This post will state the basic premise and the general rules of this event. Subsequent posts will be common knowledge posts.
The subject is the 1982 film "The Thing", which recently spawned a 2011 prequel. The basic premise is that we are all stuck in this base which is in the freaking cold mountains. We find ourselves hunted by a 'thing' (unknown alien), which assimilates its victims and imitates them. The poor victims have absolutely no idea they are the thing until it shows itself.
If you are one of the starting 'things' (there will be two of you, but you won't know), you're goal will be to assimilate your enemies. Technically I will be the one doing the assimilating (once i do so, you can control your character as the thing knowing you are the thing), but if you survive with everyone assimilated, you win.
If you are not a thing, then you need to survive and not be a 'thing', you win.
Winners will be given either a cash reward or will have the choise to pick a random number which can give you a useless item or an epic item (example, character crystal or a single kunai).
If you sacrifice yourself for your wide and your side wins, you will be given a small (probably cash, but I havent decided) reward.
Now the weather has not been kind to you. For one, you realize that your stats and techniques have been heavily effected by the cold. ALL AUTO PASSIVES ARE DISABLED FOR THIS EVENT. Most techniques either lose their afflictions or a chunk of their power and you wont know until you use them. Furthermore, all living summons that have their own AP/techniques, etc are also disabled (so no kage bunshin or Miyashi's summoning).
I know the reason why makes little sense, but I want this to be an even that uses your brain, not your characters overall power.
You can either spend a turn going into the next room, interacting with another character, or investigating your own room (which might reveal clues, items). While in your current room, I won't be anal on 'whose turn it is'. There are no turns, but usually I will wait until everyone's posted. Speaking of which,
YOU HAVE 2 DAYS TO POST BEFORE YOU'RE SKIPPED. However, if you're skipped twice, you automatically become a 'thing'. Please, PLEASE, try to post at least once a day. I dont want this to drag out like the saga.
Perhaps controversially, most of your quests will take place IN YOUR PRIVATE FORUMS. Please spread this around. Why? Well, I want to play up the mystery. If you meet someone who isn't an NPC, you can invite them into your PF (we can change passwords before or after) or if you dont like that, it can be done in PM (But you HAVE to include me when you send your messages).
If you're group becomes 3 or more, it will be done in this forum. When the event is over, I'll post everyones privates quests (probably here) for entertainment purposes.
If you go outside, your stats are halved and you lose 200HP per turn (a temp suit helps this though). There are ultimately 4 locations
- Main base (probably where most of you are) - Garage (snowmobile and tools can be found here) - Helipad (guess?) - Falkor's cabin (because he's a loner) - a shack (some tools) - Boiler Room (where generator is kept)
I won't tell you where everything is though (for mystery sake!)
Luckily, there will be various items that you can find that will help give your character an edge. Here are some items to look for.
Temp Suit: A suit designed to keep you warm outside, but it only helps so much.
Guns: There are ultimately going to be 3 different kinds of guns. These allow you to use the bulk of your ki for excess damage.
Flame Thrower: Perhaps your most valuable weapon, but be careful you dont burn the place down! It's power actually depends on your pl.
Flares: You need to see, don't you. Mainly used outside.
There are plenty more items, and details about them will be listed when you get them.
Note: You cannot just carry anything. Each weapon has a 'point' system based on how heavy it is. Ex, flame thrower is 7 points. How many points do you have? Well, every 50 strength= 1 point.
So if you have 200 strength, you have 4 points and cannot carry a flame thrower.
The Thing is generally going to be pretty powerful, some of its moves are going to be rather rigged compared to your own. I want to stress that you're going to need to use your brain to survive this. You have tio decide how to figure out who is the Thing and decide whom you can trust if anyone.
NO, SEEING TECHNIQUES WILL NOT REVEAL THE THING!
Below will be a prologue (once I get around to it), where I'll role play as all of you for a short while. But first, here is all of our jobs (each job gives you a skill/items/weapons).
Miyashi: Commander- As the same says, Miyashi is our base and technically is in charge. She has the master keys (some doors are locked).
Falkor: Helicopter pilot- In many ways, the most important job, Falkor knows how to fly a helicopter.
Vrede (NPC): Assistant Helicopter Pilot- Being able to fly a helicopter is very important as it's your link to survival. Really, Vrede is a pilot in training.
Gotehk: Biologist- Science is the main reason why they're there in the first place. He seems to know certain things about the alien due to his profession.
Jecht (NPC): Assistant Biologist- Gotehk's assistant who helps him when he's needed. While Jecht doesn't have all of Gotehk's knowledge, he can figure it out by going through his notes should he choose to do so. If Gotehk isn't around, he's the expert.
Trunks: The Geologist- His expertise is simply in geology as he was sent there to study the earth. Trunks will have more knowledge on what's around 'outside' and possibly some info on the alien spacecraft.
Vegeta: Meteorologist- Another scientist, sent to study what comes from the sky. He might be a help when it comes to experimenting or testing
Vincent: The Dog Sled handler- Because the snow mobile moves rather slow, Vincent is the man to go when you need a ride...possibly not the best idea considering that he's blind. Vincent mainly just takes care of the dogs, but is the only one who can use the sled.
Addramyr: The Physician- He's pretty much the teams doctor/medic, having the best (human) medical knowledge which means he gets some nifty tips about how to conquer this thing. He even has some nice supplies.
Neza: The Cook- Neza is obviously the cook and his only purpose is to feed them. While having no useful knowledge, he does get some unique items.
Atama: The Engineer- Atama is the designated mechanic, his main job being there to fix things when they break down. His most important job is to keep the generator running and is the best when it comes to operating the flame thrower.
Athkin: Radio Operator- Athkin is the only one who really knows how to use the radio operator and will be given the only communication device in the whole event. H
Super 17 (NPC): Janitor- Actually, Super 17 is really just another body used when an extra person he's needed. He's considered Miyashi's assistant, a guard and the janitor. He complains a lot and owns a shotgun (the only one in the base).
It's late so I apologize for rushing this (and for an assload of spelling errors, I'm sure). If I can think of anything else, I'll add it. Tomorrow (today, technically) I'll post a prologue and it shall begin.
Edit: Two things I forgot
1) When I begin your quest in your rp, I'm going to make everyone sound suspicious so that the player cant suspect they are the thing. Example, 'so and so weren't sure why they were there'.
2) YOU CANNOT TELL OTHER PEOPLE WHAT GOES ON IN YOUR PRIVATE FORUM! DOING SO IS CHEATING AND WILL MAKE THIS BORING. If you catch someone cheating, give me proof and you will either get a 10k cash reward or a free lvl up (+50). If you're caught cheating, you lose 50% of your networth (cash) and your total stats are reduced by 150 (25 each twice). PLEASE DONT LET THIS HAPPEN.
Edit 2: Jay brought up an interesting point. No, you cannot use your items at least at your start. Your items can be found, however, in your rooms. They do cost points.

The Z Warriors are not really sure what they were thinking when they agreed to sign up for what had to be their most tedious quest yet: Working in the freezing mountains where ones urine would freeze mid stream (Jecht tried), but they did so and made the best of their situation.
No one knew what to expect, but a prophecy had suggested that something important was about to happen. Each had been assigned a job, and it had been chosen rather randomly. Some were understandable. Falkor and Vrede as helicopter pilots? Fine. Miyashi as the leader? As much as Vegeta and Falkor grumbled, that was also fine.
Young Gotehk as a biologist, however, was about as daft as assigning Jecht as the assistant biologist. Plus, having Vincent in charge of dog sledding was only surpassed in stupidity by the idea of Vincent being one of those pilots. Addramyr as the doctor, giving out prostate exams? Super 17 was disturbingly okay with that, disturbingly. Athkin actually had some cooking skills, so found himself bitter when Neza was chosen as the cook. Vegeta and Trunks were also scientists and realized they had to learn a bit about their profession, as their education was brutally lacking.
But while hard, eventually everyone began to adjust. Sure, it was apparent that they were significantly weaker in the weather, but they managed and that was something.
But their story was about to begin....
***
Atama had reached the outside first when the sounds of a helicopter stirred the base. She tried to read the language, but it was Namekian.
"What's going on?" Vegeta grumbled, appearing next to her. Trunks and Vrede followed suit.
"What does it say?" Trunks asked.
"Looks Namekian," Atama responded.
Vrede tried to focus on the words. "E-something.......my Namekian is rather hazy. Where is Falkor?"
***
Falkor was drunk, playing a game of chess with his computer and he was losing miserably.
"Cheating bitch," he slurred and poured the contents of his drink onto it.
***
Gotehk and Addramyr were playing a game of ping pong in the rec room, initially ignoring the whirring blades. Addramyr had personally presumed it was Falkor training Vrede, whose skills as a pilot were somewhat lacking.
After a fierce battle, Addramyr finally got the upper hand and won the game.
"Aw man," Gotehk sighed. "Thought I had you for a minute."
"God dammit," both turned to the angry voice of Super 17, who had been playing a video game. "What the fuck is with that noise?"
***
Vincent had been spotting Jecht as Jecht bench pressed impressively in the weight room, but the sounds had distracted him. Not the sounds of of the helicopter, however, but the sounds of gunfire. As he moved through the base (the weight room was on the other side), he heard Neza roller blade past him.
"Hey, do me a favor," Neza asked. "If Falkor's getting supplies. Tell him we need some veggies."
Vincent nodded, mildly surprised that Neza hadn't heard the gun go off. Sometimes he forgot that his own hearing was improved due to his blindness.
***
Miyashi had been busy sighing, glancing over her paper work when the first bullet went off. Looking outside the window, she realized that the helicopter was not their own and it was shooting at something. She peered intently, but could not see what thanks to the snow hills.
Pulling out a walkie-talkie, she held down a button and put her mouth to it.
"Athkin, this is Miyashi. Has anyone radioed in today? Over."
Static.
"No," Athkin's voice came through. "It's been dead for three days."
Miyashi frowned, marched to her desk, and withdrew a small revolver.
****
"It's shooting at It!" Trunks cried. By now, Vincent and Super 17 had joined the group outside.
"What is it?" Vincent asked, cursing his blindness. However, no one seemed to tell. All took a step back when an explosion happened in a distance.
"Fucking throwing bombs now?" 17 grumbled.
"Wait," Vincent held up a hand. Pausing for a moment, he stammered "I think it's a dog."
"Why would they be shooting at a dog," Vegeta folded his arms.
All froze when the dog came into view, making a B line towards them. Vrede gulped.
"I think this isn't going to end well for somebody."

The dog seemed normal enough, panting and huffing and looking rather healthy.
"Is it one of ours?" Vegeta asked. Vincent only shook his head.
"Then I have no idea how it can be alive," Vegeta shrugged.
"It's from base A," Falkor said, standing a distance behind him.
"Base A?" Trunks asked, confused. "There's another base?"
Falkor shrugged, sighing. "That's what it says on the copter."
Another glance at the dog caused everyone to shiver. They were wearing heavy temperature suits to keep themselves from freezing and they still had to deal with reduced speed and exhaustion.
"Um," Atama began. "What happens if they start shooting at us?"
The helicopter began to land.
"He's pretty bold to be flying with a white out coming so soon," Falkor observed. Vrede nodded in agreement. The dog could clearly see them by now and had increased it's speed. Voices from the copter could be heard, but only Vincent could make out some of the words ("hurry, it...escaped...")
The person who delivered those words held something in his hand, but it was vanished in an instant. Both men cried out and one (who was carrying a gun) began to run. The other who dropped the item was digging in the snow from it.
The man digging seemed to transform into a fiery explosion which consumed him and his helicopter. The survivor dived forward, barely escaping it.
****
Miyashi gasped at the sight. The door behind her opened and Neza entered.
"Heya Miyashi, what's going-"
She held up a hand to silence him and broke the window that lead to the outside. She couldn't see whom the two strangers were (the temp suits made everyone look the same anyway), but they were clearly mad.
"Go tell everyone to get down," she ordered. Neza nodded and rolled away.
****
When the dog reached them, it pounced on Super 17 who characteristically let out a loud curse in response. It licked his face, yelping happily.
"Get the fuck off me dog!" he whined until the sound of gunfire alerted him to a threat.
In response, Vrede pressed his fingers against his head and began to harness his ki but Vegeta jumped on him, pushing him to the ground. 17 scrambled to his feat but it was too late. The rifleman fired, missing the dog and striking him in the leg.
"Fuck!" 17 cried as his leg nearly exploded.
"Idiot," Vegeta whispered to Vrede. "Our power's are limited right now and these items are designed to magnify theres."
Vincent dived to the ground, inwardly praying (in the form of a rap song) that the rifleman wasn't aimed for him. Trunks joined him, taking note that the rifleman seemed largely disinterested in them.
Atama stood out the most, mainly because she was standing with a mildly confused look on her face.
The rifleman ignored her and followed the dog, who ran back in the direction of the base. Falkor blinked. Was he drunk or did the attacker look Namekian? He definitely saw some green there. Falkor swiftly moved towards 17.
"Are you okay?"
17 nodded, appearing to be more pissed off than hurt despite the fact that this was not a place to get major wounds. Falkor ordered Atama to get the doctor, but Atama was already running towards them.
****
Atama entered only to run into Neza, who told her Miyashi's message and received a busted nose for being rather late on that. Luckily, Addramyr was already suited up. Jecht and Gotehk nervously stood behind him.
"17 is injured!" She yelled. Addramyr nodded, grabbing his medic kit.
"Where's Miyashi?" Atama asked as Addramyr darted past her.
****
Miyashi aimed her weapon at the rifleman, who didn't even notice her. He fired again but missed. Athkin suddenly appeared outside, probably checking what the commotion was himself. He froze at the sight of the rifleman as the dog darted towards him. At this rate, unless the dog was hit, Athkin would surely be struck.
Miyashi's gut tightened as she pulled the trigger.

The dog casually walked around the group, eyes on the corpse in the center. It jolted slightly when Vincent knelt next to it.
"Hey boy," He patted its head to calm it down.
Miyashi took her place as leader, eying the dead rifleman who had been shot through the eye. The only ones who weren't present were Super 17, Jecht, Neza and Addramyr. Addramyr was in his own office, fixing up 17's leg. 17 himself was guzzling down whisky. Jecht was joking around with him, being 17's only real friend. Neza was simply in the kitchen doing his work, not seeing the point of being outside.
Atama, Falkor and Vrede were investigating the helicopter. The body was an unidentifiable mess and the helicopter was unusable, but Vrede had spotted some gasoline and Falkor had ordered them to collect it.
Miyashi and Vegeta knelt over the dead rifleman. Gotehk, Athkin and Trunks watched at a distance, with Vincent a few paces back with the dog. Miyashi removed the head flap and Vegeta gasped, eyes wide.
"A namekian," Miyashi observed. She glanced at Vegeta's expression. Trunks shared it. "You know him?"
Vegeta nodded. "Picollo, an old friend."
"Why would he be here?" Miyashi asked. Vegeta shrugged.
"We haven't seen Picollo for awhile," Trunks chimed in.
"The look in his eyes," Athkin shuddered. "He seemed insane."
Gotehk suddenly remembered something. "Come on, Athkin, we better see if we can report this in."
Athkin nodded slowly, following Gotehk back inside.
Miyashi sighed. "Vegeta, Trunks, bring him inside. We'll get Addramyr to do an autopsies."
She turned and began walking in Falkor's groups direction, ignoring the hostile glances the two saiyans gave her.
****
An hour later, things were rather frantic. Athkin grasped his radio set angrily.
"Base A, Base A," He growled. "Come in, Base A. Over. We have an incident with one of your crew."
No response.
"Well?" Gotehk said impatiently. "Hurry up and report it, it's been an hour and we need to report this mess."
Athkin turned his eyes angrily at the Saiyan. "I'm trying. Communications has been dead for days!"
Both men frowned, unsure how to proceed.

The body had been placed in Addramyr's office. He conducted his autopsy in silence while Vegeta, Jecht, Miyashi, Athkin, Vrede, Neza and Super 17 sat around, debating what could've happened.
"I say cabin fever," Vrede suggested. "I mean, look at Vegeta, he's pretty crazy, talking to himself and everything."
Vegeta's eyes turned bloodshot and he glared at Vrede. "I'm not crazy! AAAAAAHH!" He ran out of the room screaming but based on everyone's responses, this was nothing new.
"Well," Addramyr sighed. "Can't find anything wrong with him physically."
He pondered for a moment.
"I suggest that we go to their camp and check out what's wrong."
Miyashi had explained to them earlier that she had known there was another base, but it was an hour away. No one thought to ask how the dog could've survived, as the hour referred to how long it would take by chopper.
"Are you sure?" Miyashi asked. "That sounds dangerous."
Addramyr shrugged. "I think it would be wise to at least see what caused all of this. We have a moral obligation to do so."
"It seems risky," Athkin said quietly. "Falkor mentioned a white out coming."
Vrede shrugged. "I'll take you doc-"
"Bullshit, Vrede." Miyashi interrupted.
Without missing a beat, Vrede laughed: "Yeah, but thanks for asking Vrede." He said in a mock feminine voice.
"Usually Super 17 would go," Athkin looked at 17, who cursed and looked away tightly. "Because he acts as our guard. So who will go with Addramyr?"
"Oh yeah," Miyashi said looking up. "17 is also the janitor, so until he recovers, I think Jecht and Athkin will have to pick up the slack-"
She turned to face the two realizing that both were gone. Miyashi sighed.
"Let's get Falkor and Vegeta. They'll go with you, Addy."
****
Convincing Falkor to fly with a storm on the horizon had not been easy, and despite Miyashi's insistence, Addramyr conceded that it was Falkor's choice. Falkor reluctantly caved in and now he, Addramyr and Vegeta flew towards Base A.
All three wore their suits and Vegeta was using Super 17's shotgun. He expected to arrive to find a pile of bodies. Picollo had clearly been driven insane, but by what?
"Oh shit," Falkor gasped. Addramyr and Vegeta looked out the window and echoed his statement. Smoke emanated from the camp. It looked like it had been partially burned down! Falkor landed the chopper and hoisted his own rifle. All three exited and looked around.
"Hello!" Falkor yelled. No answer.
They kicked in the door.
"Yo! Anyone here?!" Falkor yelled again. Still no answer.
Death reeked through the place and all three braced themselves for carnage. But the first thing Addramyr noticed were the piles of notes. He instantly went to collecting the papers.
"What are you doing?" Vegeta scoffed.
"Could be useful," Addramyr said simply. Falkor had gone into the next room already, so Vegeta followed.
"Hey guys-" Addramyr looked up, startled, only then realizing that he was all alone. There were no sounds other than the wind.
"Gusy-" Addramyr got up and started moving quickly in there direction. He halted when he entered the next room, sighing in relief as Vegeta and Falkor stared at a dead body which sat in a chair. Addramyr slowly walked around it, noticing that the man had slit his own wrists and the blood had frozen mid stream. He gulped and peered at the man's frozen face when he finally reached them.
"Who is he?"
"She," Falkor responded. "It's Ice."
"Ironic, really." Vegeta said humorlessly. He stomped to the next room.
"Oi guys," He called out. Falkor and Addramyr ran up behind him. Inside was a block of ice, and something clearly had been there only to bust out.
"What is it?" Vegeta asked, not bothering to notice how pointless the question was.
"I don't know," Addramyr whispered.
Falkor looked to a new door, that likely lead to the outside. An axe had been jammed into it.
"We should leave," Falkor said pointedly. "Before the storm hits."
"Right," Addramyr nodded and the two followed him out. Falkor stopped dead in his tracks.
"What the fuck-"
"Bebi!" Vegeta yelped. "And...Christ, is that Dolor?"
The...thing...was both yet neither. It was as if Bebi and Dolor's bodies has assimilated each other, their faces grotesquely connected by the cheek. Their bodies had been burned, whatever it was. But signs of strange, ugly tentacles and dogs legs sprouted from it....Addramyr gulped.
"Get a shovel," Vegeta ordered. "We better take this...thing...back with us."
Addramyr raised a hand and concentrated, cursing as he felt his own powers seem to be waver due to the damn weather. However, a shovel slowly made it's way towards them. Vegeta took it.
"Now get a blanket. I ain't touching this thing like it is."
****
They returned within an hour, making good time before the storm hit. Miyashi rounded everyone to Gotehk's workplace as Jecht and Athkin were forced to drag the find inside. They dropped the body on the table. Instantly, covered their faces with their hand. The fumes emanating from the creature were nauseating.
"What is this?" Neza asked, resisting the urge to vomit on the spot.
"It's not right," Atama whispered, appearing afraid. "It's not right."
"Gotehk," Miyashi began tightly. "I want you to perform an autopsy on it with Jecht and Addramyr as your assistants. We'll go through their notes."
Gotehk, without stating a word, dived right into the project. Jecht groaned and Addramyr himself was reluctant, but to Gotehk it was the find of the century!
****
It was a busy day for the rest of them.
Vegeta, Trunks and Super 17 were reading all of the notes and the rest of the crew were watching video footage Addramyr had brought back.
The footage showed Picollo, Teen Gohan, Ice, Dolor, Mirku and Kane Dulshire chearing as they found something, but none of the footage showed much.
"How much more of this?" Neza complained.
"Nine hours worth," Athkin sighed.
"It appears they were working about four miles south of their location," Trunks informed based on his notes. Vegeta inwardly scowled. Even the geologist had something to do! There was nothing for the meteorologist!
"I suggest," Falkor frowned. "That we take a visit to wherever the hell they were investigating."
No one bothered disagreeing. When Falkor wanted to fly a risky flight, they knew it was important.

Atama had decided to accompany Miyashi to the autopsy results when Athkin was refused. Miyashi stressed to Athkin that it was more than important that Athkin reach someone, anyone. However, when they arrived, she instantly regretted it.
Atama may have had the tendency to act bizarre, but in many ways she was more in tune with what was going on compared to the others, and what she saw frightened her.
"Well," Gotehk took an instrument from jecht to make an example. "It's internal organs look just like ours, and the blood is similar too."
He leaned back and let a loud groan. "Man, this is something I've never seen before."
"You've never done an autopsy before," Jecht reminded him. Gotehk scowled. So what if he was 13 years old. He was still the damn biologist and he would be respected!
"Jecht, please check the stool sample." Gotehk suggested with a smile. Jecht sighed and did as he was told.
"Honestly, it scares me." Gotehk told Miyashi. "On the outside it's a freak of nature, but on the inside it's relatively normal. He has the alien's intestines, but the hollows heart. If I saw it in front of me, I'd presume it was a mere hybrid. But-" Gotehk frowned but shrugged it off.
"I need more time to look at it, I'm sorry."
Atama wasn't complaining, but she could tell Miyashi was rather disappointed.
"Very well, do your best."
***
It didn't take much searching to find what the other team had been investigating. Falkor, Vegeta, Trunks and Vrede stood over a massive crater, jaws dropped. A large, circular spaceship that looked almost cartoonishly cliched (other than its size) sat in the crater. Ice covered it, but they could see it clearly.
Trunks and Vegeta had taken a rope down to investigate. Falkor watched them and wished he was down there. He began to search around anyway. Vrede followed him.
"Hey Falkor," Vrede began. "What?" "I see something."
Falkor followed his gaze and in the distance, Falkor saw it two. A burned snowmobile next to a normal one sat there, unmoving. Falkor was fast and made it there quickly, even with the temp suit restricting him.
In the burned snow mobile, the charred remains of a man sat there. Peering closely, Falkor saw that it was Goku Jr. Or so he thought. It was impossible to tell, really. As Vrede reached him, Falkor suddenly felt scared. Goku Jr had a reputation of being an idiot, but he was also impressively strong. Yet the look on the corpse face was sheer terror. What could have done this?
Vrede had begun investigating the other vehicle. Inside was the body of an elvish woman. In her hand was a knife, which he presumed she used to slit her own throat with. The expression on her face was dismay.
"Sae," Falkor said from behind him. "God, what happened here?"
***
Vegeta was amazed. He hadn't seen such excellent craftsman in a long time, much less such a shapeship that had it. Unfortunately, all efforts to enter were fruitless.
"I'm guessing," Trunks looked around. "It crashed here before the universe became a single planet. It's been a few years based on its depths."
Vegeta nodded. All sorts of possibilities were entering his mind now. With a space ship, Vegeta felt like he could rule the world.
"Vegeta," Trunks got his attention. "They're calling us."
Looking up, Vegeta saw Falkor and Vrede waving frantically.
***
Vrede informed them up the two corpses, and Falkor insisted that they leave. The white out was coming and it was coming fast. Moving quickly towards the helicopter, a yelp startled them. Searching around, they noticed that Trunks was gone!
"Where is he?" Vrede asked, beginning to panic. The snow had picked up and they could barely see themselves, much less each other.
"Hey!" Trunks yelled from below. Looking down, they saw Trunks head standing above the snow. He had fallen into a small, cleanly cut crater.
"Well," Falkor frowned. "I believe we found where they found the ice."
Ultimately, they returned unharmed. After delivering their report, Falkor quickly moved towards his cabin. He was exhausted and wanted a drink.
***
"Athkin," Neza called. Athkin turned quickly only to see it was Neza.
"Yeah?" Athkin asked bleary eyed.
"Miyashi says its late," Neza responded. "Go ahead and get some sleep."
"Oh?" Athkin looked at the time. "God, you're right. Let me wrap it up."
Neza nodded and left him to it.
***
"Jecht," Gotehk said, his voice tight.
"Yeah?" Jecht asked, holding some containers full of samples.
"I'm going to stay up a bit more," Gotehk cleared his throat. "Go ahead and call it a night."
Without protesting, Jecht nodded and left.
***
That night, unbeknownst to anyone, the dog stalked the halls. It had spent the previous day walking around. At one point, Athkin had noticed that it was staring at Vincent rather oddly while Vincent was attempting to play fetch with it. However, when Athkin spoke, it snapped out of it and played with Vincent happily.
Later on, Neza could've sworn that it was scouting the place out, although he shrugged it off as dogs tended to do that anyway. Currently, it was in the hall of the sleeping quarters. It paused at the entrance of the hall, tilted its head to the right slightly, and entered a room. A shadow, startled, turned to face it.

"Dammit, Neza!" Super 17 roared the next morning. Music blared through the camp, coming from the kitchen.
"I'm trying to sleep! Don't you know that I was shot."
"Roger," Neza nodded sympathetically, moving to turn the volume on his stereo down. But as soon as 17 left - probably cursing- Neza left it as it was and pushed back on his roller blades, sliding to the storage room.
Trunks walked past him, mumbling something about not getting any sleep. In the meeting room (as Miyashi called it), they had breakfast with the intent of updating everyone when they were complete.
Vrede, Vegeta, Falkor and Vincent were already eating. Addramyr and Athkin were preparing food as everyone else continued to wake up.
Jecht sat down and instantly growled as the dog rubbed against him.
"Jeez, Vincent. Can you put this damn dog in the kennel?"
"Right, sorry." Vincent mumbled and led the dog away.
****
"Come on," Vincent urged the dog. The other dogs all lazily laid around, barely noticing Vincent (who had already fed them). "Go on," Vincent took note that the dog seemed rather hesitant, taking a single step forwards.
After a moment, the dog completely entered. Vincent shrugged, as it was natural a dog would be nervous around dogs who were strangers. Vincent left, intending to join the others.
The dog froze, although none of the other dogs paid it any heed. It was also normal, but it continued to stay absolutely still...which was not.
***
"I dunno," Vegeta said impatiently. "It crashed there, escapes the whole universe merging nonsense and Picollo's team found it somehow."
"And that thing," Athkin said referring to the Bebi/Dolor hybrid. "That was what killed everyone?"
"But we know that Bebi and Dolor were not in the spaceship. So what did that to them?" Trunks asked.
No one answered. Finally, Atama spoke up. "Every creature has its own build that seems alien, like how Namekian's have no reproductive organs."
"Eunuchs," Jecht snickered and Falkor growled.
"Or Saiyan's blood pumps quicker than human's-" Atama continued. "Whatever that thing was, it had no build of its own so it had to use others."
"Huh?" Neza asked. "I'm confused."
"Simple," Gotehk sighed. "Whatever it is has no real build. It's a mess of other people's builds. It's a new species. Pure and simple."
Addramyr frowned. "Still, whatever it was, it was strong enough to take out a whole camp of high class warriors. I suggest we seal off the body."
"Agree-" Miyashi began but was interrupted by an irritated Vincent. He held up a pair of generic looking pants that could've been anyones.
"In the future," Vincent twitched. "Don't leave your shredded clothing on the floor. I almost slipped on it."
Miyashi sighed. But Gotehk spoke up.
"I wanna run a few more tests. I feel like there's something I'm missing."
Jecht groaned. That meant more work. Miyashi shrugged. "Fine, but be careful."
That night would possibly be the last night of their lives.

For the most part, the day went rather normally. Miyashi spent the day with Athkin, having a rather enjoyable lunch. Falkor spent half of the day with Vrede, continuing to train him in the art of being a helicopter pilot. Vegeta and Trunks performed their usual duties while Addramyr released Super 17 as perfectly healed. Super 17 was not happy, as this meant he was back to cleaning toilets.
No one else was really accounted for. Addramyr occasionally would talk with Neza or Atama and made a point to visit Jecht due to Jecht's notable fatigue. Vincent continuously played with the dogs and felt sad that the new addition seemed rather annoyed with his presence. Of course, no one could account for everyone the whole day. Even Athkin and Miyashi spent some time apart.
The only sign of stress came from Gotehk, who had become rather angry and frustrated at nothing. He even violently forced Jecht out of the room, who vented his own frustration to Super 17 and then Addramyr. It became apparent that Gotehk was becoming exhausted and even a crisp order from Miyashi did nothing to sway him.
Then night came, and the terrifying howls of the dogs began. Vincent groggily growled, wondering what in the hell was keeping them awake. He opened the door and froze still. He couldn't see what was happening, but he could hear it. He could distinctly hear the sound of flesh ripping, of liquids spraying and appendages flying. He was a mighty warrior, even with his limitations in this weather, but he found himself unable to move.
***
Falkor was merely picking up some equipment from the storage room when he heard it. The sounds of barking and yelping. His first thought was 'fire!', but without knowing it, he had grabbed his rifle and was moving towards the dog kennel. Nevertheless, he paused and sat off the fire alarm. He ignored the loud grumbles of Vegeta and 17 among others.
***
Vincent had found the strength to move and shut the cage, debating whether or not to try to free the dogs. But the limitations on his powers made it difficult for him to tell what was going on. Yet instinct told him to jump back, and he did.
The door opened and Falkor entered, with Athkin right behind him.
"What the fuck!?" Athkin cursed loudly, uncharacteristically.
What he presumed was once a dog had split open to reveal something.....else. In a way, it almost looked like a dog if the dog's skin was blotchy and had no fur. It looked rather demonic. But tentacles shot rapidly from it and a grotesque growth was forming from it's abdomen. It bloomed into a strange flower looking thing that sprayed a white fluid on one of the dogs. Tentacles suddenly attached itself too it.
Falkor opened the cage and opened fire, the bullets having marginal effect. Changing tactics, Falkor shot the victimized dog which earned a cry of anguish from Vincent. Suddenly the tentacles turned on Falkor. Holding his ground, Falkor pulled the trigger.
The gun jammed. Tentacles lashed out at him with speed even he couldn't dodge, but before his eye sight even adjusted too it, Trunks had pulled him by his collar into safety. The white fluid was sprayed and Vincent took charge. None could doge it, but he could stop it!
A barrier formed over all three of them, but Vincent began to feel it crack.
"Let's go!" Athkin cried as all three ran out as the fluids consumed the barrier. Jecht, Vegeta and Neza were now watching the spectacle.
"Get Atama! We need the flame thrower!" Athkin cried. Neza nodded and using his roller blades dashed towards the rooms, where he prayed Atama was at. Soon, Miyashi and 17 arrived to witness the carnage. Falkor was desperately trying to fix his gun as 17 and Vegeta unleashed ki blasts at the creature.
The attacks barely seemed to scratch it and worse, it seemed to get bigger as if on cue!
Everyone took a step back as Miyashi unloaded her weapon into it, realizing that the weapons were having more of an effect than the ki. Vincent felt the remaining dogs escape into the night. One tentacle nearly grabbed it but Vincent threw a force spear right into the appendage, which didn't penetrate but at least spared the dog.
"Fuck this," Vegeta roared and began charging a Galic Gun.
"No," Miyashi ordered. "It will blow this place up."
***
Atama had slowly gotten dressed when Neza burst in. Neza sputtered in embarrassment.
"They need the flame thrower." He stammered.
"What?" Atama's eyes grew wide.
"They need the flame thrower!"
****
Miyashi found herself reloading as Falkor struggled to get his gun to work. The rest of the crew had joined them and Vrede had brought his own rifle. He shot the creature and it roared in pain, nearly decapitating him with a tentacle.
"Where's Gotehk?" Jecht asked, but no one responded too him.
The creature began to move forward towards them.
"Oh shit," Jecht groaned.
Suddenly the door on the other end of the kennel burst open and they saw the perpetrator was Neza, who quickly stepped to the side to let room for Atama. On her back she carried two gasoline tanks, which connected to the flame thrower.
"Eat this," She unleashed the weapon upon the creature, who yelled in pain. Addramyr ran away, only to return with fire extinguishers before anyone even noticed he was gone.
"Here," he gave one to Athkin. "If this place catches on fire, we're finished!"
The creature roared and tried to impale Atama with a tentacle, but Neza intercepted with his own dark tentacles. It was barely enough to save her as it confused the monster more than harming it. Atama growled and continued to burn it and soon the creature just seemed to lose momentum. With a cry, it turned silent.
Addramyr and Athkin quickly put it out. Atama huffed at its corpse.
"Bitches don't be messing with Atama," she spat.

No one was especially happy after that. Gotehk had briefly done an autopsy on the creature but stopped, realizing that it was pointless. He had interviewed Vincent briefly and it occurred to him that Vincent had spent most of the time with the dog, who had been wandering the camp for an entire day! He refused to allow Jecht into the room when he visited and refused to let Addramyr give his opinion on the dog-creatures quick autopsy. Eventually Miyashi had forced her way in (17 right behind her) and demanded that he give her his opinions.
Gotehk showed her a computer demonstration about how the dog-creature's cells merged with the normal dogs cells and then proceeded to imitate them, killing off the normal dog cells in the process. It was a perfect parasite, really.
Miyashi ordered Athkin (since he was nearby) and 17 to move the body into a storage room. She eyed Gotehk with a worried expression.
"Take a rest, kid." She advised. "You look like hell."
Gotehk nodded and the last she saw of him was him sitting down in a chair.
***
Falkor was in the storage room, removing some of his own items from there (like hell he would leave him with a thing like that!) when 17 and Athkin came in with the body.
"Sorry, Falkor you-" Athkin saw that Falkor was already removing his stuff. "Oh-"
Falkor nodded and left them. Athkin saw Falkor bup into Jecht, who ushered him away quickly. Athkin braved a second look at the dog creature.
"We should destroy it."
"Seriously?" 17 scowled. "That's going to win someone a prize for sure!"
He rubbed his hands together.
"Oh yeah," Athkin patted himself. "Miyashi wanted this locked up."
"Get the keys, then." 17 shrugged. "She has him."
"Right," Athkin left and 17 continued getting his own stuff out.
He did not notice a burnt form moving behind him.
***
Gotehk watched his computer. He had decided not to show Miyashi the second half of the visual, which described in detail that if this organism got out to a civilized area, the world would be taken over within a week.
He asked the computer whether or not it was likely someone was infected. It responded with "70% likely". He let out a long sigh and opened a drawer under it, revealing a gun.
***
Jecht had dragged Falkor out to the garage, much to his annoyance. They found Vegeta there, grumbling about how he refused to allow Atama to have the only flame thrower and knew there was another one.
Jecht glanced at Vegeta but shrugged. "Guys, I think something is wrong with Gotehk. He's been acting crazy all night. He won't talk to anyone and I-"
He glanced down.
"I saw some of his notes. There were living organisms within those cells."
Vegeta frowned and eyed Jecht suspiciously. Since when did Jecht actually know stuff about biology? He frowned even more, and since when did Vegeta himself know enough about biology to know about Jecht's unreliability when it came to biology? He stared at himself suspiciously in the mirror.
Falkor was pretty damn nervous himself, not with Jecht, but with Vegeta. While he kept it to himself, he could've sworn he saw Vegeta with the dog earlier. Jecht continued to talk to about Gotehk, but both were alerted by a scream.
It was Athkin's
***
Athkin dropped the keys, 17 was on the ground, naked as the creature fed on him. Or was it feeding on him? it almost looked like it was trying to vomit him out!
"Guys!" he cried. He fled the scene, running straight into Atama.
"Hey, watch going-"
"It's 17!" he yelled.
Vegeta, Falkor and Jecht arrived. Vrede and Addramyr shortly followed. They looked in the room but saw nothing but shredded clothing and a broken window.
"Outside!"
***
"Um, Miyashi." Neza said casually in Miyashi's office. He was looking out the window.
"I think 17 wants to confess his love for you."
"What?" Miyashi asked, annoyed and surprised.
"He's coming this way and he's naked."
"What?" Miyashi was taken aback from that.
"And since you're a streaker- Ow!" A black eye shut him up.
****
Vegeta's group reached 17 but had to pull back. Falkor grabbed Athkin, who nearly tumbled over him. Super 17 looked perfectly normal, except his hands were distinctly alien. His eyes seemed hollow and dark. He looked straight at Vrede, who took a step back. It opened it's mouth and screamed.
Seconds later, everyone except Atama and Gotehk was outside. 17-thing began shuffling towards Vrede, mouth open wide and Vegeta kicked a can of gasoline over. It covered 17-thing, who turned on him.
"Use a flare, dammit!" It was Trunks who lit a flare and threw it on 17, who was consumed by flames. They stared at the creature for a moment, before Atama's cry startled them.

Falkor and Miyashi reached her first, with Vegeta and Addramyr being close behind. Atama lay on the ground, unconscious. Addramyr quickly checked on her.
"Atama, Atama." he said clinically. "You need to wake up now."
Pulling out sniffing salts, he held it under her nose and she woke up.
"Gotehk," he groaned. "It was Gotehk".
***
Athkin regretted going straight towards his radio room. He now cowered in a corner, bleeding from his head, as Gotehk smashed everything with an axe.
"It can't get away!" Gotehk yelled. "Don't you see! It can't get away!"
He chopped the transmitter in half. Neza watched from peering his head around the door. Trunks arrived behind him.
"Don't!" Neza told him. "He has a gun."
Soon, everyone arrived, wondering what the hell was happening. Vrede was the last one to appear.
"Ugh, the helicopter is chopped up. The snow mobiles too." He looked at Vincent. "I saw one of the dogs in the back too. He got it."
Vincent instantly got up and left in a hurry to check.
"Atama," Vegeta ordered. "Go around and try to talk to him. Trunks, get a table."
Trunks left to do so.
"Gotehk," Atama tried to sooth but all it did was infuriate him.
"Don't come any closer!" He bellowed. He pulled out a gun and fired at her. She moved in time and he unloaded a full clip. When his gun was empty, he threw it at her.
The next thing he knew, Miyashi and Vegeta were charging at him, protected by a table. Gotehk lifted his axe and slammed it into the wood. Falkor and Neza darted behind him and Neza summoned a tentacle that knocked the gun away. Falkor chopped him on the side of the neck, knocking him out.
Everyone paused, wondering if there would be any more screams.
***
Addramyr had given Gotehk a shot to calm him down. They then hauled him to a shack, where Falkor and Vrede were boarding up the windows. Gotehk sat down in the cabin without saying anything.
Outside, Vincent returned, crestfallen. One of the dogs had been killed by him for sure. Atama, Vincent, Addramyr and Vegeta stood side by side.
"If it imitates perfectly," Atama asked, "How can you tell it's really me?"
"I couldn't tell that 17 had become it," Vincent sighed. "I thought I would too."
"Same," Athkin said approaching them with Miyashi. "I thought my eyes would pick it up, but other than it's visible hands, I saw nothing different."
"Well, is there any tests we can do?" Miyashi asked. Addramyr nodded.
"I was thinking of a blood serum test. Put the saved blood with the contaminated blood and see what happens."
Miyashi nodded, handing Addramyr the keys. "Do it. We'll in your lab in 15 minutes."
***
Falkor and Vrede glanced at Gotehk, who sighed with weakly.
"We'll check up on you," Falkor said and turned to leave.
"Watch Vincent," Gotehk warmed tiredly. "He was the one with the dog."
Vrede looked at Falkor, who merely stepped out.
***
"Guys!" Addramyr cried. Everyone arrived in his office to see that the blood was leaking all over the floor.
"How did this happen?" Neza cursed. "How could they have gotten to the blood?" Vegeta demanded.
Miyashi took the keys back from Addramyr.
"You need the keys to get too it, right?" Jecht asked.
"Correct," Miyashi nodded stiffly.
"So who had access to the keys?" He continued.
"Me." Addramyr turned pale as he said so. "Me too." Miyashi added.
"Then one of you had to have done it!" Jecht accused.
Suddenly everyone began to argue. "Don't think I've overlooked you, Vincent!" "Oh yeah, I saw you with the dog too, Vegeta!" Vincent clearly understood why he was being suspected.
"I say Miyashi did it," Jecht growled. "The doc at least thought of the test." "Why you-" "But if Miyashi did it, why didn't she get me or Athkin." Neza chimed in. "Everyone, shut up!" Trunks yelled.
Athkin had avoided arguing, but the more he thought about it, the more he panicked and darted off.
"Athkin-" Trunks called and everyone ran after him. Athkin kicked in the glass contained various rifles and aimed on at Addramyr, who raised his hands.
"Enough!" Falkor bellowed. Everyone turned to him. "We have to be smart about this, guys. We need to keep level heads and figure out how to beat this thing."
"Personally," Atama frowned. "I think we should split up."
"Yeah, then we won't have to worry about it." Neza agreed.
"What? No," Falkor grumbled. "That's stupid-"
"Split up it is," Miyashi nodded. "If we're human, we won't mess with each-other."
Everyone slowly fell apart, taking refuge in their own parts of the room.
And yet no one even thought of one important thing? What happened to the corpse of the dog creature?

Chapter 1: The Sanity of Madness
The fools had left him there, imprisoned in a shack where he could not escape. Did they not realize that in his isolation, this ploy left him vulnerable? Still, his own temperary madness had been a mistake. He was sure he could've isolated the whole base if he just talked to Miyashi, or if not her, then Vegeta or Falkor.
As Gotehk sat in his shack, he began to collect himself. He now felt oddly calm, as if he finally knew what to do. His options are simple. The first appealed to his fear, which was to stay here and hope the whole thing blew over. The second appealed to his bloodlust, which was to hunt for any signs of the invador and slay it. The third appealed to common sense.
Make sure no one got off this base alive.
Gotehk frowned. He wasn't evil. He did like to fight and occasionally even bully a poor soul who crossed him, but killing his allies just sounded wrong. But at the same time- Gotehk bit his lip- who was to say they were still his allies? They had left him here, probably to die.
There was a fourth option, which was suicide. He eyed the rope which rested against the wall. But...Gotehk was sure it wouldn't be enough. Gotehk rubbed his head furiosity. He was the science expert! He knew more than the rest! he knew the cells within the thing they had captured weren't dead. He also suspected that in an attempt to 'blend in', the thing likely hid behind its victims personality. They likely weren't even aware they were the thing!
Gotehk felt a pang. Even he wasn't sure he was still Gotehk. He felt his teeth grit. Damn! He was stuck in this fucking shack! If he could only search his room or his lab he could at least search for torn clothing! He was sure that whatever the victims were wearing would be finished during assimilation. Gotehk continued to think.
He also knew that fire would be enough to kill it if you kept burning until nothing was left. Gotehk stood up and scanned the room. The shack was small, messy and old. Towls, old sheets and cardboard were scattered everywhere. A busted cupboard lay on the ground at his feat and of course he had been sitting on an old chair. He eyed the rope once more, trying to deduce its use. He looked at the windows. They were crudely boarded to where he couldsee through them, but obviously he would be unable to crawl out.
Without realizing it, Gotehk begin to have a panic attack until he saw a strange shine from under one of the sheets. Gotehk stomped towards the glare and removed the sheet. He smirked. It was an axe.
Gotehk moved quickly, searching the room thoroughly for anything else of use. He looked under an ugly, beaten carppet and in the busted cupboard. The cupboard rewarded his searching with a usable flare. Gotehk pulled on his temp suit. He had a suit, a flare and an axe. Not bad for a prisoner. Gotehk popped the flare into his back pocket wth his left hand. He then concentrated his energy and unleashed it. His Super Saiyan form warmed up the air with a loud pop. But he knew he could not maintain it forever, so had to hurry!
Picking up the right axe, Gotehk cautiously walked to the door. He gripped his weapon and pulled back, bringing it into the door once. The wood was chopped easily. Pulling back, Gotehk chopped again. Trying a new tactic, Gotehk aimed the axe at the lock. He felt it give in, but the door did not open. He took one final swipe and the door swung open. The cold breeze from the outside rammed into Gotehk's face.
With force, he closed the door to keep the cold out. He proceeded to hide the axe where he found it, but was sure to conceal the weapon more efficiently. He made sure the temp suit was secure and exited the shack. Snow blew around in the air violently, wipping against his face. Gotehk popped the flare, the light making it significantly easier to see.
Gotehk looked towards the main base and then looked past it. A light had caught it's eye, and it came from the helicopter pad. Gotehk squinted and could've sworn he could make out the light of a flare. But if that's what it was, who was it? Were they a monster or were they one of his friends? Gotehk bit his lip and turned to face the other direction. Falkor's cabin was nicely isolated and he happened to know that the Namic had plenty of interesting items in his possessions. Gotehk peered at the cabin and froze.
Someone was there...
Or maybe something. The cabin's lights were on, which wasn't too much of a shock. Miyashi and Atama had complained in the past of Falkor leaving the electricity on in his room when it wasn't necessary. But for a brief moment, Gotehk was sure he saw the brief outline of a temp suit before it vanished in the darkness.
Weighing his options, Gotehk cleared his throat. If he went to the heli-pad, something useful might be there. An enemy might be there too. If he went to Falkor's cabin, it was the same situation. He had to hurry and make up his mind though. The cold was creeping through his suit. He began to trek towards Falkor's cabin. He would deal with the heli-pad intruder later.
For several moments, Gotehk was sure he was not getting anywhere. His super saiyan form meant that he was not slow, but with the temp suit weighing him down, he was beginning to find himself short on breath. He cursed as the flare flickered out.
He looked up at the lights of Falkor's cabin. Well, for once, Falkor's irresponsibility when it came to electricity was paying off! All he had to do was follow the lights! He did so and found that he was getting close. He could see the small window of Falkor's cabin and thought he saw movement inside. He followed the light so intently that he nearly fell over when a new shadow descended upon him. Looking down intently, Gotehk saw it was one of Vincent's dogs. It watched him, slightly hostile as it was growling lightly. Gotehk glanced around, expecting some sign of Vincent, but sighed in relief when he saw no one. Vincent would've taken care of the dog, but Vincent also could've attempted to overpower him and force him back in the shack. He could take care of the dog himself. The dog bared its fangs.
Gotehk slowly walked up to the dog, holding out a hand, trying to be friendly. He glanced up at Falkor's cabin brieftly- but not seeing anyone- he turned his gaze towards the huskey. "It's okay dog you're safe with me."
He didn't want to fight quite yet. He at least wanted to reach the cabin first. The dog peered at Gotehk curiously and sneazed on his hand. Gotehk laughed a little at the adorable act and pulled his hand back.
"Well, aren't you just-" he looked at his hand. Did it just sneeze a yellow fluid on him? He heard the grumbling before he saw it. Head snapping up, Gotehk's jaw dropped as the dogs body began to convulse. Suddenly, little, teeny tentacles ripped through its body. It was as if it's fur was now made of squirming worms. Something about it grossed Gotehk out even more than the last dog! It let out a pained, maddening screach and Gotehk put his hands over his ears in instinct and squeezed his eyes shut. Gotehk felt his body shiver involuntarily and opened his eyes, only to catch a glimpse of the sharp fanged, saliva covered jaws of the dog. Gotehk yelped and leaped backwards, sure he could avoid the blow.
He miscalculated. Gotehk gasped as the jaws sunk into his flesh, the padding of the suit protecting him slightly. Despite the tentacles, it acted like a normal dog. It's head jerked back and forth, trying to tear out stuffing and flesh. The dog ripped off a large chunk of the suit. Gotehk looked at his wound and paled.
Bright red was now where the piece of his suit used to be. Gotehk pulled himself to his feat, glancing at Falkor's cabin in desperation only to have his hopes plunder. He saw no one. Pressing against his wound, a terrifying thought assaulted him.
Was he now infected?
Gotehk was so caught up in the thought that by the time he noticed the dog attack with some well place bites, it was too late. He groaned. How in the hell could he dodge this? He simply couldn't! He screamed at each bite, blood beginning to cover the snow, only for more snow to cover the blood....and then blood to cover that snow as more bites tore out chunks of Gotehk's flesh. Gotehk screamed, his mouth filled with blood. He was dead! He was being severely wounded in unbearable cold by something that likely was infecting him!
Gotehk pounded on the dog in retaliation and tried to push it off, but found he was too weak for it to be effective. His super saiyan aura had dissipated, leaving him vulnerable. He felt his life drain away rapidly, but at least there was little pain. The cold actually seemed to only make him more numb too it. The dog let go of his throat and Gotehk wondered what he could have done differently to save himself. Perhaps it was a losing battle after all.
His body convulsed and Gotehk felt this creepy sensation crawl throughout his body, feeling literally like thousands of worms were crawling through his flesh. Eying Falkor's cabin, he saw someone appear in the window, watching him. Whomever it was, Gotehk wished them the best of luck.
Then for Gotehk, there was only darkness.
