1) Don't do anything that breaks Invisionfree's Terms of Service, such as posting porn or discussing ROMs. I don't want this board to be deleted.

2) Don't spam, unless you're on the spam forum of course. This includes double posting or posting just for the sake of bumping a topic.

3) Don't excessively flame or intentionally start a flame war. Similarly, if a Moderator or Administrator tells you you're being too much of a jerk, stop.

4) Don't abuse the "Report" function.

5) Don't bring up "Questionable" topics, like sex, except on the spam forum. If a discussion begins to develop into such a topic, make a thread for it on the spam board.

6) Don't say things that are really offensive.

7) Don't use a huge signature. As in, keep it no more than 300 pixels high and 500 pixels wide, as well as under 150kb.

8) Don't act like an idiot just to get attention.

9) Don't make multiple accounts.

10) Don't abuse the Report function, if you report something that doesn't break any of the rules or isn't in the grey area, you will get the warn.

11) No censor bypassing, they are there for a reason.

If you break any of the above rules, you'll get a warning, sometimes multiple warnings in the case of Rule #1, but depending on the situation. Also, if you made a second account and were warned on that account, any warnings from that account carry over to your first account. If you're warned, the warning will be removed if you aren't warned for a month. However, if you accumulate several warnings, the Administrators will use multiple means to convince you to stop breaking the rules, aka punishments. The punishments for each level of warn are as follows:

30% Warn: 3-day suspension

50% Warn: One-week suspension

60% Warn: Transferred to the Restricted group

70% Warn: Two-week suspension

80% Warn: Transferred to the Prohibited group

90% Warn: One-month suspension

100% Warn: Banned


In most situations, even after someone has been banned, they will be given one more chance. After two months, they will be allowed back, for one week, with additional privilege restrictions on top of the restrictions from the Very Restricted group. If, during that week, they do not receive any more warnings and also are active and helpful, then after that week 10% of Warn will be removed, putting them at 90%. The additional restrictions will also be removed. However, if they either are warned more or are not helpful, then they will be re-banned. No additional chances will be given to anyone who has been banned and re-banned, whether they were allowed back after the week or not.
