Well, I did say the next one would be a bit different...
![]() From the description: An ancient parchment showing a piece of the Old Realm, where a great battle was once fought between the servants of the old Pantocrater vying for his empty throne. Sites of old magic contain great power, and contain portals allowing whole armies to cross the world with a single step. 108 land provinces, 16 sea, 2 lake. Suitable for 8 - 10 players, one of them underwater. There are 5 magic sites on the two continents, plus a sixth on the central isle. They don't all link to each other, but there are enough links that moving between the two shouldn't be a huge pain. I plan to do a map with preset enemies for those sites, which will be made available only to llamabeast. No peeking Download here |

Greedy self asks - do you plan to some time do a larger scope map?- like 200-250 provinces? |

Nice!
I have updated the wiki to have the links point to the llamaserver. Will you add this map to the wiki yourself? |

Yeah, I'll sort out the wiki, thanks for updating the other links. And Wraithlord - greedy self might be in luck, because it's much easier to do big maps with this method. It'll not be for a while though.

This map is interesting, but I think there might be a problem going from the southern to the northern section. With only one land connection going north, the southerners will be cut off unless they can field some water-breathing forces.

Province Tenera, 107, northwest water province is in fact a land province.
Excellent map btw. -------------------- |

Yeah!
But could be even better if it was East-West wrap around though. -------------------- |

Like the layout, pretty fun.
One error I found is that #107, one of the NW lake provs, is a land province. EDIT: gah, Executor noticed that very same thing. Way to read the whole thread before posting, jotwebe. EDIT: in fact, it seemed easy enough to go ahead and fix it. Changed terrain for #107 to 516. EDIT: aaaand changed the name and description to reflect this. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/105153944/Stonehav...ixed107.map.zip |
