Dracula's Stillness....

I'm sure everyone has seen Dracula 2000. Sure it's a bit okay with the script and all, but it was worth watching because of Gerry being Dracula.

But, has anyone else notice Gerry's stillness as Dracula?

Are you talking about literally? As is he seemed stiff during most of the movie?

There is a certain way about his Dracula where others do not have it.

That stillness, that come sense I guess of calm... maybe? I know when I brought this up at the other forum I'm a mod at a lot of people knew what I was talking about.

What I remember was the SEXIE walk through the DVD store!!! Man that part I just every time!!!!
Actually mostly on this film, I just wish they had used Gerry and his talents more, cause the script was a bit lame---and we KNOW it could have been a LOT better if they'd let Gerry take the lead in some areas!
It was just a little MODERN for me I guess---I mean the beginning with the FOG--I was more into that atmosphere than the rest of it!

This was the first film I ever saw Gerry in. I was so impressed with his interpretation of Dracula in a modern setting. I think he played the Dracula character with alot of "inner power". He is aware that is the most powerful creature, he oozes that power where it definitely translate as sexy, magnetic. He knows he has the power to mesmerize mortals, control them when he pleases, etc. It's what makes him such a dangerous creature and centers him. Perhaps that what comes across as the stillness spoken of? At least that's my analysis so to speak. Anyway I remember thinking at the time he was gorgeous and going to be big and look at him now! LOL

Messmerizeing and Power for sure---maybe some Arrogance as well--Knowing he can pretty much control his world and make the decisions about how things are going to go! But absolutely MALE SEX!!!!!!! HE ABOUSOLUTELY OOZES IT!
