Please, please, please follow these rules when you're roleplaying. I cannot stress enough how important these rules are.

1. DO NOT GOD MODE. Do not control other RPers characters unless they give you permission. Do not make yourself more powerful than every opponent you fight. And, this is especially important, DO NOT kill off other members' characters without their permission.
2. Do not post in this kind of format:
QUOTE
Bob: OMG, Agumon hax and sLaSH tHAT gUY.
Augmon attacked.
Bob: grud JOB!!!!!!~~~*****

The correct format would look something like this:
QUOTE
Bob, realizing how grave the situation was, urged on Agumon with as much energy as he could muster. "Agumon! Don't let that guy beat you down! Keep up your awesome work!"

3. Be courteous to EVERY member.
4. Do not edit your post after a someone has made a reply. The only time the post can be editted is if the edit has no affect on the reply.
5. Do not cheat. Please, we're using the honor system on this board.
6. Do not skip from one area to the next. The Digital World is one GIGANTIC continent. Going from the Icelands to the Digital City in one minute cannot happen.
7. Stay active. Please, please stay active. If you're going out of town or leaving for good, let us know.
8. Ask questions. Yes, this is a rule. If you're completely stumped about something, DO NOT be afraid to ask an admin/moderator a question.
9. Only three character per person. Yes, you are only allowed to have three human characters.
10. A Tamer can only have two Digimon partners. Therefore, following the rule above, if you have a total of three characters, you could have a total of six Digimon. Obtaining a second Digimon partner, however, will not just happen when a member feels like gaining another Digimon - a member must first gain 75 EXP points.
11. Also, only a total of five characters can have the same Digimon line. So, if five characters already have the line Agumon - Greymon - MetalGreymon - WarGreymon, then no more characters can have that Digimon line.
12. Be realistic when fighting/training. An Ikkakumon cannot fly. A Punimon cannot defeat an Ultimate level Digimon.
13. This isn't a rule, but more of a reminder. Japanese names and attacks are perferred on this board. They are not required, however.

--------------------------------------

Digivice:
Every tamer has a Digivice known as the Digital Remote, D-Mote for short. You can chose the color you want. The D-Mote has a variety of useful features on it, which will be mentioned on this board. (Note that more may be added at some point. If this happens, I will make a notice of it.)

1. Clock / Calendar - like a watch, the D-Mote has an internal clock and calendar. The current year is 2007, by the way.
2. Card Swipe - returning from Digimon Tamers is the card swipe. Cards are used to power up Digimon, but must be purchased. As of now, though, there are no cards available for purchasing.
3. Digimon Database - like past Digivices, the D-Mote has a database on every Digimon imaginable.
4. Human Database - a feature new to Digivices, the D-Mote has the ability to gather information from restricted documents to gain information on humans.
5. Evolution - a basic feature that allows a tamer's Digimon to evolve.
6. Mass Storage System - allows for a tamer to store important information, maps, music, files, etc.
7. Instant Messenger - a new feature that allows tamers to text back and forth between each other like a cell phone!
8. Compass - a basic compass in case a tamer gets lost.
9. Teleport - the D-Mote also allows tamers to transport from the Digital World to the Real World. The only way to get to the Real World is through a port, though, while the Digital World can be accessed by any computer.
10. Tracker - in case a tamer loses their Digimon, the D-Mote can act as a tracker to quickly find their Digimon.

--------------------------------------

Digimon Evolution:

Digimon evolution will be handled in a certain way. When you first start, your Digimon will only have access to their first three forms: Baby, Baby II/In-Training, and Child/Rookie. This, however, can be changed as you gain experience through training, random Digimon battles, etc. For the ease of things, the experience Digimon gain will be known as EXP. Starting members' Digimon will have a base EXP of 0.

Here's a list of EXP requirements to evolve to more powerful forms:

Child / Rookie - 0 EXP Points
Adult / Champion - 50 EXP Points
Perfect / Ultimate - 250 EXP Points
Ultimate / Mega - 500 EXP Points
Beyond Ultimate / Mega - 1,000 EXP Points

* Beyond Ultimate / Mega level will be a Digimon's Burst Mode, which was introduced in Digimon Savers. Generally speaking, the only major thing that happens to the Digimon is that their have different colors than their Ultimate / Mega form, and that they learn new attacks. Since there's only a few true Burst Modes, members will have to make the changes to the Digimon themselves. (So either describe in detail the changes to the Ultimate / Mega form, or alter pictures.) Confused? Well, here's some articles to explain the Burst Modes: ShineGreymon Burst Mode, MirageGaogamon Burst Mode, Rosemon Burst Mode, and Ravemon Burst Mode. Also note that the Digimon can gain new items / features in the Burst Mode. For instance, Beelzebumon in his Blast Mode - here we'll call it Burst Mode - gained a gigantic weapon along with wings. Take a look. It's up to the member as to what they add to their Digimon, but it must be approved by an admin/moderator.

EXP points will be given to RPers by admins/moderators. The amount of EXP points you received will vary.

--------------------------------------

Digimon Creation:

Though it is preferred that you use real Digimon, you can infact make your own Digimon. If you decide to make your own Digimon, then you MUST MUST MUST provide a descrpition of your Digimon and its evolution lines. Of course, if you have a picture, then providing a description of your Digimon is unnecessary.

Here is the template that you must fill out for each of your created Digimon's level:

Custom Digimon Information:
Name:
Level: (Baby, Baby II, Child, Adult, Perfect, Ultimate)
Type:
Attribute: (Virus, Data, or Vaccine)
Attack(s): (Baby and Baby II Digimon only have one attack, Child through Perfect usually have two attacks, and Ultimate varies.)
