TITLES You will be given the opportunity to choose one or the other from each group. Opposing titles will be given for choosing. 1.Sell Sword/Knight 2.Scholar/Inquisitor 3.Paragon/Rogue Further titles will be acquired in the same manner. Assassin - Shadow/ Mercenary - Gladiator, and so on. Mage titles (scholar) should be chosen by your nations, or your pretender, prevailing magic path. A strong blood nation ought to specialize in blood magic. You might find them difficult to acquire othervice. Choose carefully when deciding which title you will try to acquire. Each title will bring boons appropriate as much as possible to the title. A Paladin certainly won't receive blood slavers as reword and so forth. Also, players are expected to play in the spirit of their titles. Once again, a Paladin should't back stab his ally. He certainly can of course, but a good reason must be provided to the Pantokrator for such an action else He might smite the Paladin down for not acting befitting his title. One last thing regarding titles; Unlike achievements where the goals are clear from the start, you will only have a general idea on how to conduct yourselves from the titles presented to you. Opportunities to acquire titles will be given at certain points in the game (pre designed by me) and requirements to meet them as well. An Assassin will obviously be required to assassinate someone to gain his title and so on. I think the diversity among titles can bring some pretty interesting combination. For example; Assassian/Maleficarum/Vengance. A vengeful blood mage assassin. ******************************************** **------------------------------------------------------------ **---------------Assassin---------Shadow--------------- **Sell Sword----------------------------------------------- **---------------Mercenary-------Gladiator-------------- **------------------------------------------------------------ **------------------------------------------------------------ **--------------Sentinel---------Champion-------------- **Knight---------------------------------------------------- **--------------Crusader--------Paladin----------------- **----------------------------------------------------------- ******************************************** ******************************************** **----------------------------------------------------------- **Scholar-----Blood Mage------Maleficarum---------- **--------------Sage-------------Arch Mage------------- **--------------Pyromancer-----Furry------------------- **--------------Druid-------------Keeper of the Grove- **--------------Necromancer----Lich-------------------- **--------------Illusionist--------Tempest--------------- **--------------Master Smith----Forge Lord------------ **--------------Hydromancer---Cryomancer----------- **------------------------------------------------------------ **--------------Templar---------Legendary Templar--- **Inquisitor------------------------------------------------ **--------------Witch Hunter----Demon Hunter-------- **------------------------------------------------------------ ******************************************** ******************************************** **---------------------------------------------------------- **--------------Virtue------------Divine----------------- **Paragon------------------------------------------------ **--------------Justice-----------Vengance------------- **---------------------------------------------------------- **--------------Blackguard------Shrewd---------------- **Rogue--------------------------------------------------- **--------------Turncloak--------Betrayer-------------- **---------------------------------------------------------- ******************************************** ACHIEVEMENTS 1. You are expected to roleplay to some extent in interaction in game and on these forums (exception can be made of course, for example when asking for delay) Also, players should otherwise regard this as a relaxed game where the goal is to have fun (winning is fun too, of course..) Some General Guidelines: - I need to see a player's .trn file to confirm the completion of some achievements and titles. This is rather easy to do, just send the llamaserver e-mail with the turn into my e-mail miksov(dot)mail(at)gmail(dot)com -"Challenge" is a additional term to titles and achievements and completing it is not mandatory, but if the terms for it are met when the player completes the them, the player will receive extra rewards relating to the title or achievement. - Unless otherwise stated, PD units and battlefield summons do not count towards leading or killing units in the battlefield (for simplity's sake, the units have to show up on the battle report) - Conquer a province means to take over a province with a battle. Taking empty independents (like after horror attack) and 0 PD provinces does not henceforth count as "conquering". Settings Era: MA + mod nations. MC mod nation only. And only those I deem balanced. Players: 10 land players + Game Master (me). Settings: Renaming on, HoF 15, magic sites 45. Score Graphs off Mods: CBM 1.92 + COE 3 summons + Svarogia + Hexapoda + Malazens + Hoburg Alliance + Game Master mod by Burnsaber + Upgrade Sprites by Sombre Mod Link Here! Diplomacy 1) Machievellian. The Pantokrator might after all request you to back stab an ally. What happens in this game stays in this game. Map: Realm of Darkness (154 + 8) - Map link will be provided once all map details are fixed (start position, province connections, special monsters) or maybe not. This is the map that will be used; RoD map can be found here. Other Rules Exploits; All the regular stuff - lab filling with junk items is forbidden - No copying bogus orders (the heroes can keep them, but you can't spread them around) - The GM mod has some modded stuff for him alone. List will be provided but those things are considered off limits to all players. Hosting Hosting will be slower than normal for this game, to give me the time I need to deal with requests, send messages to players, and for you to create your stories and interact with each others without rushing. Quickhost will also be off so I can better monitor the game. Having a fixed hosting schedule might be best for this type of game so the reminder emails don`t creep up on you. 48h for the first 18 turns 72h from turns 18 - 36 96h from turns 36 - 54 120h from turn 54 on Delays granted on request. Victory Conditions & Game End Ascension: A player wins if he acquires 30 victory points. VP are acquired trough conquests, achievements and titles; - Each capitol you conquer is worth 3 VP's (Note the part where I stated conquered. Your own capital does not count) - Each achievement is worth 1 VP - Level 1 titles are worth 1 VP - Level 2 titles are titles are worth 2 VP - Level 3 titles are worth 4 VP One last thing; This game is not open for wankers, stailers and bailers. If you do not think you can keep up, or don`t want to bother with diplomacy, writing your story, interacting with other players and the Pantokrator than this game is not for you. A certain amount of commitment is required when joining this game. If you find yourself in trouble, don`t have time anymore, RL problem occur, or anything other that requires you to drop this game please state so. Subs will be found or extensive delays will be granted. Newbs are welcomed to join this game as well. After all not every Pretender is equally capable nor deserving of ascension. Everything is open for discussion. If you have something to add and/or suggest, as in game settings, mods, new titles, etc, than please do. PLAYERS 1. Hishtagat - Svarogia 2. GFSnl - Pangaea 3. dojango - Hoburg Alliance 4. Kianduatha - Machaka 5. Admiral_Aorta - Hexapoda 6. Fantomen - Agartha 7. Twobits - C'tis 8. quantum_mechani - Mictlan - bradicus13 as of turn 10 9. Deathjester - Malezans 10.vargr - Abysia Game Master/Admin - Executor Addendum; I'm also considering whether to add bonus quests or achievements when specifically requested from the Game Master. For example some with the titles Assassian/Maleficarum/Vengance could request additional quests which would of course require him to exact revenge on someone by assassinating him with blood magic. These type of quests would probably bring more VPs (3?) Important! Your pretender must be introduced in the thread (you can be secret about type of god and so on) in a way that gives the other players a sense/idea of the god’s personality and goals for the world. National heroes are encouraged to be introduced in the same way. Your prophet is considered the “King” of the nation. He must also be introduced in the thread, and he must have leadership (no lowly scout kings!). Events concerning your king prophet are encouraged to be shared in the game thread (especially death and/or heroic feats or the appointment of a new king/prophet). -------------------- |

Well, if mod nations are open, I've always wanted to ascend to the divine throne from a pile of stabbed ankles. If the Hoburg Alliance isn't considered too terribly overpowered, I'd like to play as them.

I'm definitely up for it; having trouble deciding what exactly to play, though; something between Oceania, Atlantis, Ashdod, Machaka, and Dwarves.

I might be interested in playing since I'm almost done with my exams, though I'm not sure what nation I'd play. By the way, I've updated COE summons so you should be able to use the latest version in this.

I'll check the nation today, but I'm pretty sure they are quite alright if I remember correctly. Kianduatha, I'm not sure how well water nation would do. The map has only 9 water provinces and I think a lot of stuff would be much harder to do for a water nation. Though I guess I could probably add a few more water provinces myself if you want. Admiral_Aorta, Fantomen, welcome aboard. -------------------- |

OK, this definitely looks like a game worth coming out of semi-retirement for
If I'm welcome, I have no idea on a race yet. I had fun with the evil-theme of Shinuyama in LOII. But I don't want to repeat the same race. Any suggestions? Maybe a good mod nation to try? -------------------- "I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part"

Well I think that's it. OP updated a bit and full list of achievements added.
Twobits, I'll recommend a few mod nations that were fun for me; Nehekara - Tomb Kings, Arga Dis and Haida Gwaii. QM, nice to you you're still lurking around this forum. -------------------- |
