The Rules
By joining this site, you agree to follow all the below rules.
. . . To Register: When joining Epsilon Forgotten, please be sure to make your username the first, middle, and last name of your character or only the first and last name of your character, all with proper capitalization- no all caps or that such nonsense please. The only members who have only one name would be the administrators or the moderators, this makes them easier to recognize. If you accidentally create an account with a username that is not in the requested layout, please message a staff member with your request to have it changed, this should include your character's first, middle and last name so they know what they're changing it to.
. . . Also, you have one account per character, you have a second character- you make a second account for that character. It makes everything easier for everyone to know which character is where.
. . . Acceptable Username: John Doe Smith, Marie Ann Spinster
. . . Unacceptable Username: JOHN DOE SMITH, john doe smith, babycakesluv999, Freddie
. . . Overall Stuff: I'm expecting you to know the basic courtesies or roleplaying and because of that trust in you, I'm going to make this as short and simple as possible. Firstly, if you join and disappear- we will all be saddened by you and we might have to sacrifice a monkey, which only makes things even more sad. *Please try to be active. If you are inactive for longer than two weeks without informing everyone about an extended absence then your account will be moved to the 'inactive' group until your return and your roleplays will be moved to the archives. If you have a problem with this then it is your own fault as we do have a designated place for you to post of your extended absences.
. . . Secondly, be polite to the staff and members of this site, we want this to be a fun place to RP and if we have people soiling the place with poor attitudes then it ruins the mood. Offenses will be treated per situation, meaning the level of your offense will dictate the level of your punishment. Don't think this means we're just waiting to punish you though, we're some pretty nice people and you can message us about any questions or problems you may be experiencing here on Epsilon Forgotten. We're here to help.
. . . Thirdly, NOBODY IS PERFECT! Not you, not your character. If your application is for a character that is a mary sue or gary stu, then we reserve the right to deny your character on those grounds, if your character is accepted but upon roleplaying they reveal themselves to be a mary sue or gary stu then we reserve the right to inform you that your character is such and should either change or be deleted from the site.
. . . Lastly, be creative with your name and try not to have one too similar to another character on the site, it makes things confusing and it will more likely than not irritate the other player.
. . . The Toxic Breakdown and Kickass Woman sites are sites intended for in-character use and that is all so while using them please be sure to remain in character.
. . . Roleplaying: No godmoding, powerplaying, or mary sues/gary stus. Okay, now that we have that out of the way I'd like to tell you that this site is MATURE, sex, gore, et cetera are allowed here, however if you do have such things in a roleplay then please put '[MATURE CONTENT]' in the topic description. Whether or not the warning is needed is up to your discretion but if an administrator or moderator reads your roleplay and believes one is necessary but not in place they will message you and inform you that your roleplay has mature content and that a warning has been put in place on your roleplay board.
. . . There is no posting minimum here on Epsilon Forgotten but we do ask that you please give the other RPer something to respond to, if you consistently post with unreasonably short posts then you will be messaged and asked to step it up a bit.
. . . Graphics: Your avatar should be a 140x225 image of your character. If you cannot find an image of this size you can either create an account on photobucket (or use a preexisting account), or use
this site resize or crop an image of your character from your computer though you will still need to host the image, imageshack should be able to do that just fine.
. . . Signatures can no larger than 550x300 and please do not use any animated signatures or avatars.
. . . Last But Not Least: Have fun, it was kind of the point for making the site.
* Being active means logging in and posting at least once a week, not logging in for a length of two weeks without previous warning will result in the deletion of your account.
