Hi everyone,

This is a game using the Dominions Enhanced mod v0.13 in the MA, the mod makes a lot of changes and is in a very early alpha. However, many of the nations now have more unique mechanics and weaker nations have become stronger overall.

We have 7 players. Nations will be chosen on a first come, first served basis. There is a sister thread on tgdmb here, but you don't have to look at it if you don't want to.

A partial changelog with better formatting is here. The full changelog is here, the mod itself is here. This is not a balance mod and it changes every facet of the game in fairly significant ways, thus I don't expect you to know what you are doing. I certainly don't. This is intended to be a lighthearted and fun game in a unique mod environment, not the most competitive or serious dominions 3 game ever. Game settings will be decided when we get enough players to start.

Got you as Agartha. Now that we have at least enough players to know the game is on it is time to talk settings I guess. I favor leaving most of the game settings default, with the definite exception of the Hall of Fame and Renaming, and with the possible exceptions of indy settings and magic frequency. I wouldn't be opposed to a slightly higher magic frequency, say 50 (instead of the default 40). I will not be put out if people disagree with that though.

Been a long time since I posted here. I favor higher magic frequency.

The map hasn't been discussed I think. I much prefer a wraparound over a square map.

Yeah, I'll start looking at maps with between 75-80 land provinces tomorrow. I would also prefer a wrapping map, if anyone has suggestions let me know.

EDIT: It looks like we got another player, and maybe a water nation, we need a larger 90-100 (total) province map now. I'll get some choices up when I know if we have a water nation or not.

The game is up on llamaserver here. The map is currently set to realm of rampaging roaches, because it will work for 6 land nations or 5 land nations and 1 water nation. Unfortunately I don't have a download link at the moment but I'll post one when I have it.

Sure you can still join, I'll go looking for another map. We need a 90 land wrapping one now.

EDIT-Everyone: We had a last minute sign up, so the map is changing. I want your input, the choices are Land of Ethereal Squirrels, The Desert Eye, or Streamlands. The two that are not default maps can be found here. The downside to Ethereal Squirrels and Desert Eye is they are both larger maps, the downside to Streamlands is that it has only 10 water provinces so expect atlantis to make landfall.

Squirrels or Steamlands are my votes.

Game started, I don't see any notices about cheating so we seem to be good to go.
