EM is open! Updates!

Long time no see, hey?

We're extremely sorry to keep you all waiting for the grand reopening of Envious Magic, and we're extremely grateful if you've managed to stick around! You'll be glad to see that our absence hasn't been completely pointless, though, as we've made various updates throughout the site which we hope will help increase activity as well as make it a more enjoyable place to roleplay

• Canon List.
  - here. We've created a new and much improved list which provides lots of new opportunities across all of the organisations here at EM, so go check it out! If you played a canon character before the closure of EM only to find that they are now available, but you would like to continue roleplaying them, please PM a member of staff and we'll try and fix the situation.
  
  
• 'Positions Within Organisations' thread.
  - here. It came to our attention that the roles within each of the organsiations weren't always clear, and so we have created this handy list for members to read through and give an overview of the organisations - their aims and enemies, their members and what they do - so that if you do decide to take up a canon character who is involved with a group, you have background information on their role. It's really reccomended that you read, be you a new member or old
  
  
• Plot Developments and Changes.
  - You may or may not have noticed that the date at [EM] has moved back, and we are currently in January, 1998. Currently, the students of Hogwarts are on their Christmas holidays, therefore areas outside of Hogwarts are open for a limited time, including Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley. In addition to these forums, we are re-introducing 'House' forums which you can apply for. For more information on these, please look here. Towards the end of [EM] January, we will open the Hogwarts Express for roleplaying.
  
  
• Forum Clean Up.
  - Various areas of the forum have been cleared, including plots and the plotting panatheon. If you wish to retrieve either, please PM a member of staff who will be able to retrieve it for you.
  
  
• Staff.
  - Just as a small notice to let you know that if any staff members are currently away, their name will be put in italics on the sideboard. Currently Jess and Megan are around when they can be, but are extremely busy right now with other commitments, so if you have an urgent problem please PM any of the mods or the Administrator account (:

Things to look forward to in the coming months:
- Further, more in-depth plot developments.
- Increased activity and updates from staff.
- Hogwarts Re-opening.
- Opportunities for you to become fully involved with the organisations and their activities.
