.
He took the cup with a smile. ''Thanks Jun-kun''
Kai's eyes looked to the rainy area again. It seemed it was getting less already.
''Ne, I guess we should move the rest of our stuff we need into the tent, and it looks like the rain is going to stop soon, so we can walk then ne~''

[Jun]

"Is the coffee okay?" Jun asked as he popped the trunk of the car. He tugged his and Kai's (huge) duffle bags out of trunk and dumped them on the ground next to the tent. "You rest." he commanded the other man. "I can unpack myself."

He didn't even wait for Kai's answer before he climed into the tent, dragging the two bags behind him. Once inside, he began to unpack the necessities, placing his and Kai's neatly folded clothes side by side in the corner. He made sure that Kai wasn't watching, however, as he hid his small stash of Gundam manga in his sleeping bag... Jun had to leave Rill in the care of Aiji, much to his contant worry, but there was NO WAY he was going out into the wilderness for two weeks without any sort of anime. He wondered what else Kai had planned for this trip as he finished unpacking.

Jun poked his head out of the tent, "Rain letting up any?" he asked of Kai.

[Kai]

''yeah it's really good, thanks'' Kai replied, watching how the other was bussy getting their stuff in the tent.
''But-''Kai tried, but he knew it was useless.
''wait a minute......You're almost 10 years older than me, and you're telling me to rest while you unpack.....not fair!'' Kai pouted slightly and finished his cup.
The rain had stopped and the sun was shining through the clouds. Not far away from their place was a bird hpoing around, trying to find some food. He smiled and threw some pieces of bread to it.

''Yeah it finally stoped, you're finished?''

[Jun]

Jun grinned and clambered out of the tent and headed out into the sunshine. He hated rain, but loved the smell left after a good rain was over. He stopped in front of Kai and mock glared.

"And I heard that 'old' comment, you know..." Jun flicked the younger man's forehead gently. "I'll have you know, I'm in my prime!"

He strolled away from the other casually, fetching his bug spray from Kai's duffle bag and spraying his arms. He tossed the can over to Kai. "Which trail are we taking?" he asked, gesturing to the three leading away from their campsite.

[Kai]

Kai could only grin in return. This week was going to be fun for sure.
Kai poked his head out of the car and pointed to the right one before moving his head back in the car.
He silently prepared a small bag with some things they might need while walking.
The usuall walking stuff so they could find the was back again, something to drink and eat, a first aid kit and some maps of the suroundings.
''Let's go ne~'' he said and hurried to walk next to Jun.

[Jun]

Jun slowed down to wait for Kai to catch up with him, and when the other had, he resumed his casual stroll through the woods. All around, he could hear the steady dripping of excess water off of the vegetation, and he could see the shafts of golden light filtering through the foliage above.

Jun hummed to himself in contentment. It certainly was nice out here. No work, no stress, not even his darling Rill to distract him from utter relaxation. He was glad Kai managed to persuade him to take a break before ALvino went on tour and go camping. Two weeks with NOTHING to do. Jun hadn't been quite so free to do what he pleased in several years. He turned to Kai for idle conversation.

"Ne, Kai-kun, what do you want to do while we're up here?"

[Kai]

''hrm... we can look around, walk and stuff, or just doing nothing.I guess we'll see ne~''Kai said smiling as he watched the surroundings, everything here was soo peacefull. He had some idea's in mind of what they could do while they where here. He was glad he already knew the surroundings from holidays with his family when he was little.
The path became slightly smaller, and some plants or tree's where hanging over it.
It didn't look like there came many people walking here, what was a good thing 'cause it made the change they would meet some fans really small.

[Jun]

Jun moved closer to Kai as the path narrowed, murmuring a soft "Gomen," as his shoulders brushed the others.

He grinned happily, "We can roast marshmellows, can't we, Kai-kun?" he giggled slightly in a way that 33 year old men should NOT. Jun was especially looking forward to the marshmellow roasting. He hadn't done it since his sister, Manami, had showed him how when they were both very small, and somehow, he found the prospect of reviving that forgotten art with Kai very appealing.

Jun suddenly stopped and pulled Kai back by the sleeve of his shirt. Before the other could say anything, Jun shushed him with a soft noise. Jun pointed, and in the dense bushes, they could see the faint outline of a mother fox ushering her cubs into their den. Jun turned to Kai, "Aren't they the sweetest little things?" he asked.

[Kai]

Kai grinned ''Ofcourse we can roast marshmellows''
He giggled slightly at hearing Jun giggle. It was funny to see a 33 year old man giggle like a teenager, but on second thought, Jun did look like a teenager, so Kai guessed it was okay for Jun to giggle.

Kai looked into the direction Jun pointed. Through the bushes he could see a mother fox and her 3 cubs. They looked so cute and Kai had the hardest time not to awww~, he didn't want to scare them after all.
He nodded and silently got his camera out of his pocket, he was really happy he had put it there, and not in his bagpack.

After taking a few photo's from the foxes(and from Jun who looked plain adorable being so absorved by watching the foxes)He grabbed Jun's hand and lead him away from the foxes.
''Let's leave them alone ne, we can always come back tomorrow to see how they are doing'' He whispered.

[Jun]

Jun blushed slightly as Kai's warm hand pulled him away from the little fox family. Kai was right, they could come back tomorrow. Jun would make sure of it.

They continued their stroll throughout the woods. And Jun was really, really glad that Kai was with him. He looked about the area surrounding them and gulped. If Kai wasn't with him, he would be so very, very lost. As if slightly afraid of getting lost even with the other man there, Jun moved a step closer to Kai and curled his fingers around the fabric of Kai's jacket.

"You brought a map, right?" he asked uneasily.

[Kai]

Kai grinned at Jun, the other was obviously scared of getting lost. Even if he didn't bring a map with him, kai was sure they wouldn't get lost since he knew the suroundings.

''Of course I brought a map, but we won't get lost, I know this area'' He smilled slightly, his hand reached out for Jun's hand, taking it from his jacket gentle. He didn't let go of it once Jun's hand had left his jacket, but continued to walk with Jun's hand in his.

[Jun]

Jun cheeks reddened considerably when Kai took his hand. Kai's grip on his hand was warm, firm and confident, and whatever tension Jun had before melted away. He glanced over at the man beside him and sent Kai and small, nervous grin. He did a little happy dance in his mind.

He most definatley hadn't been expecting this, but he would be lying if he denied enjoying it. Most unexpected indeed. Jun was slightly suprised that Kai would be interested in another man 9 years older than him. He sighed mentally. Just go with it, Jun, and don't ruin it! he scolded himself lightly.

"You've been here before?" Jun asked, "When did you come? With family, or with other friends?"

[Kai]

Jun wasn't the only one with now red cheeks. Kai's cheeks and gone bright red when he took Jun's hand in his, and the blush didn't seem to leave him anytime soon.
He was happy to find out that Jun, was just as him blushing. That meant something, right?
He didn't care if Jun was much older than him, from the inside Kai was sure Jun was 9 years younger than him instead of older. And he also looked like someone younger than him.

Kai nodded slightly at Juns words.''I used to come here with my parents when i was little almost every vacaton, so i know this place pretty good''
