I don't think I'm comfortable playing a game with this kind of player. Especially as he would have already staled without the extension.

So I suggest we do one more restart have Skeleton join the game ( is everyone okay with ermor? hmm... sucks to start next to them. ) as he does seem eager to play.

Sure restart. It will give me time to try another 10 or so versions of my pretender. I've already concluded I need to shift one scale and one point of magic. This is hard work getting it perfect. And no, my name isn't Calahan.

But for Skeleton joining as LA-Ermor, well, that may sound unfriendly, but I would rather vote for NO.

I'm not an experienced player myself, but here's my personal opinion:

Skeleton previously joined this game without knowing that games are usually hosted in the forum. So I suspect that he has not been well prepared for a multiplayer game yet. I suggest that he should probably read some more guide about this game so that he will not be defeated easily in his first game. (Well, I once heard a similar story when reading the other thread in the forum: A player joined a game without posting in the forum, showed up later, played very awful, and then quit without notification. I don't want this game to get into a similar situation)

And LA-Ermor is the most unique nation in this game. I have very little knowledge about it, but I heard that it is not a good nation to start with for a new player, and it is vulnerable to an early rush.

So, I would rather wait for another player to join other than Skeleton, especially if he get accepted in another game hosted by Pol.

lucheng: I've been playing a ton of games on the map. I can guarantee that we'll have 2-3 nations die fast. It's crazy tight for 8 players with the teleporters. I think Ermor won't be that much of an issue and frankly, if skeleton can't manage it I think Ermor is easy enough to put AI. Kind of an odd veiwpoint but it's Ermor. It's a one trick pony and the AI in general does fine.

I mean, Ermor is a huge PITA in a game but we already have R'lyeh led by the famous Chilly Camel. This is going to be a really crazy game anyways. Normally I'd agree with you but given our hilarious settings it should just be fun.

Alternately, we could let skeleton join with a normal nation. R'lyeh isn't quite as bad as Ermor.
