Chapter 1

four months earlier


Lisa and David were married since a year and half. Richard was in jail, six months after his arrest the district of the jail where he was, was ravaged by a fire, Richard had perished in this fire. Sabrina h left Kerima and she left Berlin with Abdelah Suleiman. Mariella and Laurent came back to Berlin and had twins, Nicholas and Victoria. Rokko had met a girl, and went to New York with her.

David and Lisa directed Kerima. An Egyptian lady, Isis Seshmet has been working for them as their secretary for two month, she was gifted, and everybody liked her. Cyndy Mac Larkins was Hugo's assistant.



That morning, David woke up very early, he had an important meeting. Lisa awakened a little later, she went in the kitchen and met her husband. When he saw her coming, he took her in his arms and kissed her tenderly.
"Gabrielle has prepared your breakfast", he said.
"Thank you"
The young woman didn't eat a lot.
David noticed it , worried he raised his eyebrows, he took Lisa's face in his hands and forced her to look at him.
"Sweetheart! Are you ok?"
"Yes, "she answered with a shy smile.
" But you're not eating a lot."
" I'm not very hungry."
The young man, looked at his wife, more and more worried.
" Are you indeed certain that everything is well?"
She took his hand.
"Yes, I'm fine."
She rose and massaged her husband's shoulders .
"David, I think you need to relax"
He raised his head and looked at his wife with love, he pulled her against him and kissed her passionately on the mouth.
"You seemed a little tired lately."
"It's nothing, it's because we have a lot of work."
"I think you should take a rest ."
"I'm fine, don't worry."
" I don't want that you catch something bad, I prefer that you stay here. You will join me a little later."
- But…..
- Lisa, the most important, is your health.
- I will join you this afternoon, the young woman added.
David and Lisa exchanged a kiss.

Some instants after that David had left, Lisa vanished.
- It's nothing, probably the flu, she thought."
